If you are SERIOUS you that bass and volume that can make you tap out, get 2 Partybox 320's in stereo pair. OMG WOW. If just getting one that's amazing, yet easily portable, get the 520. Get the 720 if you are rarely going to travel with it and it just sits at home. I have the BB3 Wifi, 2 320's, and a 710. Used to have the 110, but that often left me wanting more. I almost exclusively use my 320s for listening to everything. Don't forget about Facebook marketplace. Shhh ;)
720 and authentic 500 are good all round, nice mids and clear highs, obviously 720 has crazy bass but it somewhat sounds nuteral unlike brane x which is all about bass. it doesnt sound good its just for bass.
I got a 720 upgraded from the 710 and either one of them with do the job
Definitely the jbl partybox 720 would be awesome, the loudest but not as deep of bass would be the soundbox gen 4
I think the partybox 320 is the best bang for buck. It's roughly half the price of the 520 and it weighs 20lbs less. It's portable, gets loud and is reasonably priced. The 520 and 720 are bigger and better options, however at $880 and $1100 respectively, I don't think they're the best value. Price and portability aside, they'd be better options. Getting a pair of speakers will sound better in terms of coverage and allow for stereo output. I run a pair of 310s and my nephew has a pair of 320s. Very happy with both. The 120s are also a good pick in terms of price/output/size. It really depends what your use case and budget is. If we're running a pair of 320s by the fire at night, it bothers the neighbor 100 yards away trying to sleep. I guess I'm saying consider how much output is even appropriate for your situation.
Ahhh dang, that sucks. For me the 720 is a deal breaker because it can't be mounted on a speaker pole. I like getting my speakers up high so they have more throw and you can get the tweeters above your ears for less ear strain. I have a $4000 pa system that I bought used and if I really need the extra output, I'll run my 12" tops and 18" subs. It sounds incredible but it's more work to transport, setup/teardown, and find outlets to plug everything in. For this reason, I prefer the partyboxes for most use cases, so I might sell my pa next summer. The 310s work well enough for what I need and I just got some studio monitors that I can use for booth monitors. I have a Bluetti AC70 that I can run my mixer and studios monitors off, so it's still a completely off-grid setup. Going to try getting my 12" pa subwoofer in the mix as well and if that doesn't sound good with everything, I'll just sell that too.
Yeah. I've heard a few different PartyBox models. For me it's that the $3000 partyboxes are hot garbage. but the $300-900 ones are REALlY good.
JBL charge series is always a great buy, With a $150 budget. I have had my JBL charge 3 since 2018, only recently upgraded to the party box series, because I wanted something bigger and with way more bass. For a desk speaker the charge 4-5 is perfect, it has enough bass with EQ added. The flip and the other smaller ones that you can clip on, are going to be slightly quiet compared to the charge series. The charge series is the happy medium between good sound and portability.
Ty for following up and addressing this. I have 10+ battery powered JBl speakers from flip to PartyBox in my house
Joke lang, OP! Haha. JBL PartyBox lang kasi gamit namin. Pero di ko siya feel sa movies. Mas ok pa rin soundbars.
Depends on the speaker. Some of the delay is caused by Bluetooth, and some by the DSP (signal processing) - aux will bypass the Bluetooth, but not necessarily the DSP. Some speakers have minimal-to-zero lag on the aux (Minirig, Tribit Stormbox Blast) and some still have significant. For example I believe some of the JBL PartyBoxes have lag on the aux in but not on the daisychain as that bypasses the DSP :)
