I wouldn't recommend this model. I have the 9000 BTU version and it's loud as hell which is normal for these units, but it's ALWAYS loud, it doesn't have a not-loud mode like my old (but now dead) unit had. Even fan-only mode is still really loud for some reason so it just seems like bad fan design, it's not the actual AC part of it that is loud.

I have this same one. The main issue is the fact that they are LOUD AS FUCK. Also running costs.

>ProBreeze Check their price right now. This one is Meaco which is usually considered a better brand (I have Probreeze bought for £150 on sale). Maybe less noise as this one is 52 dB.

Nabbed one from them on a Black Friday deal a couple of years ago and it's absolutely transformed my summer sleep quality. Having solar panels on the house also minimises the energy costs beyond a quick burst in the evening to cool the room before going to bed.

If that's a meaco you can 3d print an adapter and add a second hose to make it more effective https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdH85QtD/

I have a Meaco one that's pretty good. It came with two different window kits, so hopefully one of them will work.

I have a meaco one too. It isn't perfect, but it definitely gets our attic bedroom down to a liveable temperature

I've got a Meaco dehumidifier and now a Meaco AC, my Meaco collection is growing. Is that the stream deck buttons next to your keyboard? Can you provide a link to that digital time thingy you have on your desk.

My Meaco costs about £1.5 a day (it runs 15 minutes per hour from 7am to 10pm), and considering we have maybe 10 proper heatwave days per month, and only 3 months of summer where these heatwaves can happen, that's totally worth it.

I run mine 15 minutes per hour from 7am to 10pm. Then outside temperatures tend to drop below inside temperatures. You don't have to have it on literally all day for it to work. I think I've paid maybe £10 so far this summer to not feel the heatwaves at all.
