Yeah, we screwed around with some crummy ones for a few years before biting the bullet. It’s not cheap, but it is perfect for this use.
Softball • Bluetooth speaker for softball games ->This speaker is absolutely the bomb for softball games.
Softball • Bluetooth speaker for softball games ->My JBL Partybox Ultimate, but my JBL Partybod 310 is pretty rad, too.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Those of us with multiple Bluet... ->Jbl partyboxes are some of the hardest hitting loud asf speakers with good quality audio in the market. Do you have a budget ud like to stick to or dou you want the best of the best😎😎
Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest Bluetooth Speakers? ->Well a partybox 710 would be killer for your use case and fits within your budget easily, if you wnana up a notch, you can go for the partybox ultimate but that costs quite a lot more. Either way both will be plenty loud for your use case. The partybox ultimate would give a tad more of that deep bass, clarity, loudness, basically turning everything up to 11🔥🤣 If it's too large for you, you can explore their partybox 320 or 310 on sale. Both are very similar but 320 has removable battery but costs more. If that's still too big, a jbl boombox 3 or a wking x20(slightly lower audio quality but higher peak volumes) would be ok still but depending on how loud your environment is, these smaller ones might not suffice. If you have a outlet and won't need the speakers to be easily portable, the partybox 710 and ultimate would be for you. If you wanna lower the budget a bit and wanna have options for battery and better portability(these 2 both have a luggage like handle and small wheels) you can go for the partybox 310 or 320. If you wanna have the best portability and battery you can go for the jbl boombox 3 or wking x20(for more volume instead)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest Bluetooth Speakers? ->You can probably get 2 jbl partybox 310 or 320 on sale, those will be awesome and adequate. 1 might be enough volume wise if in a small room but it would sound wierd as sound is only coming from 1 speaker, 2 will definitely work in 90% of conditions
Bluetooth_Speakers • Speakers for Christmas Party ->Dose the partybox 310 count as a portable? I love mine i have a pair of them this going on 3 years use them for a haunted corn maze
JBL • Which is your favorite JBL portable? ->I’m looking to buy a new portable bluetooth speaker with some solid bass and pretty clear sound. I’m not an audiophile by any means but can tell the difference between quality sound. I have tried several bluetooth speakers in the past such as the beats pill, jbl flip 6, jbl charge 5, sonos move 2, treblab hd 360, and jbl party box 310. Out of the ones i’ve tried, the sonos move is my favorite in terms of size, design and sound. the jbl party box obviously sounds the best for me in terms of bass but is a bit too big for me. the other speakers I have tried were too small/ lacked the clean bass I like. I really enjoy the sound of those two speakers because it is very clear and solid sounding with pounding bass without sounding cheap. what would be a solid speaker for me to buy preferably something portable, durable, has solid bass, and under $400? Also, i am not someone who really cares about having a flat balanced sound signature or accurate sound and all that. if it sounds good and solid then i like it. i guess i prefer the sound signature of companies like sonos, jbl, and harmon kardon. it would also be useful to mention that i usually listen to rap, hip hop, trap, pop, rnb, and stuff like that. that may be why i prefer the speakers that i do since these music genres usually have a lot of bass/treble.

The Partybox can run off battery, and also get a volume boost when plugged in.
audio • Party Speaker(s) Recommendation Needed- Mic ... ->I bring my Partybox 310 to one venue where I play. Besides keeping the master volume down as Bohica suggests, I also keep the bass down and boost the treble.
Beatmatch • Anyone using Sony XV900 or JBL Partyboxe... ->If there is somewhere reasonably safe to store them and you can justify the massive space they take up, the JBL Partybox line are pretty great past the 110 size. I have a 310 in my shed and love it.
Makita • Can anyone who knows about speakers tell me... ->And seems like op is looking for some waterproofing and the newer jbl 110 and 310 partyboxes are. You can get used 310 for like 250-350 bucks. Its a solid speaker. I myself use the older partybox 300 as my grab and go setup with a laptop and a cheaper deck i can bring outside. The older 300 has just straight rca input and output, but the newer one has 6,3mm jacks. Makes for a pretty epic 3-4 hour cable free beach rave. it goes up to 106db so it's not that quiet either.
Beatmatch • Best Bluetooth speaker to use with a mob... ->Yep but this is ment to be a party speaker not full fledge portable and take everywhere. Mostly ment for taking around the house and putting it on your porch and stuff but still could be better.
JBL • My 2nd JBL speaker. Loved the partybox 310 alr... ->2 x JBL Partybox 310 1 x JBL Flip 5 1 x JBL Flip 6 1 x Audisse Shirudo ...and looking to buy a Harman Kardon Go + Play 3
Bluetooth_Speakers • How many Bluetooth Speakers Do ... ->It sounds like you don't need the durability of the "portable" lineup (IP67 waterproof/dustproof), I would look at the PB 310 for it's good balance of loudness, battery life, and pretty good sound. For reference, the Encore is about 4db louder than the Xtreme3, while the 310 is about 10db louder than the X3. The 110/120 sits in the middle at around 3db louder than the Encore.
JBL • Best JBL Speaker for loud outdoor environments? ->This, I have two party box 310’s and have played weddings and parties with them! Great bang for buck and portable!
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->No, the JBL PartyBox 310 is great and unrivaled in its segment. Apart from the newer 320s, of course. 😉
Bluetooth_Speakers • Speaker for Travel Ball ->Well, if that's the case, then I would advise you to get one or two JBL Partybox 310/320s. Although it's not as loud as the Soundboks go, it sounds more balanced overall and has a nicer deep bass and should be loud enough for small to medium-sized parties. The larger JBL Partybox 520 is due to arrive in May. Maybe it's worth waiting for that. 🤷♂️ Of course, if you have the option of connecting the speakers to the power supply outside, you have other options. Then you can also look at professional PA systems.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the loudest portable sp... ->I have both a Partybox 310 and a 120. In my at-home setup one speaker is connected to a pioneer vm-70 monitor speaker with close to zero delay, and the other speaker is one of the partyboxes. I notice a very tiny delay on both partyboxes, probs in the double digit milliseconds, not horrible but you notice it a tiny bit compared to a pair of monitors. You can use the partyboxes perfectly fine at parties, guests won't notice it
DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: L... ->I can confirm that Partybox 310 doesnt have any latency, however aux input sucks as it degrades the sound quality as compared to bluetooth. You could use guitar jack as a workaround, but it adds "colouring" to the sound.
DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: L... ->I use a 310 all the time and don't notice any latency. Both a Prime GO and an RX2 with RCA out to 3.5mm on the speaker and never noticed any latency. If you're concerned and still want one big portable speaker I'd check out a Soundboks. I've used those as well with no latency.
DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: L... ->You could get a JBL 320, that will fully fill the room. If you can find the 310 for cheaper, then get two. It's more than plenty sound for a large room and they are portable so you'll get more use out of them. Put them up high if you can spaced a bit apart. You might also look into party rental places. They will rent you a couple PAs and the setup for a much cheaper price.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a large speaker ->If size isn't a concern go for the JBL 310. It's a better speaker that costs less than the boombox 3. The Xtreme 3 is underwhelming compared to its competitors. The uboom x sits nicely between the Xtreme and the boombox series and is another speaker I would recommend. The tribit Stormbox blast 2 is also good for the money and probably the closest speaker to the boombox 3. It's not as clear as the boombox 3 but it's significantly cheaper.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Jbl boom box 3 worth the price? ->I recently got a reconditioned Soundboks 3 for $599 but I may be sending it back and getting the Partybox 320. As nice as the SB is outdoors, I use it mostly indoors and the PB 310 I tried out had better low end bass, a quieter noise floor, and no Bluetooth pops when stopping music. As nice as the side handles are on the SB, I can’t imagine carrying it without a cart or dolly of some sort. The SB backpack isn’t too useful for me outside since I would probably be carrying football equipment in a large bag with a shoulder strap already when I take my son for training sessions. Another nice thing about the PB is being able to play max volume while plugged in and not worry about the battery, which is great for those extra motivational basement gym sessions. But, for some reason I’m sure I’ll wish I had the SB if I get the PB.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for bass... ->I have the JBL partybox 310 , it's not portable but size but it has wheels so you can stroll it . But it's crazy good, and it will last a lifetime without failing. It has a signature JBL pro sound which can be a bit bass heavy but not in a boomy way. It's all about prefferences I recommend JBL if you want to be on the safe side No crazy features like a Kia but totally reliable like a Toyota Plus there are now plenty of model PB available based on poweroutput and size .
Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for help. Searching for... ->Bro doesn’t care about audiophile quality sound and just wants bass and Bluetooth. Just get a JBL Partybox 310. I could tell you to go buy a pair of vintage 15” Cerwin Vegas and a giant amp and you’d be absolutely blown away (along with the paint on your walls) - but really just go get the partybox. You’ll be happy with it. You can take it tailgating or whatever too and the battery will last all day.
StereoAdvice • budget speakers for garage that can p... ->I have 2 310s and 2 Encore Essentials. They are neat...issue is you cannot connect more than two wirelessly to each other. JBL has all sorts of contracting marketing out there and support articles. Kind of annoying. You are able to connect more via wires Daisy chain but Daisy chain connections kill the wireless speaker to speaker pairing. Just few a few things to be aware of if it was something you imagined doing with these.
Bluetooth_Speakers • bose or jbl or sonos? ->Singa made a video during Halloween where they featured a JBL: [https://youtube.com/shorts/tHW6meQfqIA](https://youtube.com/shorts/tHW6meQfqIA) They seem to be using the JBL PartyBox with microphones. I have used this myself and you just have to connect the Partybox through Bluetooth to your TV! No need for a mixer. I think Ultimate works in the same way. Then download the karaoke app on your TV or have it through a laptop that you connect with HDMI.
karaoke • JBL Party box Ultimate karaoke setup HELPPP ->You need a RCA >> 1/4 cord. You won't find a lot of portable speakers with RCA inputs. I'd recommend a JBL Partybox. They are a great value, but they are't on Prime Day sale.
Beatmatch • Best Portable Party Speaker - Prime Day ... ->I've used 2 party box speakers as my main left/right and studio speakers as my monitors, with no discernable latency issues between the mains and monitors. NOTE: I had both partyboxes plugged into power, because I noticed that they are quieter and not ass punchy when running off their battery.
DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: L... ->I’ve used a JBL party box with auxiliary from my xdj before, there was definitely a delay between the mixer and the speaker…first few mixes were atrocious! took a while to get the hang of it
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->If you sprung for the Omnis Duo you might as well get a Wave-Eight. It will sound 1000× better than any dinky little Bluetooth speaker like that. Ok, but now that I've fully read your post (lol sorry) I would probably recommend one of the smaller JBL party boxes, assuming they have the daisy chain input/function. Edit: Sadly the Partybox Encore does not appear to have the daisy chain input. Unfortunate.
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->Some speakers like the JBL Partybox have their own processing going on so there's a slight delay. The nice thing about the Partybox is that in addition to your typical aux input it also has a daisy chain input. The daisy chain input circumvents the JBL processing and allows the mixer to do it instead, but then it's also just on at the highest level and the master on the mixer is what controls the volume. So yeah, your speaker is probably doing some kind of processing that affects the latency of what actually comes out.
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->The JBL partybox series have zero delay - if you plug into the daisy chain port
PioneerDJ • Travel speakers ->I have em. Sound is ok at best. Fine for some background music while working on something the garage/driveway, but almost no bass, and not loud enough for any sort of gathering. For a fraction of the cost, a decent Bluetooth speaker would be MUCH better, and more useful for life in general.
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->I just don’t see the value in the tailgate speakers. They’re ok at best in my opinion. Not very loud, not much bass, rarely useful, and WAY overpriced at $800. The sub sounds excellent and I use it daily, so I’m very pleased with that purchase. But if I had it to do over again, I’d get something like a portable JBL party box over the tailgate speakers, which is half the price, 5x the sound power and clarity, and portable making it useful in many other situations beyond when I’m within listening distance of my tailgate.
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->As another commenter mentioned, about the only positive is the wow factor when showing off your truck. But any time spent using these will likely lead you to disappointment. I seriously can’t recommend the sub enough though. It’s not overpowering like a sound system from my teenage days, but compliments the existing stereo perfectly with just the right amount of bass, while the custom designed enclosure fits the truck perfectly and still creates a bit of storage space. Get the sub and a party box Bluetooth instead of the multipro and you’ll be pleased all the way around.
gmcsierra • Multi pro tailgate speakers ->I’d go for a partybox 310 or 320, or two would be even better. If you want to save a bit more, go for one or two stormbox blast speakers.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a large speaker ->Something like a jbl 310/320 or sony xv800 should easily be enough and make for a great party, maybe even the smaller ones like jbl 110/120 or sony xv500
Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a large speaker ->Soundboks works great. I'm in a traveling baseball team, and every team has speakers. Most of the speakers don't impress me. JBL PartyBox is a good option entry level with good sound quality and budget friendly. Different size options and different budget options as well. Soundboks seems to be the best option out there, but pricing seems a bit steep. You get the loudest DB in battery-powered speakers I can find with the loudest highs and bass. The sound quality is excellent. Bose S1 Pro I'm highly impressed with it. The output and size from such a small package it's really sounds impressive all around, definitely a winner in sound quality. Other than the 3 mentioned, either I haven't discovered another good portable battery-powered speaker option, or they're not impressive enough for me to research and look them up. So, for now, these 3 are my personal recommendations. If anyone has some additional input or recommendations, I'd love to see them. It is always good to know other options in the future.
Beatmatch • Best battery powered speakers? ->Nothing else with a battery has as deep of bass as a Partybox 320/310. Bose isn't even close. You can see all [speakers ranked here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for bass... ->Here's the problem. The Partybox will sound better and have deeper bass, but the Soundboks will get about 2-3x louder. A lot of this depends how much area you need to cover. Also the Partybox might be a stretch at 10 hours as it will probably be running closer to full blast, although a power bank could help it last longer. I generally say if it's under 50 people then the Partybox is fine, otherwise go for the Soundboks or another option from here https://www.speakerranking.com/portable-party-speakers/ Check out the ranking of nearly every single Bluetooth speaker and the best EQ tuning for each of them [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Teufel Rockster Air 2 vs JBL Pa... ->For the deepest bass of any battery powered speaker the Partybox 320/310 is by far the best. Only downside is it's only IPX4. For something with full waterproofing you probably want something like 2 Tribit Stormbox Blast which are IPX7 See nearly every single speaker ranked [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for a high quality port... ->There are a few ways you can go, really depends on budget and how deep you want to go and what your space is like. The gym I go to just has one of those Bluetooth party speakers which works fine, it's a smaller space and fills it okay. If I was setting up my own space and I'd do something more substantial but I'm a bit of an audio nerd. You can get some stereo amplifiers and in ceiling speakers would be the ideal setup. The size of your space is going to dictate how many speakers you need but you could consult with a local audio installer or post some more specifics for better advice. It ultimately comes down to your space and your budget, or just keep it simple and use a Bluetooth speaker like the JBL partybox.
bjj • Speaker systems for gyms ->For practicing at home: even small 3" bookshelfs suffice like a Presonus Eris 3.5. The point is there must be relevant bass as low as about 80hz. For parties: get a good partybox which does have a non DSP input (so it does not cause delay) and has a line level output for the Presonuses you bring for monitoring :) (as you cannot connect monitors to the FLX4)
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->If you input through the daisy chain there's no delay. I run two of these for my mobile setup. Hardest part is splitting the audio to mono aux left and right, otherwise stereo will play out of both. I use RCA into a RCA to Aux converter.
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->I just use regular RCA cables as long as I need, which keeps it simple and cheap and then have two adapters at the partybox into port. I don't know where I got mine, but linked is the same thing. I haven't run a party with this setup yet, but I've tested it at home. I think the only thing I've noticed is that the output is quieter per speaker. I can't tell if this is because the mono signal only fires out of one side of the speaker or if splitting the left and right makes it inherently quieter. Still loud enough to use. [RCA to Aux Adapter](https://www.cablewholesale.com/products/audio-video-products/audio-video/product-30s1-12200.php?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw99e4BhDiARIsAISE7P8c_wElpkRUqS89PFOACYAXmXiEunjTsJ7F8NigSgMTEEJSOsjllcQaAp4UEALw_wcB)
PioneerDJ • Good speakers for mixing at home/small p... ->The JBL PartyBoxes consume so much power at party volume that they are mainly intended to be plugged in. The rechargeable battery is just an extra, I think. 🤷🏻♂️

PioneerDJ • 8yo got a FLX4 for Christmas! (need spea... ->I use a JBL partybox. Has aux input, has a battery for portability (goes well with a portable FLX4) and has really good bass and is loud enough.
PioneerDJ • 8yo got a FLX4 for Christmas! (need spea... ->JBL Partybox! Easy to cary with the handle, super powerful, excellent audio quality, good battery and can run on ac outlet, can be paired with other partybox and well build.
Bluetooth_Speakers • DJ looking for portable speaker... ->Harmon Kardon’s eBay page has refurbished boombox 2’s with a manufacturers warranty for $240. They also have Partybox’s new and refurbished with warranties $300-$400. The Partybox is your best bet if size is not an option.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Highest quality SOUND for under... ->The party box will always sound fuller especially the higher the volume and you’ll hear the bass from further away. It really depends on your use case though. If you need it to be rugged and have long battery life the boombox is your best bet. You can fashion a shoulder strap for it I did on my OG boombox. It performs its best with a lot of hard surfaces near it like cement floors, walls. Not so good in wide open outdoor spaces. For wide open spaces party boxes are the answer. I have a BB1 and an Xtreme 2. Both together I can get away with about 10ish people being loud and about 30 feet away in open space BBQing at the park before it’s noticeably weaker than I want it to be. This can be good if you don’t want to disturb people around you though. I’m thinking of getting a Partybox 120 if it goes on sale.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Highest quality SOUND for under... ->I highly recommend a JBL boombox 2 or 3. I have the first generation and it’s great. If you want to save money go for the Tribit Storm Box Blast. For fully water proof those are the best options. They will all definitely be loud enough. If you want louder and don’t care about water proofing go for the jbl Partybox series.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Boat Bluetooth recommendations? ->Look for a new or refurbished JBL Partybox and avoid the Partybox on the go model and you will be happy. Check out Harmon Kardon’s eBay page they own JBl and sell their speakers new and factory refurbished. For that much you could get a Partybox 110 either new or refurbished for a few bucks less. If you don’t want JBL then check out the W-King X20. It’s the loudest non Partybox you can get around that price point. It’s really loud and heavy AF for its size.
Bluetooth_Speakers • A good party speaker under 300$ ->Does it have to be water proof? Are you planning on taking it out or keeping it inside the house or both? Do you want huge sound or background music or the ability for both. If it’s large sound JBL partyboxes are king. If you want to keep it portable. I suggest a JBL Boombox. If it’s just for inside the house and you aren’t planning on loud music the Harmon Kardon go + play 3 is great or a JBL authentic 300 or 500.
Bluetooth_Speakers • bose or jbl or sonos? ->wpuld say either harbinger vari or JBL partybox, JBL is gonna have a more complete sound out of the box but you'll be able to upgrade down the line with the harbinger to have a subwoofer, and maybe a second PA. even so, outdoor parties with 300 guests means that you're not gonna fill the whole space at your budget, but maybe that's not what you really needed. if you're planning on going bigger/more professional, get that 2000W PA and start saving. If not, the partybox will be just fine.
Beatmatch • Versatile Speaker Set Up for Parties ->got to connect to one of these for a bday party over the weekend. the thing could be heard across an acre of open field! might be buying one myself
Bluetooth_Speakers • bose or jbl or sonos? ->My simple home karaoke setup works for me and will probably work for you, too. Been doing home karaoke parties for YEARS and people LOVE our setup. Simple and clean. Laptop, JBL PartyBox portable speaker, wireless mics The laptop runs karafun and plays the music through the surround sound. Wireless mics plug into portable speaker for vocals, so they can be adjusted as desired.
