A portable air conditioner. We got [this one from Amazon](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B082P5VVXC?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1) a few years ago and it works a treat. You pop the hose out the window for it to exhaust the hot air and seal the gaps around it with the included gap filler so the cool air doesn't escape

Got this model a year go and it's fantastic [https://probreeze.com/products/7000-btu-3-in-1-portable-air-conditioner](https://probreeze.com/products/7000-btu-3-in-1-portable-air-conditioner) We also used it use the dehumidifier when we moved into our place and they had not properly ventilated it after shampooing the carpets so the place smelled like mildew. After a couple days humidity levels were great and smell was gone.

I use a probreeze aircon unit, it comes with a window sleeve with a zip you fasten the trunk too. I’m not sure if you’re able to Velcro the window sleeve to the window and frame though. https://probreeze.com/products/7000-btu-3-in-1-portable-air-conditioner?_gl=1*y3pvz6*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5J-3gc28jQMV74lQBh1p-Tq9EAAYASAAEgIZ1PD_BwE&gbraid=0AAAAADCAOue6DOTvEvOA_ZTElG8U2bJej

Got myself a ProBreeze a few weeks ago, and it's probably the best thing I've ever bought. I suffer from hyperhidrosis and heatwaves ramp up my symptoms to shit-hundred-and-fuck. Did you also get people saying "Wow that's super expensive! Is it even worth it?"

Not entirely sure what makes that worth £380... I have one made by ProBreeze which is almost identical which cost £200 during a sale on Amazon. For £380 I would expect a more powerful unit. I hate to say it but I think you could do a lot better for £380, or at least I would expect it to cost at least £100 less than it did.
