JBL - Go 3

Don’t get me wrong, I have a JBL Go3, great for my niche application. Love the Charge 4, but the wife “liberated” it. I have seen some positive takes around the 2955-20. If you’re the kind of person who’s got one spare cleat available up top, and more amp hours than work hours, maybe this speaker is the play.

2955-20 wasn’t too bad when I heard it. Have been eyeballing when a field mechanic busts one out. I use a JBL Go3, it’s okay sound for a great price. Lightweight

I have the jbl go 3, it makes a great sound but compared to theese it's a toy, a friend has an older model of the sony and the sound quality is a very big difference, i was thinking maybe the flip 6 but I think it's weaker then theese ones

Hi everyone, I recently tried the JBL Go 3 and really liked how much it vibrates under heavy bass. I also own the Soundcore Motion+ and UE Wonderboom 3, but those don’t give off the same satisfying vibration. I’m looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker (under $200 USD) that delivers strong vibration with bass, ideally equal to or more than the JBL Go 3. The more physical feedback and rumble, the better. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I appreciate the suggestions.Yeah, I get that the JBL Go 3 doesn’t have deep or powerful bass compared to bigger speakers, I’m not really after sound quality in this case. What I really like about the Go 3 is the physical vibration or rumble it gives off when bass hits or music playing. It’s something I can actually feel when I hold it or place it on a hard surface, and it’s surprisingly satisfying. Do you know if the Flip 5 or Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 have that same kind of tactile vibration effect? Like, do they shake or rumble noticeably?

The JBL Go 3 fit my criteria. It was small and cheap. So I think a bigger & more pricy one would offer even better.

I understand. I was thinking that it would be preferable to leaving an iPad in the room. The smaller JBL Go 3 speakers are quite decent for sound and small enough to pop under a pillow.

For my travel speaker, I bring a JBL Go 3. I actually have 2, one for my bathroom so I can listen in the shower and one for my travel pack so I can listen in the privacy of my hotel room.

I recommended the go 3 cos it was the last jbl go speaker that didn't have any annoying apps and the go 3 sound good

Get the jbl it has cleaner bass and over all sound clean I have a flip 6 a go 3 and they both sound really nice I do recommend both

Yeah my JBL GO3 is the best I've owned.

I really like the JBL Go 3 (and I’ve had several good headphones, speakers, studio monitors).

JBL devices usually have some decent value for money but on that budget I think the best you’ll get is a Clip 5 or a Go 3.

JBL GO 3 best in sound, meh in battery backup.. Bought for 2299 in Amazon Sale, Tribit X Sound also an good one if you need long battery life..

It was a response to my comment first? What happened XD Well yea at least they say it's crap even in the spec sheet. 140 hz is pretty horrible, jbl go 3 goes deeper.

I have this speaker (next previous gen) and 2 Ankers. Comparing this speaker and the Soundcore 2, the Anker is louder but the sound quality is definitely better on the JBL. Clarity, good highs, better bass. The JBL is well and truly waterproof. One day I was kayaking along and I wondered what that odd burbling sound next to me was. Well it was the Go 3, at the end of it's tether, merrily burbling along next to the kayak. That was a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. The downside of the JBL is that if you use it outdoors a lot, the rubber lettering will fall off. Mine's missing the L, the !, and soon the B. Still sounds great.

I find that there are places where I bring my little speaker (JBL Go 3) where anything larger just wouldn't work. #1 use case is in my kayak. IN, not on, so the sound is only for me.

JBL Go. Newer gens are pretty overpriced imo, older versions were cheaper and sounded great. Buy the clip if you want to hang it but honestly I would just go for the GO.

Even a basic Jbl Go is enough to listen to a podcast in the shower, well unless the bathroom is 30m² and you place the speaker opposite the shower + you lie down with your ears underwater in the bath 😂 WTF

I like the Wonderboom 4 by UE. I have version 2 good sound and a small footprint. Soundcore glow mini should be good. I heard the regular Glow : good sound. JBL go is solid too.

Thanks for sharing. I will check this out for sure! I actually have the JBL Go and really like it but when I’m at home, I want something that is a bit more expansive

The JBL Go will do this job very well and won’t break the bank at all.
