Devialet - Mania

Bose soundlink flex 2 has great bass for on the go. Especially for it's size. If you play with the eq in the bose app and put it in the corner. It sounds way bigger that it's size. Earfun Uboom X is also great. Its larger but almost the same price as the bose. The bass on it is fantastic. Devialet Mania is an wonderful sounding speaker. Big bass, great highs, and a big price haha 😉 Jbl flip 7 or charge 6 are great for outdoor usage.

I splurged for a devialet mania as I'm a fan of EDM/bass. If you ever get a chance to hear one check it out, price is almost as much of a shock as the bass it produces. Makes me smile 😊

I will not complain about my Devialet Mania. Are there speakers with better bass? Yes, but overall sound quality is really good for a speaker this size. But you'd have to spend some cash. The bass is still awesome though. It impresses everyone around.

I've got Devialet Mania and for this size, the sound quality is really good. I've got not that much to compare with though. Before I bought it I had read some articles claiming the sound is like heaven, hifi level. Well... even average shelf speakers for 200 USD are better than Mania. But compared to other portable speakers I've had the opportunity to listen to, Mania is amazing. It all depends on what you're looking for. If you want sth small but still very good, Mania is great. You don't care about the size and you can buy sth bigger? You should look for sth else. Mania is overpriced. Keep that in mind. I just felt in love with the way it looks, so I bought it. Strong 8/10 sound quality, even when playing very loud (and they can play REALLY loud). As I said, if Mania is the top level sound quality in portable speakers, as many claim, it means that portable speakers are far from wired speakers. I know it may look like I don't recommend this speaker. Nah, I really do if the price is not a problem. It's amazing for this size. I really doubt you can find sth better if you want to fit it in the backpack.

If you wanna hear bass drops with mid and upper elements too from like space laces, hol, ydg the heavy sub 30hz drops: Harmon kardon onyx series for low priced. But if theres no constraints, the devialet mania will have the best bass you are looking for and clarity. B and O A1 is pretty good too but you’ll prolly wanna run a pair. All the jbls megaboom, the regular mainstream brands all run rly muddy bass that bleeds into the mids. Like at lost lands the soundcamp speakers, kinda mid for the vocals and trebles but u feel the wubs

I really don't like the beolit 20. I like the sound of my Vifa Helsinki much more even though it's an older speaker and a lot cheaper now. Check some B&O a1 series,each one has a different sound type,for small portable bt speakers For medium size, Devialet Mania,a reboxed unit was around 500€ in my country just recently. 500 or under it's a good price,not the 800-900€ or how much they ask for it on most sites. For bigger sizes, i dont think you have many options,in a reasonable amount of money. The b&o a5 but it can get quite expensive sometimes. *I wouldn't call these audiophile speakers, high quality Bluetooth speakers would be a more suited name.
