JBL Extreme 2 if you don’t mind something a little bigger than the flips and stuff. Sound is amazing on that one

I like the JBL boom box and the Xtreme 2. Excellent deep bass and great volume. Very ruggedly built and waterproof are added bonuses. Great battery life too. 6-8 hours when fully charged.

Klipsch Groove XXL its not water resistant but it's usually $175 or cheaper. It destroys the Xtreme 2 in every way. I know because I know I own both.

I have an Xtreme 2 and Harman Onyx Studio 9. The Onyx is a clear step up in clarity, fidelity and bass extension.

Charge 6 sounds better and smaller you’ll be shocked charge 4 sounds very similar to a xtreme 2 and the 6 is better then the 4 and the xtreme 2 is better then yours so I’d go for it

Charge 3 is so elite for having 3.5mm aux input. Same with Xtreme 2. I’ll keep those until the battery busts.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersHelp me choose the BEST portable speaker (BASE on your own experience)

The original JBL Xtreme is hands down the best portable speaker I've ever owned. If you're looking for bass, JBL speakers are the way to go, just don't go below the Xtreme model if you want bass. I've had every model from the Flip to the Boombox. The smaller ones sound great and get decently loud, but they lack the bass that the Xtreme delivers. The Boombox 3 (without Wi-Fi, with an AUX port) has the best bass, but it's not very portable. The Xtreme strikes the perfect balance between sound quality and portability. Xtreme 2 removed the second USB-A charging port but improved the strap and stand design. Xtreme 3 has slightly better sound quality than the X1 and X2. However, its battery was downgraded from 10,000mAh to 6,800mAh. It adds a USB-C port that can serve as a second charger and play audio. The stand is nearly nonexistent, but the strap retains the improved X2 design. Xtreme 4 features a removable 9,444mAh battery and an improved stand but removes the AUX port, meaning you're stuck with SBC codec over Bluetooth. Xtreme 1 models are rare these days, but if you get an Xtreme 2, you can use a USB hub to charge multiple devices. If battery life isn't a concern, the Xtreme 3 is a solid choice, especially if you can find it at a good price. I just picked up a lightly used one for $80.
