r/DJs • Portable DJs, what other speakers are similar to MINIRIG? ->I’ve used a bunch…. Tried to love mnirigs, what a waste of time effort and money that was. The Everse8 is astounding. I love it. It’s just small enough that I can put it in a backpack and take it to the beach. I put it in my luggage and went to South America… it’s a bit big for that but it was well worth it to have. I think I may have gone for the Bose but I wanted the output not to be lacking. Everse8 all the way…dynacord powered Bosch made water proofish rugged battery powered killer…. So happy with this speaker.
r/DJs • Low latency, battery powered, compact yet powerful full frequency range speaker recommendations (that aren't Minirig)? ->I have mini rig but no sub. It's good for goofing around with friends in like a 3m^2 room not much more. Does sound good though! I'd look at an ElectroVerse Everse 8 for what you want. Clean up to the redline and lots of bass. Battery powered.

The Mackie Go sucks, Bose S1 sucks, Wave 8 sucks, Yorkville is pretty good but it doesn't have a replaceable battery. Best part about the EV's are that you can swap out batteries if you need to.
