ceskykluk_ceskykluk 1.0I bought a used portable air conditioner from Lidl. Cooling a small room that doesn't get sunlight is very efficient. I let the warm air flow into the kitchen, which has an open window. It's a pleasant 23-24 degrees and low humidity, so you don't sweat. Before I go to sleep, I also cool down the bedroom to help me fall asleep better. That's enough for a few days a year.
Broric 0.4Cheap (£150) Silvercrest one on sale from Lidl and it is excellent.
Lightertecha 0.4I bought the Lidl one, I think most stores would have sold out by now as they went on sale on Thursday, you can check on their website. I had wanted to get portable air conditioner for a few weeks now and was prepared to pay up to about £600. Yes it does work! The biggest faff is you have to stick the venting hose out of a partially opened window and then seal the air gap to stop hot air from outside from getting in.
