I have the SoundLink III and the device randomly shuts off on me now. I thought it was just a bluetooth issue but was happening with aux even after trying to reset it.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->For mine, if I turn it back on within 30-40 seconds, it'll automatically shut back off. Then the volume resets to zero.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->[https://www.ebay.com/itm/146349937553?chn=ps&google\_free\_listing\_action=view\_item&gQT=2](https://www.ebay.com/itm/146349937553?chn=ps&google_free_listing_action=view_item&gQT=2) Get an older used model of a Bose Soundlink. I've had mine for years, it has a 3.5 mm jack in the back.
r/pocketoperators • Affordable low latency portable mini speakers to pair with Pocket Operators? ->I've been using a Bose SoundLink III for around a decade now. Obviously can't buy new anymore so marketplace is your only option. Amazing sound quality, gets quite loud, very easy to set up a connection and once that is done, the bluetooth connection is near instant once speaker is turned on. Very simple design and it's built well (it has even accidentally fallen to the bottom of my pool one time, pulled it out, kept playing and has had no issues). Battery is quite easily replaceable and each charge lasts for a while. Only good things to say about it. They seem to hold their value on the used marketplace though.
r/buyforlifetips • Whats the best Portable Bluetooth Speaker widely loved now? ->Mine is 11 years old. Still sounds good, and rugged. No idea how long the battery lasts though. Maybe 4 hours? Cost $300 back then. Just got a Sonos Move 2. Sounds much better, connects via WiFi, battery rated for 24 hours, and can charge a phone. Got it on sale for $330.
r/BuyItForLife • Bose Soundlink 3- Best Speaker ->Yeah I have a JBL Charge 3 that I've had since 2019, we used it as outdoor sound in a restaurant for 3 years, so was in use every day in that period. Just fixed the charging port that was getting worn out, but the battery is still strong. Also have a 10 year + Bose SoundLink 3 that I wheel out when I want quality sound, I'm using it sparingly as I know the battery can't last forever but the sound quality is soooo good.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->Same. I just turn it back on and it works but anyone know a fix for this?
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->Lol I’ve got a sound link 3 that’s also going strong. Amazing. I’ve really liked my wonderboom for a lightweight and easy one. Had it for around 6 years and works great.
r/buyforlifetips • Whats the best Portable Bluetooth Speaker widely loved now? ->I have had these speaker for ~12 to 13 years and can't reccomend it enough. The sound is still incredible, its super loud, and its very portable although I use it as a home stereo. It's taken a beating too and it still works, the only thing is that the bluetooth got persnickety but it works just fine. You can get them on ebay for what I feel is a great price. And theyre stylish!
r/BuyItForLife • Bose Soundlink 3- Best Speaker ->*I used a MiniDSP UMIK-2 measurement mic, and copied the EQ of the Bose Soundlink Flex 2 into a used Bose Soundlink III that I got on ebay.* *Now, the 10 year old Soundlink III, sounds as good as the Flex 2, except it is even better, because it is stereo, and has four drivers instead of one.* *The Max has two woofers and one tweeter, so it still sounds less good than Soundlink III if you EQ the Soundlink III.*
r/bose • The Bose Soundlink Flex is better than the Bose Soundlink Max ->We have one of those still going that is older than 2017. Not sure when we bought it, but have had it forever. Only travel speaker we take on our adventures.
r/BuyItForLife • Bose SoundLink bt speaker 2017 - best battery I have seen on any electronics ->Same here! My 2 soundlinks are still going strong and I even still have my sounddock from when I was young.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->Diggin my Bose Soundlink. Thin for portability. The bass isn't mind blowing but I was surprised for the size. Sounds great.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Portable Bluetooth Speakers in 2025 ->I do. for me. so I'm the guy who rarely listens to music around others. I don't like listening to others music especially out side, at a park or beach for example. so I don't listen to my music loud out of consideration. this little bose unit sounds great to just chill with on the back porch, not loud enough for the neighbors to hear but it's able to reproduce great sound at moderate levels. I like this flatter form over the round speakers, it will pack better. if it packs better the chance is higher it will go more places with me.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Portable Bluetooth Speakers in 2025 ->Yes. I can hear the bass at low volumes. All frequencies are well produced.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Portable Bluetooth Speakers in 2025 ->Using an old Bose sound link Bluetooth speaker when I need more sound that the mini provides.
r/macmini • Which speakers are you using? ->Bose soundlink is a good option. A little out of your price range, but worth checking out IMO.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Low to No Latency Budget $50-$100 Bluetooth Speakers? ->Yeah, I have the old soundlink and I have no issues with it. I can only imagine the new version is the same if not better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Low to No Latency Budget $50-$100 Bluetooth Speakers? ->I have a Bose soundlink and a soundlink mini and I think they’re both pushing 15 years. The mini has been drug all over golf courses and gotten wet countless times. The soundlink has been outdoors on patios or back porches everywhere I’ve lived that entire time
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->Flip 6 and Bose SoundLink are both excellent options, but for me personally, after owning both, I’ll go for the Bose. Deeper bass and clarity.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker Suggestion ->The woofer just blew on my 10 year old soundlink. I'm crushed.
r/buyforlifetips • Whats the best Portable Bluetooth Speaker widely loved now? ->I have both the JBL clip and Bose sound link. Both amazing, depending on need. If it’s staying around the house, sound link. On the move, beach, etc… JBL
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->Ah, when you said black and orange I immediately thought jbl. I have a jbl charge and the battery is amazing. My OG Bose soundlink? Still cranking after over 12 years.
r/BuyItForLife • Bose SoundLink bt speaker 2017 - best battery I have seen on any electronics ->The bose isnt bad at all. There plenty out there that actually sound bad. Also its the only thing i've no latency issues or connection issues. Every jbl i've had has had Bluetooth issues, latency, and broken on me. With bose i've never had a single peice of equipment fail on me since my first acoustimass back in the day
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What are the Best bluetooth speakers w/ Aux input? ->I agree as well. I dont experience any distortion at max volumes. Can vary on audio sample quality as well.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What are the Best bluetooth speakers w/ Aux input? ->I have a black and orange. They can be paired to make a super speaker. Easy to travel with and waterproof. Havent bought another speaker after this one! So good
r/BuyItForLife • Bose SoundLink bt speaker 2017 - best battery I have seen on any electronics ->Bose Soundlink hands down
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best portable Bluetooth speaker to Buy? ->I rocked a BOSE Soundlink for a decade as my portable speaker of choice. I totally bought BOSE sales pitch in the brochure that said the speaker would not produce needlessly exaggerated bass & was built for space filling clarity. Wonderful! Then I got a first generation MOVE & couldn’t believe what a measly sound experience I had been enduring. The BOSE soundlink series are NOT stereo speakers. They do not move enough air to produce any significant low-end tones. YES, you can crank it to full volume without distortion. But it still a mono, compressed Bluetooth signal. Have you ever sat a MOVE on a piece of wooden furniture outdoors? FORGETABOUTIT!!! The move sitting on my wooden stairs or patio ROCKS THE WHOLE FUCKING YARD. And the way it can hold on to my crappy over-crowded 2.4GHz wifi signal at ASTOUNDING distances from my house is downright mystical. My kids can be in the neighbours yard, outside, 200 feet from my router & still bark song requests at Alexa and IT WORKS!! Our Move has had the shit kicked out of it. It’s dented & scratched & has paint flaking off of it. It’s been left out overnight in the rain multiple times. Gets chlorinated pool water all over its control surfaces, weekly. But it still sounds AMAZING. And the battery life is still delightfully robust despite years of faithful service.
r/sonos • Why the SoundGuys complaints/review of the Move 2 is laughable (and questionably dishonest) ->Oh bose is no competition to the charge 5, crossover on the soundlink series is horrible and it made the speaker sound muddy. Your gonna get better speakers cheaper than the bose, their just really greedy with their shit. It just looks more premium, thats all.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Costco Deals ->I have to say that, for as much as I love the Bose speakers I own, battery drain is far more noticeable than with other brands I own. My Bang & Olufsen speakers have the absolute least battery drain while idle; JBL is great for power retention, too.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which wireless speaker best holds charge when not in use? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
