The JBL Flip 6 is IP67-rated, making it more resistant to dust and water than the Beats Pill. ... if you need something more rugged and don’t mind recharging, the Flip 6 is still a great pick!"

"The JBL is easier to toss around since it fits almost anywhere"
"The Flip 6 is actually a pretty small speaker. It’s about half the size and weight of the Motion+ and Uboom L. ... it’s very portable (more that the M+ and UBL)"

"Charge 5 has a slightly higher waterproof rating. It is louder with better audio quality than the Flip 6. ... in my experience my Charge has been much better at delivering clear and audible sound in my backyard than my Flip 6 ... definitely much better sound quality than Flip series, louder and longer battery too!"

The Flip 6 will be the best bang for your buck. It blows the competition away at this tier. I was in a similar situation not long ago and returned a few to Best Buy.
The flip 6 was a huge upgrade and I actually chose it over the garage 5 even when it was on sale as it just sounded better. I bet the charge 6 is the same way
Flip 6 or flip 7. Their really portable and sound just as good as the charges. If you want a powerbank then you should look into the charge 5
No there's practically no difference between the flip 6 and charge 5. Aswell as the flip 6 to the flip 7 and charge 5 to the charge 6 have no difference and nothing major different then the old models. If you don't need a powerbank get a flip 6
The Chinese speaker has strong bass, but it becomes annoying over long listening sessions. Overall, the JBL Flip 6 is worth a try. If I were to recommend one, go for the Bose Flex 2 – its bass sounds more authentic.
Bro motion 300 doesn't come close to Flip 6 in the terms of clarity, instrument separation and bass, but still jbl is a little bit harsh. My first Bluetooth speaker was tribit stormbox micro 2, a bit smaller than average portable speakers and I love it's sound profile it was best to my ears. Later on I tried tribit sound plus, JBL flip 6, motion 300, and currently I'm having Bose SoundLink flex Gen 2. Bose is not everyone it doesn't have a bright sound. And the soundstage is narrow but still somehow it's favorite to Many. I didn't try tribit stormbox flow but I heard it has same sound profile as tribit stormbox micro 2. Tribit sound plus is also called audiophile level speaker so you can try sound plus 2. Motion 300 bass some time so bad that unbearable.
I have a JBL Flip 6 that sounds very good and has a decent bass thump. The comparable Bose is a little better to my ears at twice the price, but I’m frugal and the stretch wasn’t worth it to me.
My pair of PartyBox 120s are my fav. I also have a pair of JBL flip 6s and pair of UboomXs
I have had the flip and the wonder boom, the wonder boom is by far the better speaker, those things are tough, robust, lighter, easier to carry. I got the flip 6 replaced on warranty then a year later had it die again (I never top it out to work ) the wonder boom works out on a mine with me and hasn’t skipped a beat
The Flip 6 is probably the best speaker in that size category I've tried
I have the UE Megaboom 3 and the JBL Flip 6. I prefer the sound and bass of the JBL. Really impressive for its size.
