I use a Bose S1 pro (v1), paired with a DDJ-800 before I picked the an Omnis Duo this month. Both being battery powered with PA level sound, it’s a convenient/powerful combo. Prob could be found used in that price range (way better than any consumer Bluetooth speakers with 3.5mm inputs)
As a gigging musician who plays a lot of small events with 50-100 people, the S1 battery powered mini PA is actually excellent. It is about 12 lbs, can play for 4 hours, takes about 30 minutes to recharge, has 3 inputs, bluetooth, sounds fine, disperses well. The newer version sounds a bit better and has a very handy wireless connector, which I used last night to play inside and pipe the sound to a patio through a wall. I am not a fan of their "line array" PAs and the S1 does not have a lot of volume on tap, but for rather modest sound needs, it really is an amazing product that has a bunch of features that no one was putting in one product. What I do is pretty niche but damn this thing is handy. I hear the Everse is louder and has more bass but it's not essential for me.
Bose S1+ is what I bought that meets these requirements. It’s also very expensive. If you don’t need portability, then just get studio monitors like Yamaha HS5’s.
I have the link and the bigger S1 pro. They are fantastic
I use a portable, rechargeable Bose. The sound is amazing.
