X300 is what I would say without context and my idea of "mini". Bose Soundlink Flex if you can go to what I consider "small". JBL clip if you need something I consider "micro"

You can still have great awareness. I keep a JBL clip in my shirt jac pocket, not the pen pocket, and i heard a dog running down the street at me with my back turned. It didnt bark neither, i just heard something.

JBL Clip is the most practical and loud for its size. I've bought a few and given them away. I currently own 2. They are cheapest at tj maxx or marshalls for whatever reason.

Good for $15. JBL clip is better but it’s also $60.

You can find music monitors for around the same price as a Bluetooth speaker. If you get a RCA to aux the Bluetooth might work but I know new ones don’t have an aux. I actually just use an old JBL clip and have always just used it plugged in. The Bluetooth settings on the FLX4 are for the iPad. So he can mix without the iPad plugged in. It’s a little misleading. I’m sure you can connect the speaker somehow but it’s not intended for that.

I have both the JBL clip and Bose sound link. Both amazing, depending on need. If it’s staying around the house, sound link. On the move, beach, etc… JBL

The mini roll ue a bit warmer and bassy than the clip jbl. JbL clip more Crispy sound, both identical about loudness. Mini roll ue can be on sales around 50$ at this time

Once I was comfortable, I have a JB Clip speaker and was blasting work friendly tunes all day in my LLV/FFV. But remember, like putting your phone in a cup, the vehicle is an amplifier, whatever you play, WILL be heard by everyone you see. Play work appropriate tunes, or Karen WILL complain and you'll ruin it for everyone.

I agree. it sounds shockingly good for the price and I always thought jbl clips would be my only portable Bluetooth speakers. Those things are overpriced in comparison!
