The onyx studio 7 has alot of bass and rumble even with low volumes great for apartments (2 tweeters) but lacks features(only aux port) and is the size of a water gallon at least it has a handle

I have a GO+3 Play by Harman Kardon. The best thing I have bought yet being an audiophile... Warmest sound ever! Before that I had a Onyx studio 7 by Harman Kardon... So I got a great upgrade! 😃

Tried the U boom X and seems like a decent speaker. Much better than my onyx 7. Similarly priced in India. Give it a listen. Best part about it is the Eq i usually use Studio for the stable audio and its fucking rugged man. Looking to get another, only on sale tho. The speaker will go Boom boom if you want it to its very bass heavy.

Harmon onyx 7 is $400 but goes on sale for $100 if you keep an eye out. Sounds amazing

these are all worth their weight in gold: $150 on Amazon - TriBit Stormbox Blast $140 on Amazon ($70/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion Boom $138 on Amazon ($69/ea) - 2x Anker Soundcore Motion+ $112 on Amazon ($56/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion 300's $107 on Amazon - Soundcore Motion Boom Plus $100 on Amazon ($50/ea) - 2x Earfun UBOOM L i personally own the TriBit, the Soundcore Motion+, the Earfuns, and I also was able to score a Harman Kardon Onyx 7 for $130 which is right in your price range. I love all of these speakers a lot, but the Harman Kardon has the best bass for the kind of music that I listen to.

The only good one on your list is the Boombox 3. Flip 6 is good for its size. The others are trash unless you absolutely love wifi speakers which is the only reason to ever consider a Sonos speaker. Personally the Harmon Kardon Go + Play 3 is the best indoor speaker I've heard and the Onyx 7 that is currently on sale on the HK website comes close to it.

Well it is a cheap plastic speaker that looks and feels like it was put together in a poor remote Chinese factory. While the sound quality isn't bad by any means, it's really not anything impressive, so sorry not everyone is blown away this speaker. I would take my HK Onyx Studio 7, Motion Boom Plus 2,Sony XG500, or even the Stormbox Blast over this any day. The highs and mids are flat and lifeless and while the bass is without a doubt impressive, it is boomy and muddled and overpowers the music on certain tracks. It is a decent speaker at low to mid volume depending on the type of music. If you want to get upset and insult my ears, feel free, but my opinion stands. This speaker will collect dust until I find someone to pawn it off on. Maybe they will enjoy it as much as you think everyone else should.

I liked indoor+ and outdoor tbe most. I also tried my own custom EQ to see if I could match it to my preferences, and could never get it there like I can with other speakers. Considering the Studio 7 is my favorite of the speakers I own, the fact you find it a joke is pretty ironic in itself. None of my other speakers reach the depth of sub bass that speakers does and it is not overpowering. I will concede the Boom x matches second place for sub bass with the XG500 i own, but it gets overpowering and muddy sounding with certain songs. The Boom 2 plus has the least sub bass and can get distorted at high volumes, but I use it for my shower and it works a treat in there. Everyone has different ears and preferences to sound. The Boom X still beats out a lot of speakers I've tried, but overall its just meh to my ears and it still looks and feels like one of the cheapest around.

Grab an Onyx Studio 7/8. You can find them easily at that price or even cheaper and they will have an AUX port. In terms of bass and sound quality to price ratio they have no Equal

You'd be sacrificing on volume, but the only thing that is meaningfully smaller with that same deep thumpy bass would be something like Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 or 8

The deep bass is fun, reminds me of the HK Onyx Studio speakers. I wish they limited it more precisely though, its easy to push it into distortion with custom settings.

Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio the original one. Bought mine 2013 refurbished on eBay and it’s still going. Bought a replacement battery and it was super easy to replace.

HK Onyk Studio should be good for you. It has a battery, good bass, fun to watch movies, and captures the sound of the atmosphere completely. When placing it, you don't have to place it next to your macbook. You can place it anywhere. The sound will jump onto the screen itself. Another thing is that listening to music is beautiful too.

Yeah, both the HK Go+Play and Onyx Studio series would blow away the Max. They are my go-to speakers when I want the music to really shine through. Incredibly deep bass and crystal clear mids and highs. None of my other 5 portable Bluetooth speakers come close. Edit - Just saw someone post the HK Go+Play 3 is selling on ebay for $132 right now. At that price, it's a no brainer.

If you wanna hear bass drops with mid and upper elements too from like space laces, hol, ydg the heavy sub 30hz drops: Harmon kardon onyx series for low priced. But if theres no constraints, the devialet mania will have the best bass you are looking for and clarity. B and O A1 is pretty good too but you’ll prolly wanna run a pair. All the jbls megaboom, the regular mainstream brands all run rly muddy bass that bleeds into the mids. Like at lost lands the soundcamp speakers, kinda mid for the vocals and trebles but u feel the wubs

Yes still very happy with mine. Bought it after testing Marshal, Klipsch, Bose, Audio Pro and HK. For the price its hard to beat. Been 1 yr plus, still sound great. HK Onyx sound the best but too bulky to be carried around.

The Harmon Kardon Studio and Go play speakers have a fat low end and go on sale for much less than the Brane. Good "indoor" speaker but not as tough as JBL/Soundcore/Bose designs.
