"there's no way that the Luna is waterproof or dustproof to the extent of the JBL speakers. ... I mean look at the back of the Luna, the USB-C port isn't even gasket sealed lol. The port is completely exposed. ... And this is supposed to be dust and waterproof? Lol ya right. ... I have a lot less confidence in the fabric material on the Luna than on any JBL. ... But there's no way that this compares to JBL speakers for rugged build quality."

r/PioneerDJ • Travel speakers ->Depends on the speaker. Some of the delay is caused by Bluetooth, and some by the DSP (signal processing) - aux will bypass the Bluetooth, but not necessarily the DSP. Some speakers have minimal-to-zero lag on the aux (Minirig, Tribit Stormbox Blast) and some still have significant. For example I believe some of the JBL PartyBoxes have lag on the aux in but not on the daisychain as that bypasses the DSP :)

I have had my JBL charge 3 since 2018, only recently upgraded to the party box series, because I wanted something bigger and with way more bass. For a desk speaker the charge 4-5 is perfect, it has enough bass with EQ added. The flip and the other smaller ones that you can clip on, are going to be slightly quiet compared to the charge series. The charge series is the happy medium between good sound and portability.

r/psytrance • Best ~500€ bluetooth speaker for Psytrance ->What Adam says, the smaller JBL series have a passive membrane which serves as the Subwoofer, but its in no way as controllable Like a normal Driver. the ones inwould recommend are from the partybox series, they have sizeable drivers and two tweeters for the high frequencies
