JBL Link 20 is water resistant not water proof. And its battery powered so you can take it in there not needing an outlet. However once the battery stops charging its toast even if you leave it plugged in. Mine died within a year. Also you don't get the EQ settings in Google home app with this speaker. Google blames JBL and JBL blames Google for removal of the setting. Google is saying JBL wanted it removed because people bumped the bass up too much blowing the speaker out and filing warranty claims. JBL is saying Google doesn't allow 3rd party speakers to have all the settings. Its a nice speaker tho if you can still find a new one. Its been discontinued.

r/googlehome • Looking for a wireless battery powered speaker to connect to my Google home and use with speaker groups ->I have had the JBL Link 20 for years and I think it is my favorite product with google home capabilities. It has been my dedicated bathroom speaker the entire time I have had it, so it is constantly in high humidity and I do occasionally use it in the shower where it gets misted with water, but I don't have it getting just directly hit and saturated.
