I'm still rocking an anker soundcore from 2018 lol.
The smaller ones are alright for a room (I have the soundcore 1 and 2), but nothing great. Maybe it's just my hearing being shot, but I'll grab my m18 2952-20 if I'm gonna bring a speaker in to work. It'll last a 12 hour day on an xc5 with no problem
Bought an Anker soundcore 1 in 2018 and never had a single issue, don't know if they're still that good though
I had a Anker Soundcore 1 before, if you liked that, the [Earfun Uboom L](https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-EarFun-Portable-Waterproof-Dustproof/dp/B0B1PJ5SQ7) should be a nice upgrade for you.
Can't speak for Xiaomi, but the Soundcore is pretty good for the price, after you EQ it.
But what if i do treat it like shit? In my experience my jbl, my neighbors and my works have all shit the bed in 4 ish years. My rockbox xl has been thrown 50 feet into the ocean a dozen times, rolled a hundred yards down a trail when camping, suffered hours of grinding sparks and welding splatter, fell off a toolbox a hundred times, and traveled across 4 countries, works flawlessly after 5 years. What speaker can do this that has more bass and better quality than the rockbox? (About to make my own thread, but just incase you know....)
Not at all. Rockbox covered my garage, beach, backyard fine. Just the soundcore was so cheap I'd buy two for surround sound
I’ve been using the Anker soundcore. Good price and great audio quality.
Not entirely sure but if pop in anker soundcore on amazon you’ll find the portable speaker. It’s usually on a deal between 25-30
I have two of the soundcore speakers for stereo sound and they are awesome. Use them outside and on the beach and the screens have some rust on them but the sound is still great. Only had them 4 years and no problems.
My current shower speaker is on it's last legs and I need to replace it. Problem is that I can't find a single speaker out there with dedicated Next/Back buttons. This is a must-have for me, as I can't stand the double/triple click method. Any recommendations on decent speakers with this feature? Bonus points if it has USB-C charging, but I can overlook that for dedicated buttons.
Nope unfortunately after tons of research I learned this doesn't exist anymore and ended up just getting the Anker Soundcore which requires double clicks and such. Very sad
