Yes, that's pretty obvious but they're probably still the best options. Only thing that could be better than that is BT speakers with 9 band eq's since you can make them sound however you want. Like, i have a lot of speakers, but my most preferred ones are the Earfun Uboom L and Soundcore motion+ because they have 10 and 9 band eq's. Obviously the hardware needs to be on point too, but that's the best audio you could get, AND the Soundcore also has a hi-res códec.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Why do people always recommend plastic Bluetooth speakers? ->Yeah the Bose max is 100 times better and the EQ does work well because it only affects the low and mid bass so you cannot make it sound muddy in any way. If you need a recommendation for the size, it might sound surprising but the Earfun Uboom L is the absolute best small speaker i've ever heard/seen. I'm a EQ nerd so the 10 band equalizer along with the outdoor button that expands the soundstage a lot (wich is something i care a lot on speakers) is a W. I have like 15 custom eq's saved, and to make the comparison, i've had 2 JBL Charge 5's and a JBL flip 6, and the Earfun sounds as bassy and loud as the Charge 5 while being exactly the same size of the ULT Field 1, none of the three can compare.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Beats Pill 2024 vs JBL flip 6 vs Sony Ult field 1 vs Bose sound link flex ->No problem, and yeah though it is technically true that if you use it at 50% volume it could last you 12 hours, a speaker that sounds so good just makes you want to crank up that volume! If you want any opinions/recommendations though, right now my favourite and the one that i'm gonna stay with is the Earfun Uboom L (i've had Soundcore motion 300, JBL flip 6, Sony ULT Field 1, Soundcore Motion+, JBL Charge 5, etc). You might be surprised, but that single 10 band equalizer is what makes it so good, because you can have the clarity and brightness of the Flip 6 while having the strong deep bass of the Ult Field 1. Just to compare, it goes deeper and way louder than the ULT Field 1, and i think that on indoor Mode it has a deeper bass than the Charge 5, while in outdoor mode it gives an amazing party soundstage, and i also think that it goes the same loudness of the Charge 5, at least with high volume equalizers. The battery life is a bit better than the Sony too!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Sony Ult Field 1 has deeper bass than JBL Charge 5 ->How long ago was that published? His coupon code for the UBoom L doesn't work for me. I have the UBiom L and would love a second one.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Oluv's (Audiophile Housewife's) best Bluetooth portable speakers of 2025 ->Soundcore 2? I have two of them and they don't thump and aren't loud. They are great speakers but aren't beasts. My pair of Uboom L's are great and loud though..
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker under 100$? Something I can hear and feel the bass of outside? And something loud! ->You can get two Uboom L's for $100. In after pairing mode they kick ass. Good bass and loud. Love mine..
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker under 100$? Something I can hear and feel the bass of outside? And something loud! ->100% don't agree. They are far from trash. Have you heard a pair of them in person?
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker under 100$? Something I can hear and feel the bass of outside? And something loud! ->Earfun Uboom L has a low latency mode. Works very well for me, but you can’t eliminate latency completely, so doing like music production/recording work won’t work.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Low to No Latency Budget $50-$100 Bluetooth Speakers? ->Sure! There's the Earfun Uboom L if you want some serious listening. It's not exactly neutral as it has a slight high airy treble boost, but it's suuuper well-tuned. Bass can be slightly soft to some people, but I think that's how a clean neutral bass should be anyway. For a more fun sound, hmm I'm not really sure there's quite a few. The Charge 5 has really nice bass for its size, I heard the Soundcore Boom 2 is really good as well (but I haven't heard it in person), the Harman Kardon speakers pretty nice too (Onyx line for the crazy sub-bass and the Go+Plays for a more balanced tuning). I also own a Motion Boom which is really really affordable. However, opposing to wide-spread belief, I find it to have some really annoying mid or upper treble peak idk which I can't seem to get rid of with the in-app EQ. I feel like only if they had given it a fabric grill it would sound awesome. Regardless, it's capable of playing some crazy deep bass though, probably better than the JBL Xtremes (which seems to just be physically bigger and more powerful)!!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker for pure sound quality ->if you are skilled enough to install a software on your pc, transfer the new OS version via usb cable to the speaker and apply the equalizer in the app, i would absolutely instantly recommend the earfun uboom L! got mine with a 30% welcome discount for around 58€ shipping included to austria. if you rather not do all that, its not that much of a banger but still decent for the pricepoint to be fair.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker with very crisp sound under $100? ->Why no earfun uboom l? I actually just recieved my Earfun and it seems fine? It shipped with 1.2.7 firmware out of the box and I put Oluv's tuning through the app. It's working good for me. Why do you have such an issue with it? I researched it for 2 weeks online before ordering it. The bass seems good. Boss is 10K on Amazon. Earfun I ordered at half the price at 5.3K with discount. It's a good price to value deal isn't it?
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker Suggestion ->I love my EarFun “uboomL”. It’s one of the top recommended portable Bluetooth speakers on r/bluetooth_speakers. There is a pinned post buying guide wiki , and in there, there is a discount code to get it for like $60 bucks. Been bumping it my kitchen for a year. Did recently have an issue with charging, but I emailed EarFun and they sent me a new one 2 days later 🤷♂️
r/KitchenConfidential • Kitchen Bluetooth Speaker Recommendations? ->For me, the code reduced the price to $54.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Oluv's (Audiophile Housewife's) best Bluetooth portable speakers of 2025 ->[https://www.myearfun.com/speakers/earfun-uboom-l-portable-waterproof-bluetooth-speakers-black](https://www.myearfun.com/speakers/earfun-uboom-l-portable-waterproof-bluetooth-speakers-black) Oluvs code is not valid on Amazon, but on the manufacturer's website. But the deal Obvious-Bird-3588 was talking about seems to be even better.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Oluv's (Audiophile Housewife's) best Bluetooth portable speakers of 2025 ->Take a look at the UBOOM X, in terms of performance it is far superior to a JBL Charge 5 or a UE Boom 3, and unlike the JBL PartyBoxes it is IP67 dust and water protected. And for less than $250 you can even buy two and use both in TWS mode depending on your application. This could be a really interesting speaker for your needs.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the best wireless bluetooth speaker? (outdoor & paties) ->It's about time those nasty rabble-rousers who have been calling everyone a shill or bot who has spoken positively about or recommended the UBOOM X finally acknowledge it's a truly great speaker. This is being confirmed by more and more people here in the subreddit, including myself.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best boombox speaker ->The UBOOM X is a highly interesting option. It is slightly smaller and lighter than the Blast and has dynamic EQs with a neutral sound profile, also optimized for listening to music at low volumes. It even significantly outperforms the Boom 2 in terms of bass performance and is highly attractive in terms of its price. [UBOOM X](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/1flfoj1/a_uboom_x_secret_that_ive_been_hiding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the most balanced sub $200 Bluetooth speaker? ->Exactly!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the most balanced sub $200 Bluetooth speaker? ->I've just watched the video. It doesn't really help much yet, although it does help a little. I guess the more I get to see of the Blast 2, the happier I'll be about my UBOOM X. 😂
r/WirelessSpeakers • Alan Ross's first impressions of the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2, not so good ->This review covers these three models paired in TWS mode: * 2x Earfun UBOOM L ($50 each) * 2x Earfun UBOOM X ($118 each) * 2x Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 (usually $250-$350 each, got them on sale for $128) All have impressive clarity and soundstage when in TWS mode but obviously the UBOOM X and Harman are in a different class than the smaller/cheaper UBOOM L (was initially comparing two UBOOM Ls to one UBOOM X, then ordered a second UBOOM X and had TWS stutter issues, then got the Harmans). # Pros common to UBOOM L and X * iOS and Android app (speaker info, battery status, firmware updates, EQ and other customizations, etc.) * Excellent battery life * USB-C charging * Ruggedized and IP67 waterproof * Regularly available at lower prices than the competition # Cons common to UBOOM L and X * Off-axis sound quality is mediocre. # UBOOM L Pros * Small and light enough for travelling or tossing in a bag * Inexpensive # UBOOM L Cons * Not as much bass and limited volume (to be expected since the other speakers are \~7 times bigger) # UBOOM X Pros * More immersive sound than UBOOM L * Many EQ profiles * Shape, handle, and strap make it somewhat easy to move around for its size/weight * Lighting effects * Huge battery (60 Wh) # UBOOM X Cons * Hefty for traveling, especially if using a pair * When using an EQ (Oluv or custom) while in TWS mode, audio drops intermittently and sometimes frequently (might happen 5 times in 5 minutes, might not happen for hours). Don't have this problem with the other speakers in TWS (edit: this is a known issue; explanation from Earfun [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth_Speakers/comments/1htkbxi/comment/m5g0p77/)). # Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 Pros * The best audio quality of all of them * Sounds significantly better off-axis than the UBOOMs. * Though TWS mode is the way to go, a single Go + Play 3 still sounds quite good (while the sound quality of a single UBOOM L or X isn't as impressive). * Upscale aesthetics and clean look * Glass surface with touch-buttons (also a con) # Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 Cons * Normally expensive * Slightly heavier than the UBOOM X * Awkward shape and handle * No app (there is an EQ available via button combinations, though the Harman sounds excellent with the default profile) * Gotta pair in stereo mode every time they're turned on (a minor complaint as it only takes seconds, but don't have to do this with the Earfuns). * Lacks IP67 waterproof rating and isn't ruggedized like the Earfuns. Downward facing sub doesn’t have any protection beyond being recessed (they're meant to be used on a flat surface). * Fabric cover attracts dust/hair and won't be as easy to clean. * Touch-buttons are difficult to see/use in the dark. * Doesn't charge over USB-C (but at least there's no transformer and it uses a standard non-polarized C7 Figure 8 PC cable). * Smaller battery (26 Wh) # Conclusion * Returned the UBOOM Xs. The TWS stuttering issue means no custom/Oluv EQ, which results in sound quality that isn’t nearly as satisfying. * Kept the UBOOM Ls for work and travel. They're very portable, and sound great in a small quiet space when pointed right at you. * Kept the Harmans for use around the house, porch, and backyard. They can't touch my Denon Polk hi-fi setup, but they're still very enjoyable, and being *somewhat* portable makes them far more useful (though they aren't suitable for many situations given the lack of ruggedization or IP67). Edit: Cleaned up wording, added a few details, linked to Earfun's explanation about TWS stutter.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Review: Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 vs Earfun UBOOM X vs UBOOM L ->Thanks for posting. Very interesting details! I bought two Earfun UBOOM X speakers last fall and very much enjoyed their sound when using your profiles. I returned them because of sound drops when paired in TWS mode (a known issue), but I was impressed with the responsiveness of Earfun support when I was troubleshooting the issue, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the UBOOM X to anyone who doesn't intend to use two of them in TWS mode. (I also have two UBOOM L speakers, which sound impressive given their size and inexpensive price)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoom X and my part ->Your typical listening level is also an important datapoint since speakers often sound best at a particular volume. I believe 3 of the 4 you mentioned will rapidly cut bass at about 70-80% volume to achieve max dBs. I mean yeah it's loud, but for me unlistenable. My understanding is the Soundlink Flex is good at trying to hang onto its sound signature as volume increases, but as a consequence will not get as loud. Yes it's a tradeoff since there's no free lunch. I purchased several speakers to comparatively listen. Aesthetics were also part of my consideration, so I didn't try any speakers with styling that didn't appeal to me (for example JBL or anything with flashing lights). I also have less than positive feelings towards brands that seem to be regularly tweaking the firmware to "improve" the sound. For me, the Bose Soundlink Flex 2 was my preference. I personally found the Earfun Uboom L to be one of my least favorites. The others I tried were the Tribit Stormbox Pro and Soundcore Motion Plus. What you prefer is completely subjective and no one can tell you what you will like "best". If you're happy with your current JBL, I expect you'll be happy with the Flip 6. Maybe start with that and optionally select 1 or 2 others for comparison. That may reinforce your choice for the Flip 6 or discover one you like even better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker Suggestion ->U boom L with OLuv firmware sounds really good...
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which speaker to choose? ->Earfun Uboom L , unbeatable value if with firmware 1.2.7.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker Suggestion ->The uboomL 0.5.0 and 0.4.x version difference is sky and dirt, really recommend you find a way to update to current 1.2.6 version
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker with very crisp sound under $100? ->I can see your point, when I place it on my small table my Uboom L always tend to sound muffle because of the close and lower placement, added with the bass reflection of the wall behind. The latency is the biggest reason stopping me using this as a PC speaker, the Uboom L is working good when I put it in my living room table and it can play some really nice music, but since I already got Uboom X for living room now I see no point in using the Uboom L.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->Uboom L is the only one I would use to listen to music. Needas a firmware downgrade, but easy thing to do. I have a +$20k speaker system and still the Uboom L is a pleasant listen while Tribits, JBLs etc I've heard I'd use for podcasts at most, but there might be good EQ presets for those as well.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker with very crisp sound under $100? ->I got a Uboom X coming as well, but my only worry is EarFun might scam Oluv and his viewers with differences between his test units and the sold ones. Unlikely, but I don't like the company. Uboom L was so damn nice and it took 5min to sell my Tribit Blast as it sounded so baf in comparison. For the price etc I doubt the Uboom X won't be value.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best upcoming bluetooth boombox (Earfun, Tribit, Soundcore) ->these are all worth their weight in gold: $150 on Amazon - TriBit Stormbox Blast $140 on Amazon ($70/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion Boom $138 on Amazon ($69/ea) - 2x Anker Soundcore Motion+ $112 on Amazon ($56/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion 300's $107 on Amazon - Soundcore Motion Boom Plus $100 on Amazon ($50/ea) - 2x Earfun UBOOM L i personally own the TriBit, the Soundcore Motion+, the Earfuns, and I also was able to score a Harman Kardon Onyx 7 for $130 which is right in your price range. I love all of these speakers a lot, but the Harman Kardon has the best bass for the kind of music that I listen to.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Looking for the best speaker at the 100-150$ price range ->(For context, my previous speaker was an Anker Soundcore 2. I frequently switch between Aux-cable and bluetooth.) It's updated to the latest firmware (so it works with the Earfun app). Set to the standard Oluv Indoor/Outdoor mode. (no custom EQ set). ---------------------- Okay, so I've been using this speaker for a couple of months now. I want to talk about the sound quality first. So, it does sound *really* good, like you've probably seen people say here. When you've got it pointed at you, the clarity and fullness seems excellent for a speaker this size. My previous speaker was a Soundcore 2, which is a good bit smaller but sounded great in its own right. This is definitely a large improvement in sound from that, **sometimes**. I say sometimes, because I imagine this has to be one of the most directional consumer-grade speakers that exists. (I've seen debate over the acoustic qualities of this speaker. There was some mild outrage over [RTing's middling review of the sound](https://www.rtings.com/speaker/reviews/earfun/uboom-l#test_4548) compared to what [other enthusiasts have measured](https://www.diysubwoofers.org/projects/other/BT/UBoomL/). I wish RTings would do a retest on the lastest firmware, because if the "Default" EQ preset is what was loaded on 0.5, that is a *very* opinionated sound.) This speaker sounds great, **if you can get it pointed directly at the listeners' heads**. It starts to sound muffled and "off" very quickly. We usually use the speaker sitting in bed, with the speaker either on the bed, or placed on the wall with magnets. Because of the triangular shape, it's nearly impossible to keep it in the sweet spot. I'm constantly fiddling with its positioning to get it right. It sounds *fine* when not directly facing, but it isn't going to wow you. I find myself preferring outdoor mode if I'm listening while moving around the room. It would probably be great on a desk... but that's not what a portable speaker is for. ------------------------------ Okay, so the praise over its sound is warranted in some ways, but it's so frustrating to get that sound that I can't give it full credit. What I don't see others talking about so much is the rest of the experience, and that's where this thing really shows its flaws. 1. The system boops and beeps. If you've ever used a cheapo-deepo generic speaker (or a Soundcore 1), you'll be familiar with these. If you're listening to something incredible quiet and trying to pump the volume past max, it gives a **MAX VOLUME SHRILL BEEP** that is so damn startling. Be ready to play "volume chicken", or make sure the source device has its volume maxed before you plug in the Uboom L. (When researching before buying, I saw you can turn these off in the app. You definitely cannot.) 2. The control buttons are relatively small and the iconography is both cryptic and hard to recognize by touch alone. My wife won't even attempt to adjust the volume on it, especially if the lights are out. 3. Why is low-latency mode tied to a double-tap of bluetooth? The indoor/outdoor button has no other function on double-tap, would be more intuitive, and less risk of disconnecting the bluetooth when you're just trying to turn off low-latency (which needs to be turned off for volume control to work consistently on my Pixel 7). 3. The AUX cable has to be removed entirely for bluetooth to take over. Tbh this isn't terrible behavior, except for... 4. The placement of the cable port right next to the rubber flapper's hinge. And the aux port is *tight*, leading to serious finger gymnastics to remove my cable without putting excess stress on it. This leads me to... 5. The rubber seal has no good grip to pull it out, and it is SO ridiculously tight. After fighting with it a few times, I just gave up on pushing it closed. I have half a mind to just cut it off entirely. 6. The placement of the ports is slanted downwards in the back, which means AUX and chargers are always practically holding the thing up. More unnecessary cable stress. 7. This is the one that made me write this in the first place. One night, I left it unplugged and playing overnight for pink noise. Didn't think about it again until I wanted to turn it on the next night. No big, I'll just put it charging and turn it on. Nope. It turns on, about 5 seconds later a little chirpy girl voice says "battery low" and it turns itself off again. No big, I'll give it a few more minutes. Nope. It did this over 4 different tries over 15 minutes. I know the speaker doesn't use more power than the charger is providing. This particular behavior is absurd. -------------------------- All of these are fairly minor issues, but taken together I find I'm *always* having to think about the speaker, it never is able to just get out of the way and be a seamless experience. This many poor design choices gives the whole thing a cheap vibe that I'm resenting more as time goes on. Death by a thousand cuts. Does it sound really good? Yes, it does... sometimes. But I would pay a little more, or sacrifice some sound quality to have a speaker that wasn't so damn finicky. PS: Anker? Would you please make another budget Soundcore with an AUX port and USB-C?
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->Yeah, I was hoping the new shipments would have the latest version preinstalled, but it does not. The app support does resolve the constant "you should be on 0.48 not 0.50" nonsense, since you can just change presets in the app. I'm assuming the one labeled "default" (but isn't actually default) is the .50 sound that people dislike. It's a very biased sound, and normal people would probably prefer it tbh.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->Thanks for the heads up. I think I've read other people mention the same thing at least on 3 other occasions about range between the two not being great. 6 feet is decent but kinda sucks if you want to put it on two separate ends of a room to fill it with sound. I'm still on the fence and want these. I did end up with two uboom L at $60 each. I am happy with them but the aesthetic of these Mitchell acoustics is pretty neat. And if they deliver decent sound might still be worth considering.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Mitchell Acoustics uStream Go review ->I have both the motion 300 and Earfun Uboom L (2 of them) and enjoy both of them. I have not used the tribit. But I totally agree they should all have the ability to reverse charge. The other two don't. Totally a missed opportunity.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the best bluetooth speaker for 60$? ->In addition to the speakers mentioned in the other comments, i can now confirm that the Tribit Xsound Plus 2 also has settings in the Tribit mobile app that can permanently disable all sounds (the speaker remembers the settings) ... I imagine all Tribit speakers that are supported by the Tribit mobile app can have sounds disabled. I ordered the Tribit as well for testing, mostly because it has a much longer battery life and a handy EQ switch button to quickly switch between modes. Also has a fresh new firmware but no idea if that makes it more neutral or not. This Tribit speaker looks and sounds pretty great so far. I like that the mini subwoofer is in the back, so it can be placed near a wall for added oomph without compromising the rest of the sound spectrum. I also ordered the Earfun UBoom L, Anker Soundcore Motion+, Anker Soundcore Boost -- yet to test
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Any decent portable BT speaker that doesn't make (loud) noises when it's powered on/off or connected/disconnected? ->That's a very useful ranking and aggregated set of info -- many thanks for doing it! I was interested in the Earfun UBoom L (has better battery life too) ... I take it it that power/connection sounds can't be disabled on this one, right? Are those sounds at least low volume to not wake a baby up, or bring the undead back to life like some other BT speakers out there?
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Any decent portable BT speaker that doesn't make (loud) noises when it's powered on/off or connected/disconnected? ->I collect small bluetooth speakers. Over the years i keep trying new brands. I'm impressed with the Tribit XSound Plus 2 and even better for its great low price and 24H battery which there isn't many with that high battery. Clean sound and bass and the bass boost really thumps. It also has aux which is why I was looking around for a smaller speaker with aux because there isn't many besides the UBoom L which i also have but I also have a bunch of Soundcore like the Mini 3 and Motion 300 but theres no aux. I'm also looking to add the Tribit StormBox 2 which is another small speaker from them and it also has aux but it looks more durable and for travel and outdoor. From other brands those more durable and outdoor ones are made for travel and party uses are more bass focused and not as clean audio so have to compare but right now XSound Plus 2 I'm impressed.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->300 is great. Sounds as good to me as my Uboom L, Flip 6 or Motion Plus did, but lays flat which helps in a golf cart. I prefer the flat shape for packing and for the ability to lay flat in a golf cart, on a bed, etc. All of the above have very good sound for their respective size category…at the point when I’m splitting hairs over sound, shape, features and app become more important tie breakers.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Motion 300 vs Earfun Uboom L (Review) ->I recently bought Uboom L from the official site and it has the 1.2.7 firmware pre-installed. In the app you can switch to Oluvs EQ settings. For me the sound is almost identical to my older speaker with 0.4.3.
r/WirelessSpeakers • LIGHTEST/SMALLEST and BEST SOUNDING speaker for indoor/airbnb travel? ->The smaller the speaker, the less bass you'll get. U Boom L and Soundcore Motion+ is the smallest I'd go. You could try 0.5.0 on the Uboom, it's supposed to be more bass oriented, but will muddy up the mids and highs. Maybe perfect for you, if you find it to harsh.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->I agree with the other replies that two speakers are better than one. It depends on how big you are willing to carry around. My favorite that I've settled on is the Soundcore Boom 2. Although it is slightly larger than my idea size for a portable speaker, the handle makes it easy to move around. In my opinion it is just about the perfect balance of size, clarity, and bass for a portable speaker. It has great sound and great bass (even outside). It just won't fit in a small spot. For a smaller speaker, I would recommend the Earfun Uboom L or the Soundcore Motion 300 or the Bose Soundlink Flex. Again, a pair of these in stereo will get the best most room filling sound. All of these are small and easy to carry and easy to place anywhere. If you just want one speaker, I would recommend the Tribit Stormbox Blast or the Earfun Uboom X. They both sound great, with full sound, clarity, and deep bass. But they are huge! Probably not easily carried from room to room, but that that is your decision to make. The Soundcore Boom 2 would be good as a single speaker too, with a smaller size, but it won't sound quite as good as these other two.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Budget indoor speakers with great sound quality ->I have been a fanboy for the Earfun Uboom L since I bought two of them last September. I've been using them ever since mostly in TWS mode for stereo listening. I've been really happy with them, they sound great, but I keep seeing all these new speakers coming out and I can't help but wonder if there is something better out there. The biggest competitor for me is the Soundcore Motion 300 as it is a similar size, is #2 on the speaker rankings list and it is supposed to have more low bass than the Uboom L (50hz compared to 56hz). I finally bought one and I've spent the last couple of days comparing the two inside and outside with a variety of genres of music and at different volume levels. I am really impressed with the 300. At this time, I can't pick one over the other. Once the EQ is adjusted on the Motion 300, the two speakers sound very similar. I tried Oluv's Uboom L copycat EQ, but didn't find it that comparable, maybe because I always use my Uboom L in outdoor mode. My EQ settings for the 300 are: (+5,+1,0,0,+1,+2,+3,+5,+6). To my ears, this was comparable to the Uboom L in outdoor mode, but I am not an audiophile or music professional. I think my EQ settings make sense when comparing to the [frequency response graph from rtings](https://www.rtings.com/speaker/0-8/graph/4553/frequency-response-graph/anker-soundcore-motion-300/45848). In general, I found both to be detailed and clear, but in different ways. **The Uboom L was more open and airy, but at the same time smooth. The Motion 300 was tighter and had a fuller sound.** I felt like I could hear more of the frequency spectrum (fuller sound) with the 300, but the Uboom felt like at most times it had better separation. At other times, the 300 sounded like it had better spatial distribution of sound. Vocals seem very forward on the Uboom, everything is more evenly spread on the 300. Again, **it's hard for me to pick a winner, because on some songs the Uboom sounded better, but on others the 300 sounded better.** The bass on both is great. I will say that the 300 has deeper overall bass, which becomes more apparent on some songs, but the Uboom is very close (closer than I thought) and has a way of resonating better and smoother. On some songs, the Uboom L sounded like it had the deeper bass. One thing I love the most about the Uboom is that is maintains good bass even at low volumes levels. I tested it against the Motion + and the Motion Boom last year and the Uboom had much better bass at low volumes. However, **the 300 is just as good and maybe even better than the Uboom at maintaining bass at low levels (using my EQ). Plus I think it sounded clearer than the Uboom at low volumes.** I felt like Jazz, synthwave, and lofi sounded better on the 300. Acoustic guitar sounded slightly better on the 300, though the Uboom L picked up more details like the picking and strumming of guitar strings. Indie, alternative, and rock sounded better on the Uboom L. Now that I know the 300 is a very good speaker, I will need to purchase another to listen to them paired in stereo. At this point, in my mind they are tied with each having their own superior qualities. I will listen to both over the next month or so and see which one I ended up using more.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Motion 300 vs Earfun Uboom L (Review) ->OP here. I wanted to add that after some more testing I noticed something important about the bass. Although the bass on the 300 is deeper, it DOES NOT PROJECT OVER A DISTANCE. This is true inside, but especially outside. I was testing from a distance of about 15' and the bass on the 300 was WAY quieter than the UBL. The 300 EQ was set to +6dB on the lowest slider and the UBL was in outdoor mode. The bass just projects and resonates better on the UBL. Detail is similar. Over a distance, the UBL projects better detail than the 300. At close listening (around 3') they sound more similar in bass and detail. I've decided to return the 300. It is a REALLY nice speaker, but it just isn't better than the UBL. I don't need two different speakers for the same situations.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Motion 300 vs Earfun Uboom L (Review) ->I've been using the Earfun Uboom L for a long while now for ALL of my bluetooth speaker needs (work desk, on the deck, around the fire, camping, in the garage, etc.). I really love the speaker, especially when paired with another in TWS. However, **I have been looking for something with a little more bass and fullness, especially when outdoors. I really value clarity, fullness, bass, and neutrality, in that order.** After some research on this subreddit, **I decided to try the Soundcore Boom 2**. I saw a video on youtube comparing the Boom 2 to the Boom 2 SE (Walmart's version of the Boom 2). **For those of you that don't know, the Boom 2 SE has two 2.76" full range drivers, where the regular Boom 2 has one 3.54" x 4.72" racetrack woofer and two .79" tweeters.** In the video, both speakers sounded good, with the Boom 2 having more bass, but also sounding a little muddy (loss of detail due to the loud bass). I decided to purchase the SE, which I got from Walmart for $79. The SE arrived and I compared it to my Uboom L. Inside and outside, near and far, with all different types of music (mainly jazz, lofi, synth, acoustic, and rock). **I will say that the SE sounded better than the Uboom L for the most part.** The bass was better, it was fuller, and clarity was similar. It was decent at low volumes (which is how I listen to music most of the time), but the Uboom L is king at ultra low volume (10-20%)! **One thing about the SE though, is that it kind of sounded like the music was coming from inside of the speaker.** I know that sounds silly, because of course it is coming from inside the speaker, but one of the best things about the Uboom L is that it sounds really open and airy like the music is coming from the air rather than from the speaker itself. I really love that quality. I also tried the Soundcore Motion 300 against the Uboom L too and although it sounded really good (more bass, fuller), it also wasn't as open and airy. So after testing, I decided to keep the SE for outdoor use as it seemed better for those needs. But....I was just too curious to know what the regular Boom 2 sounded like. Was it better? I had to be sure I picked the right one. So I bought the regular Boom 2 off Amazon for $99. It arrived and I tested it against the SE (inside/outside, near/far, etc.) and **WOW, the regular Boom 2 is so much better.** Yes it's bass is boomy, but you can adjust the EQ to tame that down. Once it is tamed down, **it is actually a really clear sounding speaker with great bass** (just what I was looking for!). And another great thing, **it actually sounds open and airy, like the music is NOT coming from a box.** I'm also really happy with the form factor. It's not too big. I tried the Uboom X as well, which sounded GREAT, but it was just too big for my needs. The Boom 2 is between the Uboom L and the Uboom X in size. Plus the flat rectangular box shape works well for laying it flat (like the Motion 300 or Bose Flex) for more of a 360 sound (though it needs a LOT of adjustment to make the sound OK in that orientation, and even then, it doesn't sound super). **It's actually a pretty directional speaker that does not sound as well off axis or in this upward orientation.** I'm really happy with it so far (maybe I'll get another for TWS!) and my recommendation for anyone would be to spend the extra $20 for the regular Boom 2 as it's really a lot better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Boom 2 vs Soundcore Boom 2 SE (Review) ->For the budget you could get two Earfun L's/ two Soundcore Motion 300's. Go in speakerranking. com and see comparisons of the two. If your priorities are sound quality then go for the Earfun L but if you want a more practice speaker go for the Motion 300.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which is the best portable speaker on sale currently? (Budget ~120$) ->The Earfun Uboom L and the Soundcore Motion 300 are the only ones there worth considering. All the others will sound small and anemic. Every single one of those speakers is ranked in [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_bluetooth_speakers/)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable bluetooth speaker for car ->If you think the Uboom L lacks bass, you're going to really hate the Stormbox Micro 2 and Clip 4. I rarely use my Micro 2 due to lack of bass, and it has by far the deepest bass of any pocket speaker. If you buy those two you will guarantee yourself keeping the Uboom L. You really should be looking at bigger speakers like the Soundcore Boom 2 or [something else](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_bluetooth_speakers/) Deeper bass requires bigger drivers, you can't get around physics.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->There are better speakers for bass heads than the Uboom L. If you really want to keep that same size, try the Tribit Xsound Mega or JBL Charge 5. r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->So the best choices for this are generally the [Earfun Uboom L or the Soundcore Motion 300 with Oluv's EQ](https://www.speakerranking.com/small-medium-size/). The Uboom L is a little more neutral and lighter, but the Motion 300 has a recessed power button and won't turn on in a bag and is a little more portable because it's flatter. Both of them can do stereo pairing. Those speakers among all others are ranked in the [over 1000 upvotes pinned post in this sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
r/WirelessSpeakers • Speaker Recommendations ->As long as you're willing to flash the firmware with a PC, it's really hard to beat the [Earfun Uboom L](https://www.speakerranking.com/top-recommended/) for the sound quality. It's actually quite a bit lighter than the Motion+ mentioned here. I own both of them. r/WirelessSpeakers • LIGHTEST/SMALLEST and BEST SOUNDING speaker for indoor/airbnb travel? ->I also own both and tend to gravitate toward the Uboom L for everything except when I have to put it in a bag. The Motion 300 has a recessed power button that can't be accidentally pressed which is a huge plus when it's flopping around in a bag. But yes, they are both fantastic speakers and it's hard to go wrong with either. Also I tend to say that the top 1/3 of each speaker size category is hard to go wrong with for a non-audiophile. There's a lot of good sounding speakers out there. r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Motion 300 vs Earfun Uboom L (Review) ->Ldac isn't as important as the overall tuning which most other speakers get wrong. It supports AAC which helps on apple devices. Aac on Android isn't good and sounds worse than SBC Yes, it sounds fantastic with flac which is how I'm currently listening to it right now. r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Motion 300 vs Earfun Uboom L (Review) ->get two and it gives some additional flexibility in terms of imaging and placement. I spend a lot of dollars to get speakers that imaged well and the best that i got was when i transitiond over to open baffle, namely the LXMini designed by Siegfried Linkwitz (co-inventor of the Linkwitz–Riley filters). When i put these two Uboom with slight toe, they created a wide sound stage but with dead center vocals with imaging almost as close to my LXMini's. Not a small feat to achieve for less than $120 vs almost close to $1500-2000 investment in the LXmini + DSP + 4 channel amplifier
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->First of all the negativity and ignorance here on Reddit is simply shocking. Especially in this Bluetooth speaker sub it would seem as if some bored kiddies were trying to spend their spare time here instead of going out playing football, pretending being smartasses having the need of spreading their vomit around... It is sad to see what happens here in regard to brand fanboyism and nitwit-ism with no background knowledge at all. I couldn't care less about all this as I don't give a shit about it, but as Reddit has a huge reach it can lead to some huge misinformation or let's call it "fake news" due to these ignorant hobbists who simply have nothing better to do than trolling around apparently. Please let me explain how the Uboom X developed and what my part was, to clear up all the confusion and misinformation. About a year ago I was approached by Earfun asking if I would like to create some tuning for this upcoming speaker. After the experience I did with the Uboom L some years ago and everyone attacking me calling me to be fake and some shill I was really hesitant to do anything like this again. In reality meanwhile the Uboom L became a kind of classic among music enthusiasts, but I was dragged through the mud back than. Let me say that my youtube channel was built up on sound samples which took me years to optimise in order to reach the most realistic and unbiased sound quality. From my sound demos it was immediately hearable which speaker performed better or worse, even when listening through some crappy headphones, the differences were always perceptible well, if listened over a referened headphone you were basically listening to the real thing, or let's say 95% of what it sounds in real life. I could have missed out my comments and verdicts from all my videos as people should have heard on their own, but these trolls were still pretending the obviously distorting, boomy, muddy speaker was better... So I tried teaching them how sound should sound like, as obviously they didn't know. Many of my viewers were thankful for that, they contacted me and are still contacting me how much I changed their view on bullshit marketing, overpriced audio junk etc etc. Back to the UBoom X: I thought it could be an interesting experience to tune a larger speaker out of my personal interest in this topic and I was not sure what the outcome could be as it would have been the first and maybe last kind of product like that I had the chance to work on. Prior to Earfun only Tribit ever approached me to help them with their products (this was when Earfun engineers were still part of Tribit), So aside of the UBoom L before I also did the tuning for the 360° UBoom as well as the first Tribit Stormbox, or Tribit Xsound Go, I also tuned the Earfun Wave headphone and the old Tribit Xfree Tune and some inears... But tuning a "boombox" with all the competition on the market could be challenging and although the contract between me and Earfun really sucked, offering me just some one-time tuning fee and some commission only when purchased over my own links, I neverthless decided to take this challange which turned out to become quite an odyseey for several months with the most negativity I could even think off. I quickly noticed that the hardware was quite capable, the 80W of rated power just didn't mean anything, and I simply tried to push the speaker to the limits with my settings. I really wanted to offer something unique and outstanding, something people always seeking for good sound quality would appreciate, how wrong was I... Initially I planned to include 3 different settings: indoor, outdoor and "insane". Unlike mentioned everywhere these "EQs" are complete DSP programs, consisting of several sections no only EQ, but the entire compressor/limiter, dynamic EQ, psychoacoustic effects for stereo enhancing and bass, volume curve etc etc. Each of my settings has different 3-band compressor settings, with different crossover frequencies, different volume curves EQ etc. And it took endless listening sessions outdoor at maximum volume to squeeze out the maximum out of this speaker. The outdoor modes have a completely different approach to compression than the indoor modes, which are rather conservative and should retain most bass up to maximum with overall volume not being pushed that much. I also tried to get the most kick out of the outdoor modes up to maximum volume and you should notice that the UBoom X has more attack with more basskick than most other similar speakers, neither does it become as harsh at high levels like others (e.g. Stormbox Blast, which becomes just treble at maximum). This took lots of effort to optimise and the current outdoor mode has treble pushed more than the other modes at high volumes to simply allow for even higher output and loudness to be heard from farther away or higher listening angles. My first indoor was similar to the current indoor+, outdoor was something between the current outdoor and outdoor+ and insane was similar to the current outdoor+ but with bass pushed even more which made it more comparable to some way larger JBL Boomboxes. It looked quite funny seeing this rather compact speaker competing with much larger heavier speakers during my tests. Unfortunately the DSP was quite limiting and while I could optimise every single volume step for the UBoom L with different compression values, there was no way to achieve the same for the UBoom X. I would usually dynamically adjust either the highpass for high levels to avoid too much distortion, or optimise the compressor for higher levels compared to low levels. All this was not possible here and I always came into distortion with too high bass levels and volumes. I also noticed that just 3 modes were not enough to cover most use cases, as the speaker was still pretty bassy with "indoor" and "insane" became too uncontrolled at higher levels due to the limitations mentioned above. So instead of trying to do another "boombox" I thought it could be nice to have a speaker for serious listening which could do both, be some kind of portable studio monitor and some boombox for outdoors if needed. In the end I created several different tunings like that: \- indoor should offer a pretty neutral response similar to studio monitors with some psychoacoustic stereo enhancing and dynamic bass and treble adjustments for lower levels (I kept this rather subtle not to make the speaker appear boomy by no means, I would have liked to boost treble even more for the lowest levels, but the DSP didn't allow it. I would have needed to tune the speaker brighter to begin with and then tone down treble with the compressor at high levels which doesn't work as precisely. \- indoor+ adds even more stereo width and has some slight boost at the lowest and highest frequencies. I tried to achieve something that JBL or Harman is usually doing, boosting bass before rolling off, at the same time I wanted to avoid that one-note kind of bass from JBL, and the boominess of the go+play. This mode should sound quite similar to a go+play but with a more even frequency response and a higher volume with less bass reduction at the same time (not even talking about the much better battery life) \- outdoor has upper bass slightly reduced to avoid the speaker to appear too boomy when placed at the ground while midbass around 60hz boosted more, at the same time lowest bass is cut quite a bit more as usually outdoors these frequencies are not heard that well anyhow, this together with the less aggressive compressor for treble allowed for the highest SPL levels with less distortion than outdoor+, Boom xXX etc. Stereo enhancing is disabled for the outdoor mode, as this created some weird effects in the response when listened off axis, so outdoor should sound better from high angles than the other modes. \- outdoor+ is similar to indoor+ just with the most stereo enhancing the most bass boost in the lowest region and some stronger overall treble boost compared to indoor+ Unfortunately outdoor+ can still become a bit uncontrolled with bassheavy recordings if pushed to the max. You can always try to reduce volume 1-2 steps and it should be still loud enough (much louder than the Stormbox Blast) while becoming cleaner and bassier at the same time. \- Boom xXX was meant as rather fun for those who simply love that boominess. It is still listenable unlike some Sony speakers that are just knocking and humming with mudiness and IMO Boom xXX works best for maximum volume with the most overall bass and slightly less distortion than outdoor+ while being louder at the same time. \- Ground O which stands for ground omnidirectional should offer you the most bass possible when placed at the ground due to the boundary effect without the boominess you would get with Boom xXX, at the same time treble is boosted a lot to allow for omnidirectional listening when the speaker is aimed upwards. This works fairly well and due to the reduced upper bass it gives a more controlled result than Boom xXX with a cleaner, deeper bass due to the ground reflections. \- studio was included due to my Patrons asking for a completely neutral mode with no stereo enhancing, no dynamic EQ etc. This came quite late, and as all my other settings were based on some stereo enhancing which also had a strong impact on the overall frequency response, I had a hard time to tweak this mode to really offer the results I was longing for. I personally prefer indoor for a more neutral reproduction as this opens up the sound stage and gives you more satisfying results for low levels. I also had ideas for other settings although seeing now people complaining already now about too many EQs. I wouldn't care less for the included EQs from Earfun which are really plenty, but Earfun didn't want to give me further slots for additional modes, one of them being "desktop". The problem with portable speakers is that they will change the sound a lot depending on where they are placed and most people do not care how or where to place them. Usually you should place a speaker at the edge of some boundary to avoid any effects with the surface underneath. So a speaker which sounds correct standing free will color the sound a lot when placed in the center of some table, ground etc. To overcome this I still created an own desktop mode which should give more satisfying results with the speaker placed on some larger table or even at the ground. It should still offer a rather neutral uncolored result compensating for the reflections of this surface. Earfun created an own custom firmware for me including this setting replacing studio, which I personally hardly used at all. Those interested can always grab that on my Patreon: [https://www.patreon.com/oluvsone/shop/earfun-uboom-x-custom-firmware-with-mode-560004?utm\_medium=clipboard\_copy&utm\_source=copyLink&utm\_campaign=productshare\_fan&utm\_content=join\_link](https://www.patreon.com/oluvsone/shop/earfun-uboom-x-custom-firmware-with-mode-560004?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=productshare_fan&utm_content=join_link) I have put the Uboom X against much more sophisticated, more expensive speakers and it was on par or outperforming those easily, then reading comments from some deaf idiots claiming it to sound worse, having less detail than their Motion+ or worse bass than their Motion Boom is just completely crazy. People are attacking me repeatedly being a shill for Earfun. Honestly I get a shit from them. From November until now I "earned" 300$ of commission... Others like Flossy who contributed nothing to this probably earned 100 times as much in the same time with his own affilate links and nobody has a problem with this. With all the work I put into this, hoping to satisfy also more demanding listeners, offering something no other company even thought about in a speaker that costs a fraction of the competition and then getting all the shitstorm by some weirdos here, just made me lose all motivation to contribute anything anymore. If you want to support me in some way, you can always use my discount code UBOOMXXX which works on the Earfun site directly . Only then I get some percentage of the sales. So seeing all this negativity, all these claims about Earfun bots flooding Reddit, me being some shill for Earfun is just nonsense bullshit. Earfun doesn't even want to pay me for my work, let alone some others. And yes, I am to some degree satisfied with the result I achieved, so why shouldn't I promote it in some way to those who are new to this topic, unlike others who promote speakers that someone serious about music wouldn't even consider when being deaf!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoom X and my part ->Same with uboom l 3 years ago, people expect devialet phantom performance for 120$
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoom X and my part ->Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this! I’m currently using two Earfun U-Boom L speakers with software version 4.3, and they sound fantastic. Oluv has done an excellent job with the tuning, and I really enjoy their clarity and overall sound. However, I find myself constantly wanting deeper bass that the U-Boom Ls just can’t quite deliver. While they are great speakers, I’m looking for more bass to create a fuller, more immersive sound that fills the room, especially when listening to artists like Tom Misch, Khruangbin, Kaytranada, and other musicians who produce rich, bass-heavy music. After doing some research and watching multiple YouTube reviews, I’ve come across a few speaker options that might fulfill my need for deeper bass: • Doss Soundbox Ultra XL: I’m considering getting two of these to pair in stereo. They seem to offer good sound quality, and I’m curious about how they compare to my current setup. • Rocksteady Stadium 2.0 Speakers: This is a four-speaker setup that comes with a dedicated subwoofer, which could be perfect for the room-filling bass I’m after. • Brane X Speaker: Although it’s on the pricier side, it’s said to deliver impressive bass for its size, making it a strong contender. I’d love to hear thoughts from others, especially if you have experience with any of these speakers. Additionally, if you have any other recommendations for speakers that offer strong bass and great overall sound
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Seeking Deeper Bass: Recommendations for Upgrading My Bluetooth Speaker Setup ->I second this. This is a really good idea. Most “room filling” sound is going to be too loud for your neighbors. BUT, a pair or more small speakers together will SOUND fuller even at lower volumes. Flip 6 is good. EarFun Uboom L sounds really good in stereo and at low volumes. Plus you can switch to indoor mode for less “boom”. Motion 300 is really good too and would work well for your situation.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Apartment speaker recommendations ->Dunno about 30k but earfun uboom l is for 5k and loved by audidophiles on reddit. I own it too. You can buy 2 use them in stereo and downgrade firmware to 1.93.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best portable bluetooth speaker under 30k in India? ->I've been blown away by the earfun uboomL for £50 superb much better than loads of more expensive speakers
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for casual use ->I've got two of those speakers (the Micro 2 and the UBoom L). They're great speakers. For larger BT speaker needs, I have my second and still-working Mifa Wildbox, which has some minor DIY modifications. I'm curious about the Uboom X, but I don't think SWMBO will approve me buying another BT speaker ... :-).
r/WirelessSpeakers • Oluv's (Audiophile Housewife's) best Bluetooth portable speakers of 2025 ->The form fact of two of those BT speakers is different to the other two. The UBL and Muvo Go have a cylindrical form factor and are probably better compared against BT speakers like the JBL Flip 6. The Motion 300 is a bit more like the Bose Flex in terms of its form factor. The Motion 300 is the newer speaker, so I'd be tempted to go with that instead of the Earfun UBoom L if I was buying one now, but I'd be looking at a few YT comparison videos first before I make a decision. FWIW, I currently own a Earfun UBoom L. It's become my favourite BT speaker.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which one of the 4 speakers is the best one? ->FWIW, if the Earfun Uboom L doesn't have enough bass for you, then you can immediately drop the Flip 6 from your list too. None of those speakers will produce very low frequency bass BTW. The Edifier D12 looks interesting, but bear in mind that it does not have a battery (which might be a good thing if it's going to spend most of its life plugged in on a desk, but not so good if you plan to use it while travelling).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a bluetooth speaker. Max budget - 10k INR. Looking for something which has low deep bass which you feel. Max use is on my desk, with maybe a few days of travelling in a year. Someone suggested JBL flip 6. Any Suggestions? ->Three. Well four, if I count the one that no longer works. Soundblaster Roar2 - no longer works Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 - for use when I'm hashing / hiking Earfun Uboom L - for general use around the house Mifa Wildbox - for use outside (washing the car, small gatherings, etc.) I'm pretty tempted to purchase the Earfun Uboom-X ... :-)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • How many Bluetooth Speakers Do You Have? ->Bird's post about the Uboom X and Soundcore Boom 2 are spot on, and for the money are a damned good deal. I had the Uboom X for a minute and ultimately returned it because it was too big, too "boombox-looking," and wasn't WiFi/AirPlay 2. But with Oluv's tuning, it was a bargain if you need a wall of detailed sound that goes LOUD. I have a pair of Sonos Move 2s (and more) hooked up to my AppleTV ecosystem, along with a number of other WiFi speakers. The Move 2s on their own are terrific, and paired, they are dynamite. If you want to go that route, you can't go wrong. I love the portability of my Move 2s, and you can't beat their sound signature (warm, not clinical). The EQ is only "okay" in the Sonos app, but...at least there is an EQ. I listened to the Devialet, and it was very good...but not as good as the Brane X, which costs much less. The Brane X is next on my list of purchases.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->I also 2nd the idea of the Anker SM 300. It sounds about 75% as good as the Bose SL Flex (I have both) and has decent clarity (and bass) at low volumes. Of course, I have to mention Oluv's love child, the Earfun UBoom L. It's cheap, sounds great, and is good enough at lower volumes with the right EQ setup. Also, I have the TRIBIT StormBox Micro 2 (got it on eBarf for $30) and it's terrific and tiny. Way bigger sound than expected.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Suggestions for Budget Speaker for Work ->Ehh I dunno about this. In my opinion you can’t compare the L to the X, they’re completely different use cases and other than portability the X outlcasses it. The superior extension and driver size makes a huge difference. The X has a number of indoor sound modes that reduces the inherent boominess of using these large speakers indoors and it’s unique in that aspect over other large speakers.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Looking for the best speaker at the 100-150$ price range ->I'd recommend the earfun Uboom L. You can get it for about $50 from Amazon with the coupon code here: [https://www.speakerranking.com/small-medium-size/](https://www.speakerranking.com/small-medium-size/)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the best bluetooth speaker for 60$? ->Earfun UBOOM L Nothing comes close to it IMO in that price range
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker with very crisp sound under $100? -># EarFun Bluetooth Speaker, UBOOM L nothing comes close for the price
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker under $100? ->End your search just get the EarFun UBOOM L
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The Best Small Bluetooth Speaker Right Now? ->Had them all, Earfun Uboom L is unbeatable for size and price
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker Suggestion ->Well it is ranked by an audiophile, I don't think people would actually want to choose what an audiophile chooses. There are some youtubers who think the earfun uboom l(?) just sounds natural but not umphy(less bass) than the JBL. It's like when audiophiles hate bose but bose is still what people would want to buy because of the bass.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Anyone got the tribit x sound plus 2 ? ->I got Uboom L in the sale around 4.5k but Earfun has poor quality control , first unit had Aux in issue , got replacement which had battery drain issue so returned it.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • best speaker under INR 5K ->Any idea how it compares to UBoom L ? I liked the Uboom L but faced qc issues and had to return it
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • best speaker under INR 5K ->Yes. It's good, just a little pricey.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Ultra Ultra Portable? ->I’ve been test driving a soundcore motion 300 and uboom L. Motion 300 is very clear to my ears. Uboom is as well but falls a little behind the motion 300 to my ears. It’s also on the bad firmware version and I don’t have a pc to get the required program to change it though, so that’s something to consider.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker with very crisp sound under $100? ->I bought both the Uboom L and motion 300 to compare the 2 and ended up keeping the 300. Uboom sounded nice and had a little more bass but there were too many hoops to jump through to change the firmware to the “right one” for the best tuning. Maybe once it’s added into app functionality I’ll try it again. The 300 sounds great and full for its size when EQ’d right. I also don’t like the exposed passive radiators on smaller speakers I’ll be carry/packing around a lot, but that’s just a personal preference thing.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which one of the 4 speakers is the best one? ->Uboom L. Push an extra .5k, Flag it, update the app. And now you have an outstanding speaker for the price.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • best speaker under INR 5K ->It’s not for «some reason». It’s a bad speaker coz they eq the hell out of a fulltone driver for people with hearing loss over 6khz, making it both bright and harsh. It’s also haven’t good a good lower midrange fundament making it sound hollow. You can’t fake true resolution just by eq, that makes it just worse as you directly expose a driver’s weakness. Main shiller here seems to think that gives it an audiophile quality and that non-audiophiles might not appreciate that. Nothing is further from the truth.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->Recent Minirig 4 convert, wanted as close to zero latency as possible. Demod some popular choices such as tribit max sound plus, soundcore motion + and uboom L. Uboom l was my favourite of those but baaad latency and preferred Minirig sound felt closer to studio. If you are playing in beats on 404 latency can be a real barrier
r/SP404 • Best Portable Speaker for SP404 Use On the Go ->What’s the best portable speaker for mainly edm and dubstep? Artist like illenium and excision. I want to take somthing with me to music festival for camping, somthing for small house pregames, to the beach, etc. I have the uboom l that I might return for somthing portable, also sounds a bit harsh on the high end and lack the bass that I want and feels like it’s missing somthing.I tried the 0.4.3 and 0.4.8 firmware. I was looking at the stormbox micro 2 or JBL clip 4. Somthing around that price range
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->Dang I wanted somthing that I can just throw into my bag that is rugged or into my pocket. I know I can throw the uboom in my bag.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->Yeah. I might just buy both and test all 3 and just pick one that I like. I am a big headphone guy and stuff in the highs don’t bother me. I have stuff like dt1990 hd700 which are know to be harsh. but the uboom just seems off some reason
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for edm? ->You might consider getting two UBOOM L for that price and I'm only judging by my experience. I have jbl charge 3 and jbl xtreme 2. Xtreme is just way too bassy to be a comfortable listen indoors and I don't really use it outdoors as much as I thought I would. So I barely ever use it. On the other hand two speakers in a stereo mode are incomparably better listening experience than one speaker. My guess is that you would mostly be using the speaker in the apartment so you won't be going crazy with bass and volume because of your neighbours so I feel like even if you got the bigger speaker you wouldn't be using it to its potential. In addition to that a smaller speaker can be easily dropped into a pocket or a small bag with other stuff. Larger one isn't really that convenient to take around. Anyway that was my line of thinking. I just ordered two UBOOM L because my JBLs can't play on battery any longer
r/WirelessSpeakers • Looking for the best speaker at the 100-150$ price range ->Honestly, I'd choose two decent BT speakers on stereo mode over a top BT speaker as it's not a hifi experience anyway. That stereo just makes such a huge difference that I'm doubtful a difference in quality of these two speakers can overshadow. But again, that's just my personal preference The modes sound great though. Seems like earfun has been doing a fantastic job
r/WirelessSpeakers • Looking for the best speaker at the 100-150$ price range ->Motion 300 or uboom l wayy better than mono shet jbl flip 6!! U will get earache while listening to flip 6 for 15min but not in case of motion 300 i got both flip 6 sounds like tin can infront of motion 300
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which one of the 4 speakers is the best one? ->https://www.speakerranking.com/top-recommended/ This is from the Bluetooth speaker subreddit I bought the uboom L based on the recommendations no complaints. It’s great for riding around the neighborhood.
r/golfcarts • Best Bluetooth speaker? ->Use aux instead of Bluetooth connection, for me it makes a difference, the sound is better, more clarity and more dinamic (I have a tribit storm box blast, uboom l and and a LG v60)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speakers suggestion under $250 ->Six, but used to be seven. Out of those 6 only 3 work now. * -Denon Envaya dsb250 (great deep bass and stereo separation, not so good vocals and highs) * -Vifa Helsinki (absolute beast, clean af, lacks deep bass) * -Uboom L (insane price to performance ratio, good tuning with crap hardware) * -Soundcore Motion + (I lost it...) * -Dockin D Fine (Sadly broke) * -Doss Soundbox XL (Sounded shit. Absolute dog poop speaker, glad it broke) * -Mi Speaker (was extremely good, sadly my friend dropped it and it broke)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • How many Bluetooth Speakers Do You Have? ->Not really, the uboom x sounds way better than the stormbox blast 2
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->Mr. Obvious obviously downvoted this too. I returned my UBOOM X it was hot trash. The Stormbox Blast 2 is where it’s at.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Honest review of the Earfun Uboom L. ->Last I checked I wasn’t a bot. I don’t know how close the UBOOM X is to the higher priced options, frankly I’m not sure I could even tell and don’t really care. What matters to me is that it has awesome bass and sounds fantastic at a fraction of the price. Right now on Amazon US with the $30 coupon and discount code “UBOOMXXX” it’s $125.92 out the door. A stereo pair is still $150 under your budget. For me, the value proposition is too compelling to ignore, ymmv.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best boombox speaker ->I've got the uboom x but I would recommend something else (lack of bass). JBL encore essential has good bass and is way loud. Check it out
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What’s the loudest speaker, with the best sound, that I can easily take on an airplane? Under $300 please. ->uboom x is not boomy, it has nice deep bass. only 120 with code.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What are the Best bluetooth speakers w/ Aux input? ->Uboom X has 7 different EQs which are tuned by oluv. Indoor+ and Outdoor+ have strong bass boost. please don't spread misinformation ;)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Help me find the right speaker ->no doubt this is the best choice on the marktet under 200 moneyz! :)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the most balanced sub $200 Bluetooth speaker? ->Suitcase size, Soundcore motion + (with eq) Bose Soundlink flex Gen 2 (not so muddy as Gen1, wait for a sale again. It was 40€ off couple days ago e.g. where i live) If you want to stand it upwards (good for small spaces like hotels) sony ult field 1 is a consideration e.g., but sound is slightly worse than the mentioned two Then get real wired speakers for your desk, not bluetooth stuff. The is often a delay with bluetooth, annoying when watching movies. You dont want to take a go and play with you, trust me. Too big and heavy. If you're saying you also need that power outdoors its different. But i heard uboom x apparently is very good. You can get two to pair them.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for a speaker for my bedroom ->I did a deep dive on this a while back and settled on an Earfün Uboom, which was recommended for two reasons 1. It has firmware available that was tuned by some famous audiophile guy 2. You can find coupons for it that give you like 20 bucks off so it's like 50-60 bucks. It has aux in as well as BT. Good battery life. You just need to be comfortable with the idea of changing the firmware to the specific recommended version. I use mine all the time. It can get quite loud but it is also absolutely dreamy at low volume. Sometimes I rest it on my forehead and it feels like I am wearing fancy invisible headphones. Also, you should read the user manual. It has two modes, one high latency mode for multi-device bluetooth and a low latency mode for single device bluetooth / aux. You switch by double pressing the BT button. Oh and it's waterproof I guess but I'm not going to test it. I like mine quite a lot. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth_Speakers/comments/1fle9of/the_earfun_uboom_l_is_insanely_good/
