The real problem that I encountered with this setup is that normal camping tents just aren’t insulated enough to hold the cold air. The playa didn’t damage it, and the air conditioner still works to this day, but tents just don’t hold the cold. The cool air blowing on you can be nice, but not sure if it’s worth the power consumption
