"these have the deepest, cleanest and "tumpiest" bass out there."
"the Devialet has cleaner, punchier, loud-without-overwhelming-the-mix bass."
"They're the best sounding by far. ... I find the stock tuning so good xD ... the Gemini is more balanced overall, with great oomph in the bass."

"Noble fokus rex5 best sounding change my mind. ... Five drivers per ear bud game changing for sure ... Yes, you're so right. They are by far number one. ... There may be a few airbuds that get better battery a little bit, better ANC but right now my two cents worth, there's nothing on a planet that sounds better than these. ... I have all the heavy hitters. The techniques 80/100 Sony 4 and 5 sennheisers 3 and 4 and the Devialet gemini II. ... Ronontech on YouTube did a review on the Aviot a few days ago. I belive he liked the Nobels better. ... Also on YouTube, check out Flossie Carter review on the Nobles, he went absolutely nuts. Best sounding wireless earbuds he has ever heard."
"As for gaming I'd probably rank them 1. A50 ... As for music I'd rank them 1. A50 ... And for movies I would rank them 1. A50."
"these fifth generation A50s sound better than anything I’ve ever used. ... New DAC, new Graphene drivers, really nice sounding."

"If you want portable that you can take outdoors and get wet, check out the Bose Soundlink Max and Soundlink Flex. I have the flex and take it paddleboarding and camping and love it! Bonus: it floats!"
"they are by far the loudest small size speakers"
"The 4 sounds phenomenal given it's size - if I put it next to my hifi speakers you wouldn't realise that the sound was coming from that little cylinder rather than the hifi"

"Literally bombproof! ... Vermont winters/rain subzero temperatures!"
"the IPX7 rating makes it perfect for wet environments like the shower."
"Mine has been stepped on, played with by my sheep, dropped, rained on, dunked in water, beat on by ducks and geese, you name it. Still works great."

"The Flip has a bit more juice with a 12-hour battery"
"lasts all day"

"battery life has been EXTREMELY disappointing for me. Not disappointing, but EXTREMELY disappointing. ... Huawey claims 4 day on a regular use. Ive seen a few youtubers claiming 5 day usage (on normal mode. Not battery saving mode). ... I have always on DISABLED, autobrightness, im not using the gps, i dont receive that many notifications and im not using a particularly demanding watchface. Im only getting TWO days usage between charges, which is the same i was getting on my Galaxy watch, which is 7 years old, and has a fully-fledged OS and app store."
"The Soundcore VR P10 I had would always die during my longer sessions. ... I think the P10s were rated for 5 hours but would almost never reach 5 hours."
"dying after 3 hours of use"

"the mono audio is really obvious. ... JBL doesn’t do as good of a job however."
"Yeah, I got in on that deal too. I bought two, in the hopes that the "audio link" feature could make them work in proper stereo. However, that wasn't the case, so I returned one set. ... Audio link works, but it simply duplicates the mono audio to each speaker. I was hoping it could be setup somehow for proper stereo mode, where one is the left speaker, and one is the right speaker."
"it doesnt sound like car speakers. Like its coming from one source, instead of a stereo surround sound like a cars."

"THERE IS NO AUX INPUT OR OUTPUT. Anything you plug in like a microphone or music source that doesn't have bluetooth must be USB-C."
"I wish they had an aux port though. ... Might end up buying the ULT 7 just so I can use it for movies."
"No jack either nor USB C Audio, which the Beats Pill provide and is a nice feature to have."

"Its bass seemed totally neutered."
"I got a JBL Xtreme 4 yesterday and was VERY disappointed in its performance as far as bass goes. ... The highs were crisp and loud, but the bass topped out at 1/2 volume and just continued to get drowned out the higher I went. ... It was pretty pathetic, maybe I got a dud I'm not sure. ... For $400 plus tax, it should sound way better than that."
"if compensated with EQ it will start to distort even on "medium" volume"

"Charge 5 has a slightly higher waterproof rating. It is louder with better audio quality than the Flip 6. ... in my experience my Charge has been much better at delivering clear and audible sound in my backyard than my Flip 6 ... definitely much better sound quality than Flip series, louder and longer battery too!"
"Sub-Bass (20-60Hz) basically cuts out"
The Flip 6 will be the best bang for your buck. It blows the competition away at this tier. I was in a similar situation not long ago and returned a few to Best Buy.
The flip 6 was a huge upgrade and I actually chose it over the garage 5 even when it was on sale as it just sounded better. I bet the charge 6 is the same way
Flip 6 or flip 7. Their really portable and sound just as good as the charges. If you want a powerbank then you should look into the charge 5
No there's practically no difference between the flip 6 and charge 5. Aswell as the flip 6 to the flip 7 and charge 5 to the charge 6 have no difference and nothing major different then the old models. If you don't need a powerbank get a flip 6
The Chinese speaker has strong bass, but it becomes annoying over long listening sessions. Overall, the JBL Flip 6 is worth a try. If I were to recommend one, go for the Bose Flex 2 – its bass sounds more authentic.
Bro motion 300 doesn't come close to Flip 6 in the terms of clarity, instrument separation and bass, but still jbl is a little bit harsh. My first Bluetooth speaker was tribit stormbox micro 2, a bit smaller than average portable speakers and I love it's sound profile it was best to my ears. Later on I tried tribit sound plus, JBL flip 6, motion 300, and currently I'm having Bose SoundLink flex Gen 2. Bose is not everyone it doesn't have a bright sound. And the soundstage is narrow but still somehow it's favorite to Many. I didn't try tribit stormbox flow but I heard it has same sound profile as tribit stormbox micro 2. Tribit sound plus is also called audiophile level speaker so you can try sound plus 2. Motion 300 bass some time so bad that unbearable.
I have a JBL Flip 6 that sounds very good and has a decent bass thump. The comparable Bose is a little better to my ears at twice the price, but I’m frugal and the stretch wasn’t worth it to me.
My pair of PartyBox 120s are my fav. I also have a pair of JBL flip 6s and pair of UboomXs
Well, considering decibel, 60 db at 1m distance is really quiet for what I consider a usable speaker. If measured the same way. I think most portables I know are in the range of a maximum of 83-90. This is cause 10db jump equals roundabout a doubling of the felt loudness. So 10 more is much (so, ~20db more at ~80 is waay louder) Are you planning to have your speaker outside of the shower? And a bit far away? Cause I would even consider my phone to be loud enough to use while lying next to my shower, so I would say get a good small one like soundcore select 4 go, that’s noticeably louder and thumpier than my phone, can be tweaked over the in app eq to your liking and is waterresitant so it could be placed next to you in the shower. If that’s not enough, i would choose a speaker with a 2-way setting (mid-woofer + tweeter) for more highs like the Sony ult field 1 oder Jbl flip 6. if it’s just for podcasts, I wouldnt go bigger than that cause i guess that mostly means just more bass, which might even be contraproductive since it might make it harder to understand vocals / speech.
I have had the flip and the wonder boom, the wonder boom is by far the better speaker, those things are tough, robust, lighter, easier to carry. I got the flip 6 replaced on warranty then a year later had it die again (I never top it out to work ) the wonder boom works out on a mine with me and hasn’t skipped a beat
The Flip 6 is probably the best speaker in that size category I've tried
