Earfun Uboom L does. And it's a badass little speaker. And two of them in stereo is pretty impressive. Plenty of volume, great highs and mids and more than enough bass to get the job done well. They aren't bass monsters but they don't lack it either. I have a few sets of speakers and they are well loved, especially for he price. My Soundcore Boom 2 isy favorite right now, but only because of it's loud clear bass. Uboom L are very good speakers. They are super clear at low to medium volume, but they still hold it together at max volume. They don't distort and still sound good.
A pair of Uboom L's. Audiophile sound quality on a budget. Greet clarity and clean sound. Good bass, great mids and highs.
I have a pair of Uboom L's that I run in stereo TWS, they are really good. Not bass monsters but they get the job done well and have a really clear sound.
Tribit Stormbox Micro 2. I got a pair off Amazon for $49 each. They are normally $65 or so. I also have a pair of Uboom L's, they are a great system. One is really good, two is really great. My Soundcore Boom 2's are my boombox setup and it's awesome. They were on sale recently at Costco for $49. I would suggest the Boom 2 if you can find one at a good deal. If you can find one under $100 it's worth it, they are loud, have killer bass and have clear good sound quality.
My Soundcore Boom 2 v2 and my pair of Tribit Stormbox Micro 2's. They cover all the bases I'll ever need. I also like my pair of Uboom L's.
Uboom L sounds great at extremely low volume.
Uboom L in Oluv's indoor mode, upper treble is slightly boosted (which kinda gives an illusion of more details but in a nice way), response overall is natural, VERY smooth and extends nicely to 20khz. Nothing in this size will beat it on axis for a long time, it also has that nice loudness compensation for lower volumes and doesn't distort at all
Earfun Uboom L in indoor mode, nothing in that size is more accurate and it sounds great at lower volumes because of dynamic bass and treble boost
Earfun Uboom L in indoor mode, Uboom X in Oluv's indoor mode... You won't find anything more detailed, smoother or accurate at their respective sizes for on axis listening no matter the price. Oluv, guy who tuned both, knows his stuff when it comes to tuning and especially making the sound natural, Neumann Kh80 were used as a refrence for the uboom X, you can check out his work on youtube channel Joy and Oluv'Sone
Uboom X in Oluv's indoor would be absolutely the best choice, maby you can still find some Vifa speakers? Also, Ldac/Aptx advantage is negligible, you'll get more improvement by lowering some peak in the frequency response via eq
Those are all direct competitors for sure but Uboom X (949 firmware) is nicer sounding at lower volumes in indoor or indoor + due to nice dynamic loudness compensation, stereo enhancement effect and a smoother response overall... it's also more powerful at higher volumes if I'm not mistaken so do Boom 2 Plus and Blast offer some other features which make them better?
I'm wondering the same in terms of indoor listening... Uboom X (049 firmware, indoor or indoor +) sounds similar but nicer than the Vifa Copenhagen 2.0 in late night mode so that one is out.
I've got the EarFun UBOOM L and it was the best $50 I've spent for a speaker. I had Oontz Angles before which were great, but this UBOOM is incredible. The bass is really really deep on this and you can customize the equalizer, which I'm sure you can do with many other speakers. And if, for whatever reason this happens, they aren't just waterproof, they float!
I've had a similar quest. My Jbl Extreme got damaged and needed a replacement. Listened to a lot of speakers and found the Harman Kardon Go & Play 3 was the best in sound. It just sounded amazing and the bass was really good. The reason I didn't buy it was the build. It's not rugged (like the jbl flip-charge-extreme's and can't really put it in a backpack) and is not waterproof. In the end I bought two Uboom L's. With the Sone settings, especially outside, they preform very well for almost half the price. But if one of my Audio Pro's break, I'll buy the HK in a heartbeat.
I've tested both speakers with flat eq and also by increasing bass with custom eq. In both cases, earfun UBL wins as it sounds more fuller due to its size when compared to Tribit Xsound Plus 2. As a bass lover, that's the main reason to prefer UBL. My eq for UBL placement in the corner of a room Music: https://ibb.co/5wH7k62 Movies: https://ibb.co/LdyMG1qb
Earfun Uboom L. Get the version that was tuned by Oluv. You should see the picture of an Arnold Schwarzenegger looking dude on the marketing material. That's Oluv
