I love b&o to death but the beo sound explore really lacks bass unlock every other product. Tbh I know little old lady’s in Denmark who the beo sound explore is perfect for but if you like bass I’d get a a1 or different model

The Nashville has great battery life, most open clear sound (front & back), and really small footprint when you stand it on its end. You can pair two for $200 in stereo and sound better then anything here by a good margin. Soundsb amazing in stereo! The Sony has a veil in the mids that is impossible to EQ out. Good bass though. The Beosound, like all B&O are extremely overpriced vs the competition me and reliability isn't great. Again, you can get 2 Nashvilles for the price of one Beosound ($200).

They're all relatively the same in volume because once you go above 75% volume the DSP wonks out and they become shouty due to the bass not being able to keep up. If you want a high volume box, you need to set your sights more on a boombox. And that "ranking" presented here, take it with a grain of salt because I disagree with it alot. Best thing you can do is to buy the ones you like and compare and then return the rest.

I have to say that, for as much as I love the Bose speakers I own, battery drain is far more noticeable than with other brands I own. My Bang & Olufsen speakers have the absolute least battery drain while idle; JBL is great for power retention, too.

You could use the rca outs to a headphone jack and use wired headphones. No pairing required. The soundburger works great and sounds great overall. It seems to pair ok if you hold the bluetooth speaker super close…I haven’t tried AirPods though. I don’t DJ anymore so I’m not out actively mining for gold, but a soundburger would have been handy for that. I used to see some people 30 years ago with junky suitcase players or fisher price set ups to listen on the fly.
