"it sounds fucking amazing. ... I was blown away at Best Buy. I thought this was fake somehow like there is no way this thing is producing that bass and that level. ... The speaker is phenomenal. ... At first it was almost too bass heavy; but after an hour or two of playtime it broke in and the mids came alive, without loosing any bass. ... it still sounds fucking incredible."
"DIRAC which is like Dolby sound, so the soundstage is immersive and incredible. ... I could hear the orchestra turning the pages of their music. I could hear the hair of the bow as it glided across the bridge of a violin. It was like being in the middle of a concert hall. It was a little insane for this price range. ... The music had a broader soundstage back then in the studio...they took their time. Tweak your streaming service to lossless quality too, and then close your eyes and imagine the music happening TO YOU. Music should be a whole experience, not a time killer."
"still have quality sound and bass ... With a slight adjustment in the bass on Spotify + spatial sound, the Airpods fly! The bass and quality of the Airpods almost reach the same level as the XM4!"

"mostly because you can bring a second $99 battery pack to swap out of the first one doesn’t last long enough!"
"has a battery for portability (goes well with a portable FLX4)"
"does have an easily replaceable battery that just slides out instead of having to tear everything apart"

"Both of my Coleman Instant tents have holes in the floor after just 2 uses. Both of them leaked water in a moderate storm. ... The Coleman Instant Tent has a known issue with leaks so they sell an additional aftermarket rainfly. ... I have the rainfly. Doesn't even cover the windows.... The windows fill up with water and then the water started dripping right off the keeper for the windows screen...."
"After finishing up a trip this past weekend up in Maine I found out that my new 6 person Coleman tent is not water resistant to rain. ... I always thought Coleman made a decent tent until this past weekend when I found out the hardway with water seeping through every seem of the tent"
"The Go Play 3 attracts major dust. ... I am constantly dusting mine 3-4 times a day. ... If you let the dust pile up on the fabric material its not going to be easy to clean since the speaker isnt waterproof."

"For example I believe some of the JBL PartyBoxes have lag on the aux in but not on the daisychain as that bypasses the DSP :)"

"But the mics on the 320 don't go as loud as the music like outdoors cuz indoors it's very good"

"not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy. ... Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi."
"I just got these. Coming from the IE200 they feel *big*. ... Chunky, a bit heavy, and definitely not as comfy in the ear. ... I just wish they were smaller — the size is hard to ignore for me"
"that thing is so bulky and sits in the cabinet below the counter, I want to keep keep one on the counter…."
Either 2x jbl partybox 320s if you want a battery powered option or 2x 710s if you want s club level system but you would have to buy a separate battery pack like an anker c1000.
A brief fact-based comparison between the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 and the EarFun UBOOM X. The only advantages of the Blast 2 are a slightly higher maximum volume with acceptable sound, connection options for microphones (with reverb control) and the more elaborate party lighting. The UBOOM X has advantages in all other aspects. It can produce a deeper bass and a better overall sound quality, i.e. a more linear frequency response, better clarity, more authentic separation and reproduction of instruments and vocals. It really does have audiophile qualities. It can be charged more quickly via USB C, a shoulder strap is included, it is noticeably smaller, lighter and significantly cheaper. It can therefore be said that the UBOOM X is the better overall package for most users. It is the speaker for music lovers. The Blast 2, on the other hand, is better suited for smaller (karaoke) parties. For a real party, however, I would prefer a JBL PartyBox 320 or something even bigger.
Well, if that's the case, then I would advise you to get one or two JBL Partybox 310/320s. Although it's not as loud as the Soundboks go, it sounds more balanced overall and has a nicer deep bass and should be loud enough for small to medium-sized parties. The larger JBL Partybox 520 is due to arrive in May. Maybe it's worth waiting for that. 🤷♂️ Of course, if you have the option of connecting the speakers to the power supply outside, you have other options. Then you can also look at professional PA systems.
Go for powered (built-in amplifier) speakers. I have transitioned from bluetooth speakers to stereo bookshelf speakers and I am not going back. I have Q Acoustics M20. And if you need more bass, wait a year or two, save some money, and go buy a subwoofer and connect it with the speakers. I have an SVS SB-1000. For a small to s-medium room you will never get worried about clarity, volume and bass again. If you go bluetooth you will always ask for more. However, if it is for outdoor use spend as much as you can afford to a JBL Partybox (for your budget, I'd recommend 120 or 320). Don't go to Sony (no bass at high volumes, I have a XB-43). Don't go small, as before, you will ask for more very soon.
I'd also suggest the party box, the bose is nice for a more permanent home set-up. But the nice thing about the party box is its both powerful and good for events and taking karaoke to your friends house etc.
Nah I had a Sony boom box. I now have a JBL 320 stage. That shit is fucking loud. Did a test once I could hear it from over 320ft away. Plus the Bluetooth went that far too
I got a 320 stage it is actually amazing. The battery life is really good for how loud it can get too. Although it’s a bit expensive it’s a long term investment
I own both I’d go for the JBL it’s more powerfull and more consumer oriented.
the 320 will be far better in terms of bass
320 will get it done no problem
Absolutely. The wedding was outdoor in a sprawling backyard...the tent itself was 20x60. I never had to max it out either...
Fym no. The party box is not a studio speaker. Also the party box is quite robust. I’ve had it for over a year and a half now and it’s treated me great for a WORK speaker. Like genuinely have you owned a party box before? I personally have the 320 my coworker has a 710 both sound great for their price. Loud and has a lot of bass. The audio is very clear as well. Not as good as my Marshall but definitely great. I’m not arguing that tannoy isn’t better for home and studio or at least not the party box. JBL makes speakers like the tannoy 8 as well. It just depends on how much money you are going to spend or are willing to spend. Both server their purpose great
Bro I’ll literally make a video for you when my parents leave for work today. Like it has a LOT of bass. I get you don’t like them personally but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good speakers. JBL isn’t cheap lol. I got my party box 320 on the day it came out for 600 lol. Definitely should have waited for a sale tho. Also can you hear your tannoy from over 300ft away outside? No I didn’t think so
There are insane sales which makes comparison difficult. For example, here are sales prices I've found from big stores: - Boombox 3: 200e (from 599e) - Partybox Stage 320: 299e (from 599e) - Partybox Stage 120: 199e (from 399e) - Xtreme 4: 199e (from 349e) - Partybox 710: 319e (ftom 799e) I think all these are or and have been insane deals. I would say that Boombox 3 at 200e is maybe the best "worth it" for most, but for those wanting bigger sound Stage 320 at 299e was even better deal (these are the two JBLs I bought from this list at these prices).
