Additional-Train419 1.0For 150-200$ look out for a partybox encore essential (used or not) this is the only portable speaker that has heavy bass). Or even look out for some used 100 series partybox
bythirsti 1.0JBL Partybox 100 is what I use and its pretty damn good until you get lots of people in front of the speaker. If you have the money I would dish out for a Soundboks but thats 3x the price of a partybox so.

Sithlord_77 1.0Generally speaking anywhere that displays The installment price right on the item. Isn’t somewhere you want to shop. I’d look into a JBL partybox. I have 2 of the 100s and they are great. We are getting close to the time of year that people liquidate them. ~200-250 a piece cheaper if you can still find a 100 but they are pretty scarce.

We do popup karaoke at campsites all the time and i busker anywhere the mood strikes. The speaker is loud, the sound is full and deep. Cast the music from your cellphone and that's all ya need.
Zealousideal-Turn-30 1.0JBL Partybox serie 100 or 300 should do the trick. Otherwise, a cheaply option would be a soundbar with a subwoofer. Since it will never move and don’t need the waterproof, it will cost about 200$ for 200W+ of sound.
dr-phils-taint 0.1JBL charge series is always a great buy, With a $150 budget. I have had my JBL charge 3 since 2018, only recently upgraded to the party box series, because I wanted something bigger and with way more bass. For a desk speaker the charge 4-5 is perfect, it has enough bass with EQ added. The flip and the other smaller ones that you can clip on, are going to be slightly quiet compared to the charge series. The charge series is the happy medium between good sound and portability.
