Agree, I have the partybox 300, pretty decent warm sound. I also have the charge 4, that I use to bring easily on camping without a car etc. The extreme's are better than charge's. But yeah I would recommend the partybox series myself. 100's are a bit small, but possible to put in a backpack. 300 has decent sound for 10 people with dancing

I would go with a partybox, generally the larger the better, just whatever is in the budget. Do some research before you buy tho, some of them have their unique twists, such as my 300 isn't compatible with the app, something I could've avoided if I'd done a bit of snooping around.

I love my JBL Party box 100. I tried the 300, but the 100 sounded better to me. I feel like its the best cordless speaker that I've heard. It is large though.

Piggybacking as I’m in a similar situation, lol Probably be 65ish people total, my buddy has a JBL party box 300 and we were thinking to get a mic (open to suggestions) the use it for ceremony/cocktail hour/speeches/dancing etc. I was thinking it might be worth it to rent/buy another one (or 2?) though mostly just for the music. I’ve only got smaller JBL speakers but they all seem to link together pretty seamlessly regardless of model and definitely don’t want to be straining to hear the beat.

Idk why but my partybox 300 does not have a delay when i play with rca connection. But with the aux it does have and its baaaad. The newer ones might not have the straight rca input but do have 6,3mm jacks so they might work. Atleast they dont have any lag with microphones so why would they have with a controller? 🤷🏼‍♂️

JBL Partybox serie 100 or 300 should do the trick. Otherwise, a cheaply option would be a soundbar with a subwoofer. Since it will never move and don’t need the waterproof, it will cost about 200$ for 200W+ of sound.

Don’t fall victim to to the ai hate. I have had multiple JBL speakers throughout the years from charge 3 and charge 4 to party boxes and have never had any trouble with any of them. If there is any truth to the fires it probably fake shit you buy off of temu

JBL Party Box, biggest one you can afford. But honestly Id save more money and look into RCF JMix8, its not battery powered but it knocks good bass for the price and highly portable.
