How about all of the other cylinder shaped speakers?? They all came with circle drivers and now when jbl used the racetrack driver in their charge4 for the first time everybody started doing it. Sony, huawei, xiaomi, mifa, and many others. I know there has been 2 way speakers since or before the jbl charge 4 but im talking about the woofer and that everyone is copying them and nobody can thing of a new design. Atleast the tronsmart s100 used a new type of design and finally changed something up.

Budget jbl speakers are absolute shit . I own jbl pulse 2, charge 3 ,charge 4 they all r fantastic . Jbl has only great models in charge, pulse, extreme segment others are either very bad or very expensive . From ur options mi is the best in terms of audio quality but it has poor backup i.e like 1-2 hrs when used on max volume. I purchased it for 2friends so i know about mi speaker

got to say I was all in on JBL for years with my Charge 4, not really having much to compare with outside of soundcore and UE but after getting my Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 and Luna I'm not sure there is a better sound quality to price ratio out there for me. Crystal clear sound without distortion at any volume and really well balanced bass. Even better if you can catch any of their speakers on sale.

damn that looks really good. This the one I use: [https://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-speakers/JBL+CHARGE+4.html](https://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-speakers/JBL+CHARGE+4.html) but that one looks slimer and ligher while still 30W

I use JBL for better sound quality, and the ability to charge devices on the go with usb & usb-c ports. You can get two Charge 4’s that connect to each other for a stereo/surround experience, or for a sprawling jobsite. Waterproof and still costs less than this speaker.

I just got the Xtreme 3 for Chrismas and the first couple of days I wasn't a big fan. I wondered if my Charge 4 (which i have used for 3 or 4 years now) is better. But those doubts passed once I got used to the bass. I used it at 2 partys and everyone tought it's so much better + it's a lot louderthe only thing that bothers me now is a kind of white noise while the music is playing. I mean the noise is really quiet but when I'm alone in my room and the volume is down I can hear it and I'm not a big fan. Otherwise I find it great for partys or when you're outside, so if you like listening music with your friends it's a good choice, BUT if you're gonna listen only at home when you're by yourself I consider the Charges 4 and 5 a better option moneywise

Where to buy it? My jbl charge 4 and jbl flip 6 suffered driver blown out despite no drop, no play high volume, and bass boosted song.

It didn't do this in the first 6 months of owning my charge 4 and flip 6. My charge 4 and flip 6 started doing this after the warranty is over. I didn't use the lfm mode and I played these two speakers at <50% volume. Musics are from Spotify streaming. Flip 6 used default EQ. Air leakage from the charging port? How do I fix this?

Mind you it’s a mono speaker (charge 3 is stereo though). There’s also the argument of who cares because it’s firing right at you and isn’t big enough to get a sense of left and right anyway lol

JBL Charge 5 or Charge 4. I'd say go for a used Charge 4, since it sounds argueably better, since Charge 5 has many peaks with It's tweeter at higher frequencies. Used Charge 4s come on comical prices, such as 50-80€. You save a lot of money, have more features such as the aux port, good battery life, very loud and bassy sound, but also pretty balanced overall.

I'd recommend JBL Charge 4, Flip 6 or just a used Charge 4, if you don't mind used stuff. Both of these speakers sound great, but Flip 6 is a bit quieter, has smaller sound and less bass, while Charge 4 has bigger sound, more bass and is also louder. Both of these speakers are great and remain very clean sounding and the bass is very clean and not muddy Stock prices are: Charge 4 - 140€ \ Flip 6 - 120€ A used Charge 4, which is still in mint condition and has near stock battery condition (10+ hours), costs somewhere in 50-80€ range. Sometimes you can find them for really great prices and save a lot of money. I'd recommend looking forward to that :)

I have used charge 2, pulse 2, flip 4 and now i have a charge 4 The charge family is the perfect one for me, great at home, great for cycling, great for outdoor using, and has a great bass I didn't like the flip 4 because it has almost 0 bass and imo didnt sound as good as charge 2 About the pulse 2, its so perfect to listen in the dark, and it has almost the same power as the charge 2. Definitely worth if you like to listen in the dark

Got a free flip 6 from an arcade yesterday, which I'm not mad about, at all. I still love, and prefer, my charge 4, though.

Yeah, I like the built in power bank, so it goes more places with me. Don't get me wrong, they're both great speakers, but as far as usefulness, the charge wins. And I've had no issues with the quality out of either of them.

Consider whether you would rather buy her a JBL Charge 5 or 4 or Charge Essential 2 (which is based on the Charge 4 but with a newer Bluetooth version). The Charges are simply JBL's best ultra portable speakers and offer so much more sound and fun for just a little more money. Yes, the JBL Charge is a bit heavier and a bit larger than the JBL Flip, but that's within reason and the added value totally makes up for it. In addition, the look of the JBL Charges is absolutely awesome. If you order directly from JBL, you will always find a 10% discount code somewhere (e.g. on YouTube).👍🏻😊

Some good suggestions so far. I'd recommend a JBL Charge 4 (if you get a good deal) or JBL Charge Essential 2. 👍🏻🙂

The Charge 4 is a nice Option but it’s Sound Quality isn’t that good. The Xtreme 2 might be worth looking at. It Sounds a bit better than the Charge 4 and isn’t that much more expensive on the used market.

My JBL Charge 4 was great but now won’t stay turned on. I went with the Soundmotion 300 and I have to say it seems like the same loudness of the JBL but with clearer audio and cheaper price.

I like midrange sound I have liked UE Wonderboom 3 or Boom 3 or Altec Lansing hydro blast. Bose Flex sounds good too. JBL charge has good bass without being muddy. JBL flip is good too. Soundcore glow has bass emphasis.

Anything priced at 99 will sound better. Bose Flex, JBL Flip for small. JBL Charge, Sonos Roam, Marshall Emberton, Sony Ult 1 a bit bigger. I like the Wonderboom for small size and nice midrange sound: non bass head.

I bought the Wonderboom 2 during covid, and I enjoyed as it plays everything good from jazz, classical to classic rock (Pearl Jam, Rem, and everything in between). It does sound like the Bose Flex and the Sonos small speaker are a bit better in overall sound quality. I did the order online pick your stuff up in the parking lot during Covid but have enjoyed it. The JBL Charge and Flip are super popular so cannot go wrong with those either.

The Charge has a bit more bass and volume vs Flip. Sony Ult 1 or 300 XE are nice items. I was able to try Ult 1; nice sound. Soundcore Glow, 300, 600 are good speakers too.

If it is 2 rooms, you might see about pairing 2 JBL charges and going 1 in each room. I heard the Sony Ult 1 at Walmart USA, and it would be doable too.

Place it in a corner facing the room diagonally and it sounds much better. It's unfair to expect it to compare to something like a JBL charge (which I also have), but nothing beats that thing running all day on 1 bar of a 5Ah battery.

You mean a bluetooth speaker? The JBL lineup is relatively cheap, with the most value for your money a charge, second-hand they go for 50-75 euro, I believe they are new around 100 euro. It's weight is about 1kg (2,5lb), so ideal for a stroll in the woods!

Have a pair of Harmon Kardon Luna’s and absolutely love them. I had bought two Bose flex’s, two beats pills, and pair of jbl charges - surprisingly the Luna sounded the best and was smaller than the charge - returned the other speakers
