Pill (2024 Model)

Man there are so many options but currently my favorite speakers are the beats pill got em on sale for 49.99 theure much better than the flip 7 and bose 2 and Sony ult1... imo

I'd agree with you on that as far as sound goes... but thats only up to 60 percent volume... after that the flip 7 goes to shit... had it not id still have mine beats pill holds its sound much better than flip 7 up to those volume levels ... but also beats pill destroys it on battery life .. I mean absolutely smokes it on that and its convenient when ya need to take or make a phonecall.... I never thought id recommend a beats product but more I use them over the last few months since I got a pair of them I love em

I'd get the tronsmart fiitune x30 think jbl extreme 4 but better in every single way besides bein not quite as durable for mother nature but also a lot cheaper and absolutely smokes it for sound quality ... holds it bass all the way up to 100 percent volume I can't recommend it enough.... if ya want smaller than those size speakers id recommend a pair of beats pill speakers they smoke the flip 7 in having way better battery life can take or make calls with them and never thought id say it but they impress the hell outta me the more I use them ...

Hi, I have an Emberton 2 and it’s awesome although EQing on the streaming device makes it much better..people say the 2 is better than the 3 And many gonna hate me on this but the Beats Pill is a terrific speaker for all Jazz and chill music, although for other complex tracks genres I find it a must to pair two in stereo

I have the pill and it's at least 5 or 6 year's old, and it sounds great....

For reference I listen to alot of EDM, hardstyle, bass heavy stuff. I got a beats pill for christmas and I feel like it does a good job at low volume, not a lot of bass unfortunately really and when I crank it up, i can start to hear a little distortion. Would the JBL charge 6, be a better choice? Or would you recommend a different speaker?

Yeah these folks dont realize there's no other speaker with that same size that puts out the sub bass the beats does 

At that price, check out the Beats Pill. It's got a great battery and would be perfect for both of those scenarios. Over the summer it was my go to speaker for pool days at my apartment, plenty of bass and not overly loud that im getting noise complaints from neighbors lol

Imo the beats pill may not be the best for music listening but works great as a portable soundbar 👌

Hey, I have the same original release soundlink mini. Have always been so impressed with it, for what it is. The last year or 2 however, the battery is starting to die at moderate volume after only a short period. You can turn it straight back on and it’ll work again but will repeat this process. I ended up buying a new beats pill on sale half price (tossed up between jbl flip and beats pill), I was sold because of the price, battery life and ability to do lossless audio (maybe a little gimmicky considering the driver/speaker size/distortion at higher volume). And in all honesty, I still prefer the depth and sound of the Bose!

In that case, I’d recommend the Flip 7 over the Soundlink Flex based on features (better app, 7-band EQ, louder, Auracast, rugged). Beats Pill is decent but lacks the bass depth that the JBL and Bose has. The 2 passive woofers on the sides of the Flip 7 is a feature, not a bug 😅 It helps provide better bass and fuller sound, but yeah, you can see it vibrating.
