r/Bluetooth_SpeakersBest speaker under 100$? Something I can hear and feel the bass of outside? And something loud!

Soundcore 2? I have two of them and they don't thump and aren't loud. They are great speakers but aren't beasts. My pair of Uboom L's are great and loud though..

Uboom L ($50) or a pair of them if you want glorious stereo greatness. Soundcore 2 ($29) or Select 4 Go ($22) if you want to spend much. I have pairs of all three and love them all for different things.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersBluetooth speakers WITHOUT subwoofer?

I have a pair of Soundcore 2 speakers and I can safely say that they do not have big subwoofers or intense bass. It sounds like you want a speaker with no bass. I can't imagine enjoying listening to speaker with less bass than a Soundcore 2. I want thick bass, great mids, and clear highs. I also have an Oontz Angle 3 and it has virtually zero bass, I mean it gives the illusion of bass but it really doesn't have bass. I like the bass on my pair of Uboom L's in tws mode and my Soundcore Boom 2 (which delivers more bass than it should, which I love).

Hell I didn't even add. I have a pair Soundcore Select 4 GO's, they are amazing little speakers, you dial in the eq in the app and pretty much dial in zero bass. They are great as a stereo pair, and have respectable bass if eq'd for it. I really like them as a stereo pair of extremely portable small good sounding speakers. They can get loud and still sound clean and clear when. You want it. But they don't have chest thumping bass. But there is enough bass to satisfy if you want it. Costco has them for $29.99 a pair right now. They go for around $25 for one on Amazon most of the time. Very good speakers and they sound great.

Slightly atypical question here—I’m looking for a Bluetooth speaker, but my problem in recent years has been that virtually all speakers now seem to come with subwoofers, which I find extremely uncomfortable (the thumping sensation hurts my ears). This results in having to turn bass way down when I pipe music through those speakers, which I don’t want to do! I love bass, I just can’t take the subwoofer thump/vibration. So, my question is: would anyone happen to know of a Bluetooth speaker that has OK bass but does _not_ include a subwoofer? I had an Altec Lansing Jacket H2O a while back that that was great for this (one of the older models, maybe 2 or 3) but unfortunately its waterproof claims turned out to be false, lol, so it died after I exposed it to humidity. I tried the H2O 4 more recently but it ended up having terrible crackling at the low end so I returned it and haven’t tried them again since then. The other Bluetooth speakers I’ve had are the Anker Soundcore 2 and Anker Soundcore 3, which unfortunately _do_ have really intense subwoofer (edit: any subwoofer lol) and are therefore not great for me. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I second this. I've had the Soundcore 2 at my office desk for about four years now and still works wonders. A couple office mates have the same speaker and have them connected to each other so we can listen together. Been using it basically every weekday for 8 hours for four years straight.

I wouldn't use it for any proper monitoring or mastering, but the Anker Soundcore 2 is a great value, has a 3.5mm stereo aux input, and decent sound. Very handy for using my SeqTrak, and much better than SeqTrak's terrible little speaker. Soundcore 3 is nicer, but sadly doesn't have the aux input.

I really like the Anker Soundcore 2 Portable Speaker. It's $30 and sounds great. It's Bluetooth but also has a 3.5mm jack that I use with my iPod and PSP. The battery lasts me like 6 hours or you can leave it plugged in all day. Also it's waterproof.

The smaller ones are alright for a room (I have the soundcore 1 and 2), but nothing great. Maybe it's just my hearing being shot, but I'll grab my m18 2952-20 if I'm gonna bring a speaker in to work. It'll last a 12 hour day on an xc5 with no problem

I have the Soundcore 3 which is just an upgraded version of the Soundcore 2, and I absolutely love it. Since the 3 is very similar to the 2, I would get the Soundcore 2 if I were you. Hard to beat the performance for the price, and it'll put out more sound than the smaller Select. Edit: my bad, thats the Soundcore 1 you have in the pic. If i were you I would look into the Soundcore 2 or 3. The 2 isnt that much more expensive than the 1 and the 3 is like $60 I think? I got my S3 for like $35 on sale, but i would still buy it at $60. A lot of speaker for the money, and has better speakers and Bluetooth connectivity than the 1 and 2. Although if you NEED to have 3.5mm aux then the 2 is the way to go. But the one isnt bad either if youre on a tight budget.

Weird, I just did a stereo test (YouTube) on my Soundcore 2, and it has stereo separation. Yes, some sound was bleeding through, but I think it's because of the size of the speaker.

I have the Soundcore 2 and the Soundcore Select 4 Go. The Select 4 Go sounds better than the Soundcore 2
