"The partybox ultimate would give a tad more of that deep bass, clarity, loudness, basically turning everything up to 11🔥🤣"
"offer brutal bass for their sizes"

"The JBL partybox series have zero delay - if you plug into the daisy chain port"
"The nice thing about the Partybox is that in addition to your typical aux input it also has a daisy chain input. The daisy chain input circumvents the JBL processing and allows the mixer to do it instead ... You can circumvent the processing the Partybox does by using the Daisy Chain input. ... If you use the regular aux-in and not the "Daisy Chain" in (there are two different inputs using 3.5 mm aux), the Partybox does its own processing that causes minor latency from the mixer. You can circumvent the processing the Partybox does by using the Daisy Chain input."
"helpful comment of the day imho ... If you input through the daisy chain there's no delay. ... For parties: get a good partybox which does have a non DSP input (so it does not cause delay)"

"And when we do karaoke out in the woods, everything just goes through the JBL PartBox. That thing sounds AMAZING."
"I have 2 JBL party box 100s and I have played house parties and campouts with 50-60 people, 2 of them is enough to play at 50% volume so you aren't getting near limiting/crackling."

"the Partybox does its own processing that causes minor latency from the mixer. ... It clips like crazy if the sound isn't turned way up. ... Some speakers like the JBL Partybox have their own processing going on so there's a slight delay."
"I’ve used a JBL party box with auxiliary from my xdj before, there was definitely a delay between the mixer and the speaker…first few mixes were atrocious! took a while to get the hang of it"
"Doesn't it have DSPs which cause delay? ... For parties: get a good partybox which does have a non DSP input (so it does not cause delay)"

"The JBL PartyBoxes consume so much power at party volume that they are mainly intended to be plugged in. ... The rechargeable battery is just an extra, I think. 🤷🏻♂️"
"the Partybox might be a stretch at 10 hours as it will probably be running closer to full blast"

"I'd say it's probably not going to cover it, that's a pretty big area if you're talking about being 15m away from the speakers."
"Outside spread out it can be weak for 20"

"If you have the 100 model JBL, also pick up a very short extension cable as the reciver bumps into the gain knob if plugged in directly."

"Hardest part is splitting the audio to mono aux left and right, otherwise stereo will play out of both."
I have Partybox 100s and 710s as well as hooking then up with a Soundboks, no audible latency using auxiliary.
r/DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: Latency with Aux connection in JBL Partybox speakers ->We run a JBL PartyBox 100 with a couple of inexpensive wireless mics. Then Bluetooth Karafun from laptop or phone or tablet. You can also run the audio and lyrics on a home audio system and keep the vocals on the PartyBox. This works really good for us. Portable when you want it and more professional feel when hosting a party.
r/karaoke • Best at home karaoke system? ->If you have the 100 model JBL, also pick up a very short extension cable as the reciver bumps into the gain knob if plugged in directly.
r/karaoke • Best at home karaoke system? ->I would highly recommend JBL over the Sony since they have a more well rounded sound for mixing I think the sonys sound tinny and sharp. I have 2 JBL party box 100s and I have played house parties and campouts with 50-60 people, 2 of them is enough to play at 50% volume so you aren't getting near limiting/crackling. Other main selling points on the JBL is the fact they have a speaker stand mounts so you can get them up to ear level on a tripod. Better input/output ports. Sound good on battery power and even better when plugged into power Decent built in lights that offer a small amount of light to dance in
r/Beatmatch • Anyone using Sony XV900 or JBL Partyboxes for gigging or small parties? ->I have em. Sound is ok at best. Fine for some background music while working on something the garage/driveway, but almost no bass, and not loud enough for any sort of gathering. For a fraction of the cost, a decent Bluetooth speaker would be MUCH better, and more useful for life in general.
r/gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->I just don’t see the value in the tailgate speakers. They’re ok at best in my opinion. Not very loud, not much bass, rarely useful, and WAY overpriced at $800. The sub sounds excellent and I use it daily, so I’m very pleased with that purchase. But if I had it to do over again, I’d get something like a portable JBL party box over the tailgate speakers, which is half the price, 5x the sound power and clarity, and portable making it useful in many other situations beyond when I’m within listening distance of my tailgate.
r/gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->As another commenter mentioned, about the only positive is the wow factor when showing off your truck. But any time spent using these will likely lead you to disappointment. I seriously can’t recommend the sub enough though. It’s not overpowering like a sound system from my teenage days, but compliments the existing stereo perfectly with just the right amount of bass, while the custom designed enclosure fits the truck perfectly and still creates a bit of storage space. Get the sub and a party box Bluetooth instead of the multipro and you’ll be pleased all the way around.
r/gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->I agree. For the price and quality of frequency range. Other option would be a Yamaha HS3’s with a sub.
r/PioneerDJ • 8yo got a FLX4 for Christmas! (need speaker help, please!) ->The JBL partybox series have zero delay - if you plug into the daisy chain port
r/PioneerDJ • Travel speakers ->For practicing at home: even small 3" bookshelfs suffice like a Presonus Eris 3.5. The point is there must be relevant bass as low as about 80hz. For parties: get a good partybox which does have a non DSP input (so it does not cause delay) and has a line level output for the Presonuses you bring for monitoring :) (as you cannot connect monitors to the FLX4)
r/PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small parties? Suggestions? ->You need a RCA >> 1/4 cord. You won't find a lot of portable speakers with RCA inputs. I'd recommend a JBL Partybox. They are a great value, but they are't on Prime Day sale.
r/Beatmatch • Best Portable Party Speaker - Prime Day Sale ->I've used 2 party box speakers as my main left/right and studio speakers as my monitors, with no discernable latency issues between the mains and monitors. NOTE: I had both partyboxes plugged into power, because I noticed that they are quieter and not ass punchy when running off their battery.
r/DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: Latency with Aux connection in JBL Partybox speakers ->I use a JBL partybox. Has aux input, has a battery for portability (goes well with a portable FLX4) and has really good bass and is loud enough.
r/PioneerDJ • 8yo got a FLX4 for Christmas! (need speaker help, please!) ->Singa made a video during Halloween where they featured a JBL: [https://youtube.com/shorts/tHW6meQfqIA](https://youtube.com/shorts/tHW6meQfqIA) They seem to be using the JBL PartyBox with microphones. I have used this myself and you just have to connect the Partybox through Bluetooth to your TV! No need for a mixer. I think Ultimate works in the same way. Then download the karaoke app on your TV or have it through a laptop that you connect with HDMI.
r/karaoke • JBL Party box Ultimate karaoke setup HELPPP ->Soundboks works great. I'm in a traveling baseball team, and every team has speakers. Most of the speakers don't impress me. JBL PartyBox is a good option entry level with good sound quality and budget friendly. Different size options and different budget options as well. Soundboks seems to be the best option out there, but pricing seems a bit steep. You get the loudest DB in battery-powered speakers I can find with the loudest highs and bass. The sound quality is excellent. Bose S1 Pro I'm highly impressed with it. The output and size from such a small package it's really sounds impressive all around, definitely a winner in sound quality. Other than the 3 mentioned, either I haven't discovered another good portable battery-powered speaker option, or they're not impressive enough for me to research and look them up. So, for now, these 3 are my personal recommendations. If anyone has some additional input or recommendations, I'd love to see them. It is always good to know other options in the future.
r/Beatmatch • Best battery powered speakers? ->Jbl partyboxes are some of the hardest hitting loud asf speakers with good quality audio in the market. Do you have a budget ud like to stick to or dou you want the best of the best😎😎
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest Bluetooth Speakers? ->If you input through the daisy chain there's no delay. I run two of these for my mobile setup. Hardest part is splitting the audio to mono aux left and right, otherwise stereo will play out of both. I use RCA into a RCA to Aux converter.
r/PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small parties? Suggestions? ->I just use regular RCA cables as long as I need, which keeps it simple and cheap and then have two adapters at the partybox into port. I don't know where I got mine, but linked is the same thing. I haven't run a party with this setup yet, but I've tested it at home. I think the only thing I've noticed is that the output is quieter per speaker. I can't tell if this is because the mono signal only fires out of one side of the speaker or if splitting the left and right makes it inherently quieter. Still loud enough to use. r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best party speaker for £150 ($200) ? ->My simple home karaoke setup works for me and will probably work for you, too. Been doing home karaoke parties for YEARS and people LOVE our setup. Simple and clean. Laptop, JBL PartyBox portable speaker, wireless mics The laptop runs karafun and plays the music through the surround sound. Wireless mics plug into portable speaker for vocals, so they can be adjusted as desired.
r/karaoke • Proper mixer, or simple wireless mic's for use with TV and Soundbar? ->That's what we do. Works great. All volums can then be adjusted as desired. And when we do karaoke out in the woods, everything just goes through the JBL PartBox. That thing sounds AMAZING.
r/karaoke • Proper mixer, or simple wireless mic's for use with TV and Soundbar? ->JBL Partybox! Easy to cary with the handle, super powerful, excellent audio quality, good battery and can run on ac outlet, can be paired with other partybox and well build.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • DJ looking for portable speaker system ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
