It is tough but man it chews through batteries. Maybe 15-20hours of run time on a fresh 6AH flexvokt which feels not great

Two 10-12 hour days and the battery is toast. I’m just griping bc my job uses red so I don’t always have an extra yellow battery with me to swap

Yes I have the cord but I work on wind turbines and am usually in a bucket lift or hanging from ropes. It’s not quite that simple

I don't know what you're talking about. I have the same thing and it's great for what i do. Yeah it's not Sony or JBL speakers, it's a jobs site speaker. It's meant to be rugged, durable and portable, it's not intended to perform the best. It's meant to get the job done and it's job is to blast whatever you listen to.

And not for nothing, you're comparing a sub-$100 speaker to a speaker in the background that costs upwards of $500+ so the comparison isn't really fair.

I think it depends on what you’re using it for. Obviously not buying a Dewalt stereo for high end audio quality, but it’s perfect for around the back yard or a tailgate. tough and can charge my phone all while lasting forever on a 2ah battery

I love mine. Connects instantly sounds good enough. Long battery life.

I hope you not comparing it to that JBl lol. Dewalt does its job while working around. I’ve had mines for a few years and I love it. Plus’s it’s a bit and phone holder for starters.

I have this and absolutely love it while camping, 1 6amp battery and it lasts the whole weekend and then some while keeping my phone charged. I also use it when working in the garage and on trips to the beach.

I love mine! I scored a pretty decent EQ app for my phone and it greatly improves audio quality. I've had a Bluetooth speaker where the battery shit the bed and It was basically worthless to service it for a replacement battery. I already had the DeWalt tools line so this was a no brainer. Small enough to tote around and most of my work is solo. I've used it to watch movies on my laptop (on the road lodging) and it works so much better than those tiny laptop speakers. There's no unserviceable battery. It's got a line input for non Bluetooth devices that have a output jack. I was going to buy it for myself but a neighbor I've helped out bought it for me! Every time I use it I feel the xtra love! I put some tape on that big blue pilot light bar in the front. In fact I think I'll get inside and mod the LED for less current draw and get some extended run time. Real great product for it's intended purpose.

Yah it won’t appeal to the audiophiles out there. But it sounds good, it’s loud, it’s tough, it’s compact, it pairs perfectly every time and last forever on a small battery. I’ve been very happy with mine.

I keep mine on a shelf at eye level with my workbench when I need YouTube assist on something I’m working on. Can’t beat that holder in the handle.

I love mine. I use it all over, it's great to take to the skatepark, and conveniently runs off of my tool batteries.

We have more than one. They take abuse pretty well. Has been left in the rain. Has been dropped from attic. Has been dropped from truck bed. None of the other Work type speakers have lasted more than a few months for us. Going on a year and a half on ours. Sound as good as new. No rattles or loose parts inside. There are better sounding work type speakers out there. But this small one is tough and just fine.

Place it in a corner facing the room diagonally and it sounds much better. It's unfair to expect it to compare to something like a JBL charge (which I also have), but nothing beats that thing running all day on 1 bar of a 5Ah battery.

I wish it had the am fm tuner and I would get one

I have a bigger radio But just wanted a smaller one . At work I have used the small one but I can kinky listen to my play list in my phone so manny times per day or week that the radio feature would have made it better some days

It's ok. Audio is not great like a JBL but for what it is it works great. I wish the USB charging was faster also. It was difficult to pass up at Lowe's for 99 bucks with a battery and charger.
