Ok if you are looking for smaller and portable Bluetooth I have the anker sound core. Which sounds ok and is battery powered and the ikea eneby. Also not bad but not in the same league as the ik multimedia.
We get asked this 50-100 times per day, so I just copy paste if that's okay: CHEAPO BUT OK: AudioTechnica AT-LP60x, Denon DP29F, Dual DT210, Sony PS-LX310BT A LITTLE FANCIER: AudioTechnica AT-LP120x, AudioTechnica AT-LP3x, Reloop RP7000 MK-II, U-Turn Orbit (U-Turn in the Americas only). There are NO good all-in-one options, you will need separate speakers. Edifier MR4 is recommended, they are great for the money. But technically any pair of old PC speakers (The ones that used to come with computesr that thrift shops are littered with) or any bluetooth speaker/soundbar that has a line/aux input will work too. For a cheap, good sounding single (bluetooth) speaker I recommend this one: [https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vappeby-bluetooth-speaker-gen-3-black-s89571402](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vappeby-bluetooth-speaker-gen-3-black-s89571402) For your use specifically you may want speakers like the edifier RT1280 or RT1700Bt that has more than one input so you can hook up your cd player and your record player. The 1700 has bluetooth too, which may be useful. Also watch these videos. General info on vinyl caretaking: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2QfjcgDjsY&ab\_channel=SnazzyLabs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2QfjcgDjsY&ab_channel=SnazzyLabs) A video should you want to buy separates (record player, amplifier, speakers etc.): [https://youtu.be/34nQf9YPeZg?si=U1d7Sji5KsmkODGW](https://youtu.be/34nQf9YPeZg?si=U1d7Sji5KsmkODGW) And, if your record player has manual setup options: [https://youtu.be/1FSOa\_-jDsM?si=rgSeYjAaP1rC14LE](https://youtu.be/1FSOa_-jDsM?si=rgSeYjAaP1rC14LE) As for CD players; Don't overspend. If you don't get fancy speakers, you won't need a fancy CD player at this point. I personally would just go to the thrift shop and buy a DVD player for little money that has CD transport controls (next, previous, pause, play, stop) on the thing itself. Alternatively you can just get something like this [https://www.amazon.com/ENVYCLOUD-Portable-Rechargeable-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B0FFLXB74N/](https://www.amazon.com/ENVYCLOUD-Portable-Rechargeable-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B0FFLXB74N/) It's nothing special but it does the job :).
Ikea Eneby is surprisingly great. I don't think any bluetooth spraker double the price comes close. It's not as boomy and bass boosted as the sony and jbl ones I've tried, much more natural Not super small though
It also has a user replaceable battery. It a a bit boomy but no regrets.
Yes true but also works perfectly fine without. Far better than most BT speakers which will be useless bricks in <5 years
I have been really enjoying Marshall Stockwell II and Ikea Vappeby Gen 3 speaker lately. Both are super well tuned speakers, excellent battery life, negligible imperceptible lag and well rounded sound profile. You should check’em out. Ikea has 6 month return policy and Marshall has 30 day return policy
I was going to suggest this combo. I'm really pleased with it.
I literally bought one this weekend since I was getting furniture anyway. It’s actually really really good for a 60 euro speaker (80 with the battery).
It’s mono, tho. Other than that, yes. Has a 3.5mm AUX jack input, sounds decent, looks good.
