You might raise your eyebrows at this but I really REALLY like my EarFun UBOOM (L?) bluetooth speaker. I got it for like 50 bucks. I use it for my mobile synth stuff and it works great. Not loud enough for a gig but plenty loud for a jam in the park. Generally it sounds good, but if you are able to get it pointing directly at you it sounds fantastic. Especially - or maybe specifically, if you install the custom firmware developed by some guy named Oluv, who I guess is maybe well known in the audiophile community, but IDK. You need to use the low latency mode if you're going to perform, which is a double tap of the bluetooth button (even when using AUX). The battery life is great, the sound is great, it's easy to use, waterproof, not very big, etc. etc.
I have the tribit xsound go and tribit storm box 2. They sound much better. The ue wonderboom 4 is a smaller speaker it’s rugged but it’s still a small speaker. The sound distorts at higher volume. The ue boom 4 is a much better speaker but it’s out of ur budget. The wonder boom 4 sounds good in stereo mode. The earfun uboom is another speaker but tribit sounds better. Also check out Sony ultfield 1. It’s 20w compared to tribits storms 34w. I’m happy with the storm box 2. Which I feel is a better option. I’m not into too much of bass and prefer clarity and both my tribits fulfill this.
Earfun make lovely speakers tbf, I have a regular uboom, the sound is great. They are kind of different though as those Samsung ones are more massive floor speakers, uboom x is still kind of a portable speaker.
Sure yeah, I'm sure the sound is amazing on the uboom. I would check the wattage though to compare and reviews for the Samsung as well as unsure how good the sound is.
Yep. Bought soundcore , returned. Bought uboom and was pleasantly surprised. I habe bigfoot 2s so I know bass
Bought 1 then bought a uboom x Uboom is louder, deeper bass, better mids and lows than a boom 2
Uboom L ($50) and a Hiby R1 ($85) with a 256gb SD card ($20). He'll be set for life and it will sound great and he portable. Loving mine. Zero complaints.
Uboom L ($50) or a pair of them if you want glorious stereo greatness. Soundcore 2 ($29) or Select 4 Go ($22) if you want to spend much. I have pairs of all three and love them all for different things.
Two Uboom L's in tws stereo. $100 for two, on Amazon with the oluv discount code
Uboom L sounds great at extremely low volume.
Just get two Uboom L's and call it a day. I got my pair for $100 and they do the job beyond well. 1
with coupon and bank discount its 7500 rn. if you dont have the card i would suggest you to wait a little as it goes for sale frequently. if you want to buy a speaker rn get the uboom l and download old firmware.
Any latency when wired? I have a similar bt speaker I hoped to use this way and there is noticeable latency when wired. Uboom L if anyone is wondering, I got fooled by the reddit shills for this speaker, it's ass.
Have you tried outdoor mode on the Uboom L? I think it sacrifices some lower bass though compared to indoor mode. Flip 6 size is quite impressive.
