Bose - SoundLink Micro

Mine died after 8 years of near daily use. I almost placed an order for another Micro 1st version today until realising there's a 2nd gen in the works. Wonder when it'll launch in India, I'd grab the new one right away if I could 😪

I have the first gen of these and they are great. Sound quality is good, fairly durable, good battery life. I mostly use it at home but we take it with us on vacations.

I got two first Gen Bose micros for $53 a piece with tax. It was on clearance at Walmart. Nice sounding little speakers in stereo.

I use this one as well. Surprisingly powerful. Unfortunately mine is micro usb charging, but I still love it.

Huge disappointment - have the original for many years primarily strapped to the bike handle bar and taken on occasional camping trips. How am I supposed to answer a phone call during the ride? For something that is marketed towards the cyclists in as much of their promo photos, microphone removal was the stupidest decision ever. My original is still going, but battery capacity has declined and Micro-USB is annoying. Such a disappointment with the new release - I was hoping to buy two for stereo...

Yeah, have been looking out for it too. For once the fb algorithms delivered. My original is great. 

That's a lot of Taylor swift being played :) Such a great little speaker. Mine's about the same. Am sure it'll be out soon - keep an eye on the deals for the older model, then you'll know they're clearing stock.

I have a first generation that I won 7 years ago at a work thing. It's perfect. I've used it at cookouts, camping and my favorite is strapped to my belt while I do yardwork. It's even small enough to fit in a pocket. I even used it in the shower a few times since it's super water resistant.

I wanna know how it sounds compared to the original cuz i love how the original sounds. I like the warmer sound signature. Only bad thing about mine is that its falling apart and that its micro. If it sounds brighter that what eq should you use to get it to sound more like the original.

Me personally if the treble is more pernounced id say... put the tremble down like 4 steps then raise the bass 3 clips and the mids 2 clicks

I guess you prolly dont know what I mean but I dont blame you since you never had the first Gen but I love the way that speaker sounded. Not a guy that is SUPER cray about sound but if I have to sacrifice some clarity for bass I will.

Haven't read the reviews on it yet and we all know everyone hears things differently so 1 review can be completely different from another
