If you are SERIOUS you that bass and volume that can make you tap out, get 2 Partybox 320's in stereo pair. OMG WOW. If just getting one that's amazing, yet easily portable, get the 520. Get the 720 if you are rarely going to travel with it and it just sits at home. I have the BB3 Wifi, 2 320's, and a 710. Used to have the 110, but that often left me wanting more. I almost exclusively use my 320s for listening to everything. Don't forget about Facebook marketplace. Shhh ;)
Refurbished JBL Partybox 320, 520, or 720 is going to be the best of most worlds. JBL Partybox Ultimate paired with a power bank would be the best sound quality and loudest. If I were you, I'd get two JBL Partybox 320s and pair them in stereo mode. Can what turn then having different directions to cover a greater listening area Soundbox is loudest, but like a screaming at ya type of way. Not a balanced listening experience, imo
If you need a large party speaker, then the JBL Partybox 320 is definitely a good choice.
If you handle the speaker with care, I wouldn't have any major concerns.
I think that's exactly what the wheels are designed for. As long as you don't drag the Speaker over rocky ground, thick tree roots or stairs, everything will be fine.
If you're traveling with it that much, I wouldn't do the 320. Seems like it would be a pain in the ass. Two 120s would be great, or even two encore 2s. Those encores sound surprisingly well, and theyre really portable. Oh, and as for the handle on the 120, it's fine. It's sturdy enough to carry around the house or outside, but I wouldn't wanna walk a long distance with it. Too heavy for that.
in terms of bass quantity 320 will be better, but it has no chance regarding refinement and quality of sound. jbl is still using cheap tweeters for the 320, which have terrible dispersion and roll off sharply above 12khz
I use a JBL party box 320 :) I like that it rolls because it is heavy-ish.
If you want bass that can support a party- its the Partybox series, nothing else is close I was listening to my friends 110 I gifted her and was surprised how fricking solid the bass is. I have since moved on to a Partybox 320 and it has all the bass I need. But they say 2 is better, for the spatial stereo effect partly... but the bass is INCREDIBLE I also have a Charge 6 when I dont need the bass, portability is nice. The 320 is kinda portable and the wheels are super convenient. My daughter LOVES her Boombox 4, but there is only one of them. Not even close to the bass of any Partybox
