This has been my go to. I use it for home theater and karaoke. I eventually bought 2. Only 1 is enough for karaoke. 2 is better for a venue or bar. Set up below assumes you have tablet, phone, or smart tv. https://slickdeals.net/f/17924691-jbl-partybox-110-portable-160w-bluetooth-party-speaker-w-lighting-effects-199-free-shipping?attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3AFalse&src=SiteSearchV2Algo1 You can get a cheap mic set like this. https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Microphone-TONOR-Rechargeable-TW-630/dp/B0859S2NTJ/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2BHRPWHW6GXA6&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.aMVFrJ97hW41oel5gaJf_H9B0_vee7fRaUpHD82pJ00mqUScH1fyHTeMOeeh2JLQ1MaqKkf39hbn6IeHk3Rf9H0k62qsPsopONYyH3bGOP7GAmB4w5-pTNZ-dtf2MBMYd5B-nGTZcyj2a_VfWJeC-NZYr0_gQ0tIf5YYVK9Cv06o3lK3yu2HMEsBjfixss8siwUBtSnpFjvX-3ZoZR1YTZbsVcu0dolta09mHlOUTSL0fVGfQlUMw2gOOiBwvzYAFb2a-h3o4tdEoUhFxhqUD-_lvVlaoOQM5gbpl_dGsYE.pO2rC49PFgSb1t_GHyF5nhGlUp6g3XPoQ_R18yvhN7k&dib_tag=se&keywords=wireless+mic&qid=1733056247&sprefix=wireless+mic%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-8 Or go with the ones I have https://www.amazon.com/JBL-PartyBox-Wireless-Mic-Rechargeable/dp/B0CTDJ45M4/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2BHRPWHW6GXA6&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.aMVFrJ97hW41oel5gaJf_H9B0_vee7fRaUpHD82pJ00mqUScH1fyHTeMOeeh2JLQ1MaqKkf39hbn6IeHk3Rf9H0k62qsPsopONYyH3bGOP7GAmB4w5-pTNZ-dtf2MBMYd5B-nGTZcyj2a_VfWJeC-NZYr0_gQ0tIf5YYVK9Cv06o3lK3yu2HMEsBjfixss8siwUBtSnpFjvX-3ZoZR1YTZbsVcu0dolta09mHlOUTSL0fVGfQlUMw2gOOiBwvzYAFb2a-h3o4tdEoUhFxhqUD-_lvVlaoOQM5gbpl_dGsYE.pO2rC49PFgSb1t_GHyF5nhGlUp6g3XPoQ_R18yvhN7k&dib_tag=se&keywords=wireless+mic&qid=1733056247&sprefix=wireless+mic%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-5

Beatmatch • Recommendations for hitting that loud/cl... ->The 110 all the way. For 200$ thats a steal
JBL • JBL110 vs Onn large party speaker ->Alright here’s the deal - I have been staring at all the options for over a year+ - Sony - Samsung - JBL - HISENSE…. Onn came up recently as I was desperately trying to decide on an option for an upcoming event… I actually have seen and played with Sony, Samsung and JBL at the local Best Buy - even getting stared at by employees bc of the overly loud testing lol Nonetheless - I recently decided to swing by local Walmart and see what the $119 deal was all about… it’s literally a JBL 110 with a different name on it. I bought 2 and picked up a tripod set on sale in Amazon for like $50. Best investment I ever made. Onn gives you mic and guitar input with individually controlled gains for each input plus aux bt and FM RADIO. JBL gives you the app that lets you customize the leds and then some and tws to other models plus some other cool features. Onn on the other hand and IMO keeps it simple - you turn on one speaker connect via Bluetooth and tws to a second speaker - you can add up to 4 of various models. no apps and no fanciness - just connect, stream and go. And honestly the price is perfect considering the versatility and how often I’m truly going to be using these. Plus they are not too heavy, super portable and easy to clean and look at. The led screen on the ONN it’s a nice addition imo bc it also helps you ID the speaker (left or right - left is always primary connection to Bluetooth) and shows you the loudness mode (bass or outdoor) plus it shows you the internal battery status - charging or full. So for me it was more of a being cheap bc for the price of ONE JBL you can have 2 Onn’s + nice stands to keep them off the ground, looks somewhat professional and covers a decent outdoor event. I don’t regret it… depending on how business moves I may get the other 2. Hope it helps!
JBL • JBL110 vs Onn large party speaker ->110 has more bass and is cheaper, unless you want the removable battery.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What are the Best Bluetooth Spe... ->You dont need the 120 unless you want the removable battery, the drivers on the 110 are bigger and its on sale right now for $199. This thing you linked is pure trash don’t do it. If you want something cheaper buy the onn large party speaker for $110
Bluetooth_Speakers • Thoughts? I don't see any revie... ->JBL110 is way better cheaper alternative imo
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->Description in the title. I’m demoing different speakers to see what I want to commit to. Have so far used a single JBL Partybox 110 at a halloween house party and everyone thought it was too loud. I took it back and got a Sony SRS-XV900 today. Tried it out and it is loud for my house but idk what crowd size this could be suitable for or whether I would need two of em. Also this thing is heavy and def not on a stand. Again, I am demoing to see what I like but this was a jump in power and am wondering what crowd application that this could be good for.
Beatmatch • Anyone using Sony XV900 or JBL Partyboxe... ->2x 110's might be the better option, since you can place them apart for better sound dispersion. But I think that'll go over your budget?
audio • Party Speaker(s) Recommendation Needed- Mic ... ->I have the Onn speaker, and for the price it's decent but doesn't compare to the JBL
Bluetooth_Speakers • Onn party speaker or JBL party ... ->Not a bunch but a solid group. JBL Encore Essential - Use that for my office when I want loud so that I can focus work or karaoke with my daughter. JBL PartyBox 110 - That’s for the party and for get togethers. Hangout outside and use it. I do also bring the Encore around but the 110 is a better battery life. This doesn’t get used as much as I can’t blast it all the time and the encore and charge 5 are good enough for me on the daily. JBL Charge 5 - I use this the most in my bedroom hanging out using my iPad or laptop. Bring it everywhere when I want music for myself, podcast or movies on the iPad. Definitely my overall favorite. I use it also to fall asleep to listening to podcast or calm music. JBL Go 4- I bring this for trips to listen to podcast, music. It’s so light and easy to pack or pocket. TRIBIT Micro 2 - Also a travel speaker or just bring around my house with me ifI don’t feel like lugging the charge 5 around. My daughter uses it a lot more now because I use my Go 4 if I want to go around with something lighter. I do like the tribit sound better for sure but the Go 4 is so light and easy to bring around and the sound is decent to me. Bose Micro Soundlink - Strictly used as a bathroom speaker now but it so damn good I’ll take my ti,e while in there lol. Sounds amazing still but it uses micro usb so that’s annoying now. Obviously I’m a JBL fan but I’m open to looking at the W KING D20 for beach days because of the price and it uses usb c to charge.

JBL • JBL110 vs Onn large party speaker ->Wish I would've gotten this before I bought the JBL on Friday! You're use of 2 Onn's is where I was heading but went with JBL because I read highs and mids were better outdoors. In reality I primarily just need a porch speaker, hopefully don't come to regret it. Thanks everyone.
JBL • JBL110 vs Onn large party speaker ->And seems like op is looking for some waterproofing and the newer jbl 110 and 310 partyboxes are. You can get used 310 for like 250-350 bucks. Its a solid speaker. I myself use the older partybox 300 as my grab and go setup with a laptop and a cheaper deck i can bring outside. The older 300 has just straight rca input and output, but the newer one has 6,3mm jacks. Makes for a pretty epic 3-4 hour cable free beach rave. it goes up to 106db so it's not that quiet either.
Beatmatch • Best Bluetooth speaker to use with a mob... ->The smaller 110? Its pretty portable🤷🏼♂️
Beatmatch • Best Bluetooth speaker to use with a mob... ->W-King X20 is super loud but sounds better outdoor than in door. Check out Harmon Kardon’s eBay page they own JBL and sell new and factory refurbished JBL speakers at a discount with manufacturers warranties. Reviews say they are basically brand new speakers. Look at the Partybox series you can get a JBL Encore or 110 on sale for $250 or less and they will sound 10x bigger than a Boom 2. Stay away from the Partybox-on-the-go it’s the only Partybox that’s weak and shitty. The rest of the models are superb.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best party speaker for £150 ($2... ->Harmon Kardon’s eBay page has refurbished boombox 2’s with a manufacturers warranty for $240. They also have Partybox’s new and refurbished with warranties $300-$400. The Partybox is your best bet if size is not an option.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Highest quality SOUND for under... ->The party box will always sound fuller especially the higher the volume and you’ll hear the bass from further away. It really depends on your use case though. If you need it to be rugged and have long battery life the boombox is your best bet. You can fashion a shoulder strap for it I did on my OG boombox. It performs its best with a lot of hard surfaces near it like cement floors, walls. Not so good in wide open outdoor spaces. For wide open spaces party boxes are the answer. I have a BB1 and an Xtreme 2. Both together I can get away with about 10ish people being loud and about 30 feet away in open space BBQing at the park before it’s noticeably weaker than I want it to be. This can be good if you don’t want to disturb people around you though. I’m thinking of getting a Partybox 120 if it goes on sale.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Highest quality SOUND for under... ->I highly recommend a JBL boombox 2 or 3. I have the first generation and it’s great. If you want to save money go for the Tribit Storm Box Blast. For fully water proof those are the best options. They will all definitely be loud enough. If you want louder and don’t care about water proofing go for the jbl Partybox series.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Boat Bluetooth recommendations? ->Look for a new or refurbished JBL Partybox and avoid the Partybox on the go model and you will be happy. Check out Harmon Kardon’s eBay page they own JBl and sell their speakers new and factory refurbished. For that much you could get a Partybox 110 either new or refurbished for a few bucks less. If you don’t want JBL then check out the W-King X20. It’s the loudest non Partybox you can get around that price point. It’s really loud and heavy AF for its size.
Bluetooth_Speakers • A good party speaker under 300$ ->Does it have to be water proof? Are you planning on taking it out or keeping it inside the house or both? Do you want huge sound or background music or the ability for both. If it’s large sound JBL partyboxes are king. If you want to keep it portable. I suggest a JBL Boombox. If it’s just for inside the house and you aren’t planning on loud music the Harmon Kardon go + play 3 is great or a JBL authentic 300 or 500.

Bluetooth_Speakers • A good party speaker under 300$ ->Those are both good. The xv500 has longer battery life, more pairing and connectivity options, but the essential is much smaller. JBL110 might be another option in teh same size as the xv500, when running on battery it can get louder than the sony and has deeper bass, but also not as long battery life as the xv500.
Bluetooth_Speakers • $300 bestbuy gift card; looking... ->Partybox encore sounds better and has deeper bass than the Boom 2 plus, however boom 2 plus has longer lasting battery, if you can get the partybox 110 thats even better because it has 2x 5.25” woofers compared to 1 on the encore so it is way way stronger at bass, I’ve heard it and the bass is amazing on it.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bass speaker under 200 ->Singa made a video during Halloween where they featured a JBL: [https://youtube.com/shorts/tHW6meQfqIA](https://youtube.com/shorts/tHW6meQfqIA) They seem to be using the JBL PartyBox with microphones. I have used this myself and you just have to connect the Partybox through Bluetooth to your TV! No need for a mixer. I think Ultimate works in the same way. Then download the karaoke app on your TV or have it through a laptop that you connect with HDMI.
karaoke • JBL Party box Ultimate karaoke setup HELPPP ->You need a RCA >> 1/4 cord. You won't find a lot of portable speakers with RCA inputs. I'd recommend a JBL Partybox. They are a great value, but they are't on Prime Day sale.
Beatmatch • Best Portable Party Speaker - Prime Day ... ->I've used 2 party box speakers as my main left/right and studio speakers as my monitors, with no discernable latency issues between the mains and monitors. NOTE: I had both partyboxes plugged into power, because I noticed that they are quieter and not ass punchy when running off their battery.
DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: L... ->I’ve used a JBL party box with auxiliary from my xdj before, there was definitely a delay between the mixer and the speaker…first few mixes were atrocious! took a while to get the hang of it
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->If you sprung for the Omnis Duo you might as well get a Wave-Eight. It will sound 1000× better than any dinky little Bluetooth speaker like that. Ok, but now that I've fully read your post (lol sorry) I would probably recommend one of the smaller JBL party boxes, assuming they have the daisy chain input/function. Edit: Sadly the Partybox Encore does not appear to have the daisy chain input. Unfortunate.
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->Some speakers like the JBL Partybox have their own processing going on so there's a slight delay. The nice thing about the Partybox is that in addition to your typical aux input it also has a daisy chain input. The daisy chain input circumvents the JBL processing and allows the mixer to do it instead, but then it's also just on at the highest level and the master on the mixer is what controls the volume. So yeah, your speaker is probably doing some kind of processing that affects the latency of what actually comes out.
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->Jbl partyboxes are some of the hardest hitting loud asf speakers with good quality audio in the market. Do you have a budget ud like to stick to or dou you want the best of the best😎😎
Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest Bluetooth Speakers? ->The JBL partybox series have zero delay - if you plug into the daisy chain port
PioneerDJ • Travel speakers ->I have em. Sound is ok at best. Fine for some background music while working on something the garage/driveway, but almost no bass, and not loud enough for any sort of gathering. For a fraction of the cost, a decent Bluetooth speaker would be MUCH better, and more useful for life in general.
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->I just don’t see the value in the tailgate speakers. They’re ok at best in my opinion. Not very loud, not much bass, rarely useful, and WAY overpriced at $800. The sub sounds excellent and I use it daily, so I’m very pleased with that purchase. But if I had it to do over again, I’d get something like a portable JBL party box over the tailgate speakers, which is half the price, 5x the sound power and clarity, and portable making it useful in many other situations beyond when I’m within listening distance of my tailgate.
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->As another commenter mentioned, about the only positive is the wow factor when showing off your truck. But any time spent using these will likely lead you to disappointment. I seriously can’t recommend the sub enough though. It’s not overpowering like a sound system from my teenage days, but compliments the existing stereo perfectly with just the right amount of bass, while the custom designed enclosure fits the truck perfectly and still creates a bit of storage space. Get the sub and a party box Bluetooth instead of the multipro and you’ll be pleased all the way around.
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->Get the partybox encore or 110! Crazy bass on all of those
Bluetooth_Speakers • I can’t decide on a Bluetooth s... ->Soundboks works great. I'm in a traveling baseball team, and every team has speakers. Most of the speakers don't impress me. JBL PartyBox is a good option entry level with good sound quality and budget friendly. Different size options and different budget options as well. Soundboks seems to be the best option out there, but pricing seems a bit steep. You get the loudest DB in battery-powered speakers I can find with the loudest highs and bass. The sound quality is excellent. Bose S1 Pro I'm highly impressed with it. The output and size from such a small package it's really sounds impressive all around, definitely a winner in sound quality. Other than the 3 mentioned, either I haven't discovered another good portable battery-powered speaker option, or they're not impressive enough for me to research and look them up. So, for now, these 3 are my personal recommendations. If anyone has some additional input or recommendations, I'd love to see them. It is always good to know other options in the future.
Beatmatch • Best battery powered speakers? ->There are a few ways you can go, really depends on budget and how deep you want to go and what your space is like. The gym I go to just has one of those Bluetooth party speakers which works fine, it's a smaller space and fills it okay. If I was setting up my own space and I'd do something more substantial but I'm a bit of an audio nerd. You can get some stereo amplifiers and in ceiling speakers would be the ideal setup. The size of your space is going to dictate how many speakers you need but you could consult with a local audio installer or post some more specifics for better advice. It ultimately comes down to your space and your budget, or just keep it simple and use a Bluetooth speaker like the JBL partybox.
bjj • Speaker systems for gyms ->For practicing at home: even small 3" bookshelfs suffice like a Presonus Eris 3.5. The point is there must be relevant bass as low as about 80hz. For parties: get a good partybox which does have a non DSP input (so it does not cause delay) and has a line level output for the Presonuses you bring for monitoring :) (as you cannot connect monitors to the FLX4)
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->If you input through the daisy chain there's no delay. I run two of these for my mobile setup. Hardest part is splitting the audio to mono aux left and right, otherwise stereo will play out of both. I use RCA into a RCA to Aux converter.
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->I just use regular RCA cables as long as I need, which keeps it simple and cheap and then have two adapters at the partybox into port. I don't know where I got mine, but linked is the same thing. I haven't run a party with this setup yet, but I've tested it at home. I think the only thing I've noticed is that the output is quieter per speaker. I can't tell if this is because the mono signal only fires out of one side of the speaker or if splitting the left and right makes it inherently quieter. Still loud enough to use. [RCA to Aux Adapter](https://www.cablewholesale.com/products/audio-video-products/audio-video/product-30s1-12200.php?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw99e4BhDiARIsAISE7P8c_wElpkRUqS89PFOACYAXmXiEunjTsJ7F8NigSgMTEEJSOsjllcQaAp4UEALw_wcB)
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->The JBL PartyBoxes consume so much power at party volume that they are mainly intended to be plugged in. The rechargeable battery is just an extra, I think. 🤷🏻♂️

PioneerDJ • 8yo got a FLX4 for Christmas! (need spea... ->I use a JBL partybox. Has aux input, has a battery for portability (goes well with a portable FLX4) and has really good bass and is loud enough.
PioneerDJ • 8yo got a FLX4 for Christmas! (need spea... ->Here's the problem. The Partybox will sound better and have deeper bass, but the Soundboks will get about 2-3x louder. A lot of this depends how much area you need to cover. Also the Partybox might be a stretch at 10 hours as it will probably be running closer to full blast, although a power bank could help it last longer. I generally say if it's under 50 people then the Partybox is fine, otherwise go for the Soundboks or another option from here https://www.speakerranking.com/portable-party-speakers/ Check out the ranking of nearly every single Bluetooth speaker and the best EQ tuning for each of them [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Teufel Rockster Air 2 vs JBL Pa... ->JBL Partybox! Easy to cary with the handle, super powerful, excellent audio quality, good battery and can run on ac outlet, can be paired with other partybox and well build.
Bluetooth_Speakers • DJ looking for portable speaker... ->wpuld say either harbinger vari or JBL partybox, JBL is gonna have a more complete sound out of the box but you'll be able to upgrade down the line with the harbinger to have a subwoofer, and maybe a second PA. even so, outdoor parties with 300 guests means that you're not gonna fill the whole space at your budget, but maybe that's not what you really needed. if you're planning on going bigger/more professional, get that 2000W PA and start saving. If not, the partybox will be just fine.
Beatmatch • Versatile Speaker Set Up for Parties ->I have a full 5.1 Sonos system in my living room with Sonos ones scattered around and while I love it, it was very expensive ( I think I’ve probably invested $1500+). I started with a pair of ones and liked it and it’s nice to be able to upgrade and expand. A Partybox encore or 110 would also be a great option with more bass than you’ll know what to do with plus the added bonus of being able to move it around and take on the go
