Flip 6 or 7, put them next to a Charge and you would be confused as to what went wrong with the Charge models. They just lack the bridging ooomf that they should have, the sound does not match the price, size and look. Go flip 6 or 7 you won't be disappointed or UE Boom 3.
The Flip 6 will be the best bang for your buck. It blows the competition away at this tier. I was in a similar situation not long ago and returned a few to Best Buy.
Right now, i‘m using the flip 6 but the battery is too small and the sound isn‘t really convincing on 100% volume. I‘m thinking about buying the Charge 6 because I wouldn‘t say the Flip 6 is too quiet, but maybe a Little bit more would be good. The other alternative would be the soundcore Boom 2 plus But i don‘t know if it would be too big for transportation. Are there any other speakers for 140 euros that make sense for my use case (used on eBay is also okay but they need to last for a couple years). It also is a plus if I Can Connect them to my pc via usbc audio. But it isn‘t a must.
the Basketball courts where I live are mostly empty or just visited by my Friends and myself. So I am always around 1 hoop
TL;DR - I got these speakers after a fake JBL Flip 6 I bought. Would you want to get more speakers astounded three sizes here, or would you go for bigger/smaller? And which would you prefer? Above is my speaker lineup. I fell into this quagmire because of a fake JBL Flip 6 in 2023 from Aliexpress. Tried asking for a refund only to realise the store had been deleted, so I couldn't make the request. 😭😭 I wished for a better speaker in 2024, which led me to the Motion+ and got my first real speaker. Not long after, I saw the Boost and found that it was a great speaker, while being lighter than the Motion+, so I got one. Last year, I had given it to my sis and when I got it back, it had problems. The top part got loose and I tried fixing it with super glue, making it worse. So I got into the search for one as good as the Boost and especially had a mic, leading me to getting the rest. The Stormbox 2 was the closest to the Boost for me, but it wasn't as clear as the Motion+ or even the Select 2S. So I got back to searching. My search led me back to a Motion+ speaker sold in my country, but even the cheapest one here was quite expensive. Still got it and aside the financial constraints, I don't regret it. Then FINALLY, I saw the 2 Boost speakers you're seeing in this image from eBay, though they're deemed as refurbished. Saw that there were 2 left, with over 800 people watching closely, and I decided to grab both. Glad I got them. To the last one at the back, the Oraimo Spacebox Active... that, I'm not proud of. I'd be fine with it if I hadn't found the Boost earlier, though. For a first speaker, it's good and loud, but not as clear as the Boost. After all these, do you think I should go for more, or should I stay with these? And if I should go for more, would you go bigger or smaller? And which specific ones?
The Chinese speaker has strong bass, but it becomes annoying over long listening sessions. Overall, the JBL Flip 6 is worth a try. If I were to recommend one, go for the Bose Flex 2 – its bass sounds more authentic.
Bro motion 300 doesn't come close to Flip 6 in the terms of clarity, instrument separation and bass, but still jbl is a little bit harsh. My first Bluetooth speaker was tribit stormbox micro 2, a bit smaller than average portable speakers and I love it's sound profile it was best to my ears. Later on I tried tribit sound plus, JBL flip 6, motion 300, and currently I'm having Bose SoundLink flex Gen 2. Bose is not everyone it doesn't have a bright sound. And the soundstage is narrow but still somehow it's favorite to Many. I didn't try tribit stormbox flow but I heard it has same sound profile as tribit stormbox micro 2. Tribit sound plus is also called audiophile level speaker so you can try sound plus 2. Motion 300 bass some time so bad that unbearable.
