"The bass isn't mind blowing but I was surprised for the size. ... Yes. I can hear the bass at low volumes. All frequencies are well produced."

"sounds considerably worse than the Soundlink color 2, my favorite Bluetooth speaker to date."
"Sounds great. ... this little bose unit sounds great to just chill with on the back porch, not loud enough for the neighbors to hear but it's able to reproduce great sound at moderate levels."

"Your gonna get better speakers cheaper than the bose, their just really greedy with their shit."
I also have a Color II, it was my first Bose Bluetooth speaker. It’s probably 5 years old. It sounds very good, not quite as good as the Flex series (I also have the original Flex, which is very good though a bit forward sounding at higher volume, probably due to the DSP kicking in to reduce bass output in order to reduce distortion. I think the Color II has a slightly warmer sound than the original Flex.
The Oontz Angle is surprisingly solid for its size. I like mine. Edit: I also have this [Bose](https://www.bose.com/p/all-speakers/soundlink-color-bluetooth-speaker-ii/SLCOLORII-SPEAKERWIRELESS.html) which sounds great, but isn't very loud
I’ve had that Bose for 12 years and it’s still going good. I also bring it on business trips
Tbh, Bose SoundLink Mini, Bose SoundLink Colour, Bose SoundLink Revolve and Bose SoundLink Flex all are the same. Just sounds slightly different.
Bro, I bought a pair of flex first. Loved Bose so much that got a Revolve 2 for my parents. Then got the Mini 2 SE for my cousins. Then also got the Colour 2. And I’ve tried all of them, loved their build quality and sound signature. Best in their class compared to any other brand. But amongst all these 4 generations of Bose speakers, they are the same. Though I love their evolving design language despite having using almost same audio components with slight changes to their arrangement. But all of them are the same. You may be feeling biased due to finally getting that nostalgia feeling from that specific speaker model.
Haven’t found one yet. Soundcore 2 has extremely strange fluctuating volume issues Bose Flex 2 is has too much trouble and sounds considerably worse than the Soundlink color 2, my favorite Bluetooth speaker to date. Why they changed the sound profile with the new one is beyond me. JBL Flip 6 also has too much treble and sounds tinny. I returned them all. The search continues
bose color 2 something or other. it's amazing. and they have a great warranty setup - mine died after maybe 18 months and they sent me a new one.
and i should clarify that it died bc of me. i abused it by keeping it in the bottom of my purse. and then dropped it in the tub.
My sound link colour just keeps on going had ug for years only thing that went bad was the charging lead which I replaced. Quite happy with the size and quality.
Dude yes. I have a standard Soundlink Color that I have been absolutely abusing almost daily for twelve years. Dropped so many times from several feel onto concrete and tile, soaked until dripping in shower condensation nearly every single day, brought camping and left out in the sun, rain, and frost, and rattled around truckbeds and canoe bottoms. Still sounds just as good as it did out of the box. Best gift I’ve ever been given.
I own a few different speakers bose and an older sony xb01 that one is garbage compared to bose. All my bose serve different purposes of listening. The soundlink micro is super small which is great when that's what you need. I have an old soundlink color, what I love about this one is the shape of it and its easy to use. Buttons are easy to find and I don't have to wrestle with it to use it. The flex is an awesome loud sound for large rooms and battery life is great but the shape is awkward. I heard a flip 5 the other day and I was impressed. What do you guys dislike about the flip?
Bose soundlink gen 2. Has a loop he can use to attach it with a carabiner :)
