"Anker Soundcore 2 sounds much better but has pretty significant delay. ... Yea that’s my problem I’m getting latency and other weird problems even with line on the speakers I’ve tried and it’s definitely driving me nuts 😂 ... Yea I’m using line in and the dsp on the speakers I mentioned above are still causing a lot of issues whether it’s latency or other even through aux. ... Yea I think Anker speakers are a dud for this use case"

"the latency and slight delay of audio not matching lips/game sfx drives me crazy quickly. ... Even when connected with aux cable and USB power it is way off. ... i found bluetooth is worse than aux on the Anker."

A guy at my work has the go. My soundcore 2 smokes it in bulumr and bass and it's clear sounding. I use two of them together paired in stereo. For my needs it get the job done very well and sounds great.

Soundcore 2? I have two of them and they don't thump and aren't loud. They are great speakers but aren't beasts. My pair of Uboom L's are great and loud though..

Uboom L ($50) or a pair of them if you want glorious stereo greatness. Soundcore 2 ($29) or Select 4 Go ($22) if you want to spend much. I have pairs of all three and love them all for different things.

Not lightweight but the Soundcore 2 is a great speaker. I have two of them I run in stereo with my Fiio X1. Just enough bass to satisfy. They are crisp and clear with no distortion and loud enough to get the job don'e. I bought the silicone armor for them, they are well built and I can't complain for $27 each + the silicone armor which cost me around $12 each. Highly recommend. They are ipx7 and very well built, date I say rugged.. I work ay Costco and use them after closing. Many other people are playing huge loud speakers and I can still hear mine. 6 stars for the price.

I second this. I've had the Soundcore 2 at my office desk for about four years now and still works wonders. A couple office mates have the same speaker and have them connected to each other so we can listen together. Been using it basically every weekday for 8 hours for four years straight.

I wouldn't use it for any proper monitoring or mastering, but the Anker Soundcore 2 is a great value, has a 3.5mm stereo aux input, and decent sound. Very handy for using my SeqTrak, and much better than SeqTrak's terrible little speaker. Soundcore 3 is nicer, but sadly doesn't have the aux input.

The best part about this speaker is size and battery life. The battery is insanely good

The smaller ones are alright for a room (I have the soundcore 1 and 2), but nothing great. Maybe it's just my hearing being shot, but I'll grab my m18 2952-20 if I'm gonna bring a speaker in to work. It'll last a 12 hour day on an xc5 with no problem

I use the Anker Soundcore 2. Works great, and fits perfectly on the dash between defog tube and the windshield.

Weird, I just did a stereo test (YouTube) on my Soundcore 2, and it has stereo separation. Yes, some sound was bleeding through, but I think it's because of the size of the speaker.

Haven’t found one yet. Soundcore 2 has extremely strange fluctuating volume issues Bose Flex 2 is has too much trouble and sounds considerably worse than the Soundlink color 2, my favorite Bluetooth speaker to date. Why they changed the sound profile with the new one is beyond me. JBL Flip 6 also has too much treble and sounds tinny. I returned them all. The search continues

if you're open to something cheaper that still holds up, you should look at the Anker Soundcore (the basic one) it's usually around 30-50. It's definitely not in the same league as higher budget ones in terms of loudness or bass, but it’s actually clean for the price, and battery life is insane (like 24hrs). I’ve used it at the park and beach without issues. If you’re leaning toward premium though, maybe check out the Tribute StormBox Blast. kinda slept on, but people say it punches above its weight. I’ve been on the hunt for the best portable small speaker to pair with my POs and have ended up with a couple duds. Did some research and the best options for low latency seem to be the Marshall branded Bluetooth speakers and Minirig Bluetooth speakers. However, both being sort of pricey for this use case. Anyone have any recommendations? So far I’ve tried the JBL Go 2 and Anker Soundcore 2. Both were cheeks but for different reasons. JBL Go 2 has pretty low latency but the dsp effects volume in a weird way when hitting pads to record, play back, or test sounds. I almost thought my po33 gained velocity sensitivity out of no where 😂. Anker Soundcore 2 sounds much better but has pretty significant delay.
