I bought my JBL Xtreme 3 from a guy who worked at construction sites and usted the speaker to play music in that enviroments so it's probably a good option for portability; but if you don't care about portability, then you should know that as of right now, JBL is the brand that liderates in the volume department.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Loudest Bluetooth Speakers? ->People is saying the opposite but i had the same experience. It loses all of its bass past 70% and the overall detail and clarity is not as good as on the Charge 5, strangely, and it doesn't even sound THAT loud.
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->Well, i had a JBL Charge 5 and a JBL Xtreme 3 and the difference in terms of bass was definetly noticeable, on the Xtreme 3 you could feel the bass and it was definetly deeper, though the Max volume difference wasn't THAT Big and actually, for overall sound quality (not focused on bass) i looked more the Charge 5. I see you are mainly looking for bass and some reviewers say that the Xtreme 3 has deeper bass than the Xtreme 4, but the Xtreme 4 has more definition and clarity in the mids and highs.
r/JBL β’ JBL Charge 5 users, are you happy with your portable speaker ? ->JBL extreme 3 has the best sound
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Best portable wireless speaker in terms of bass ->You say the build quality is great, but it looks like plastic. Is it rubber and can it take a drop like JBL for example. Have been looking to switch but I travel a lot and need something durable. I have had my Xtreme 3 since launch and it is still going strong after countless camping trips and hard drops on cement. They both just bounce and nothing is wrong. If the cover breaks, you can even replace it. Is it durable rubber or plastic?
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Full & Honest Sony ULT Field 7 Review - Great innovations and handling, but there is one problem ->I use a JBL Xtreme 3 to pair with my go, itβs definitely smaller than the Eon One and produces a surprisingly robust sound, and is waterproof & sand resistant.
r/DenonPrime β’ Speaker for beach/small party Dj Prime Go ->Oh sorry, I connect the go to the speaker using RCA to 1/8β stereo/3.5mm, I donβt bother with Bluetooth.
r/DenonPrime β’ Speaker for beach/small party Dj Prime Go ->I use 2 JBL Extreme 3's ( XLR > aux) when I want to be portable and I think they sound good and have not noticed any aux delay
r/DJs β’ Looking for small portable speaker with no aux audio delay ->Add a 2nd JBL Extreme 3 and you will be very happy you did ;)
r/DenonPrime β’ Speaker for beach/small party Dj Prime Go ->You can try the following option based on your budget and how louder you need it. JBL Flip 4 (Ultra portable, stereo, rugged) JBL Xtreme 3 or 4 (Step forward, still portable, gets very louder) JBL Boombox 3 (A little bit heavy but even powerful for outdoors)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ What's the cheapest, loudest, but decent quality Bluetooth speaker I can get? ->- JBL Flip 4 (What a warrior) the latest from the line up that was stereo. - JBL Xtreme 3 Size+Sound perfect to take anywhere - Sony ULT Field 7 Sounds Amazing
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Those of us with multiple Bluetooth speakers, what are your favorites? ->I love my Flip 4 and Extreme 3 π€ both are amazing and fits perfectly on my backpack.
r/JBL β’ Which is your favorite JBL portable? ->Flip 4 and Xtreme 3 are the best of each lineup. π
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ How many Bluetooth Speakers Do You Have? ->For what you're looking for I'd go with a JBL extreme 3 or sonos one.
r/audio β’ Any integrated 2.1 speaker that is wired, and has bluetooth and aux connectivity? ->The extreme 4 has a removeable battery and a different power rating when plugged in, so it may be doing something fancy, or maybe the 3 does as well. But your limiting factor is you want a 3.5mm jack as well, and tbh the sonos is nicer but doesn't have one. EDIT: I was going to suggest looking at audio engines, though 2 speakers may be more awkward to move around, and then saw they make the perfect speaker for you. Wall aC power, Bluetooth, 3,5mm, good sound quality, $200. https://audioengine.com/shop/wirelessspeakers/b2-wireless-speaker/
r/audio β’ Any integrated 2.1 speaker that is wired, and has bluetooth and aux connectivity? ->Extreme 3 is very good. I would go for that. Has very good base. Iβve also got a Marshall Stanmore 3 which gets loud, but it has to be plugged in,
r/JBL β’ Best speaker for just bass ->If deep bass and loud sound are top priorities, go for the JBL Xtreme 3
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Best speaker for bedroom? ->i solely use my xtreme 3 in the sauna when drinking beers and it makes the boards under my bare ass rumble so it's god damn good enough for me.
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->Best waterproof with aesthetics and great sound included are generally jbl's. A charge 5 you can maybe find for 100$ sometimes, going bigger would be the xtremes, and while those are not that much more powerful than the charge 5, the bass hits deeper and have a wider soundstage as well as carry strap if you're into that But yeah, for 200$, you can maybe find an xtreme 3, but while the xtreme 3 looks better than the 4(in my oppinion) it's worth it to go for the xtreme 4 for something over 200$ as it has removeable battery Charge 5 is waterproof, relatively cheap with the quality it provides and rugged af so it should satisfy you
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Best waterproof Bluetooth speaker of all prices for shower? ->Yeah, Iβd say JBL products are rather pricy for what they are. Iβd say thatβs a big thing they need to work ok but I doubt they will since there is always day a sort of cult following for their stuff. Β£320 for the xtreme 3 for me itβs crazy but that might but be me. I think for most people, their first speaker will sound very good to them, itβs only when you start to compare it with others that you can find its flaws and drawbacks.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Oluvβs Gadgets canβt handle being challanged π ->Xtreme 3 is a bit underwhelming. I still keep it since it is so easy to carry around, and it sounds good enough. It sounds clear, but not that balanced.
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->I've been searching for a Bluetooth speaker for a long time but still haven't been able to decide. I usually listen to rap and hip-hop, so bass is important to me. Additionally, it should have a stylish design and long battery life. The models I like are the Klipsch Detroit and Marshall Middleton. I previously used the JBL Xtreme 3, but I wasnβt very satisfied with it in terms of bass and design. Waiting for your helps. Thanks in advance. Edit: I think I need to provide more details after the comments. Iβm not looking for a speaker to throw parties outdoors. Iβm mostly looking for a speaker to listen to music in my office, and sometimes to watch movies at home.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ I canβt decide on a Bluetooth speaker, please advice me ->I've found that bang for buck if you don't need portability comes from soundbars with bluetooth subwoofers. You don't get portability, but they connect pretty easily and they're getting pretty cheap. You'll need to plug in to an outlet for the main unit and another outlet to power the sub. If you need portability, I've found the Bose soundlink sounds great at low volumes. I like the jbl xtreme 3 for big volume and outdoor activities, but it's not great at low volumes. Waterproof speakers lose some clarity at low volumes.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Best speaker for pure sound quality ->Xtreme 3 and 4 are stereo
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Are all portable bluetooth speakers mono? ->I found my mates charge 5 sound OK but it is not comparison to my xtreme 3 as the xtreme plays lower with more bass and it goes a lot louder unless it is just my xtreme but it gets almost as loud as my boombox 2
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->As an owner of all 3 I find myself using the flip 6 more often. It sounds amazing at low volumes. Perfect shower speaker, etc. But I loooove the bass in the Xtreme 3. But it doesnβt sound great at low volumes. But it absolutely slaps if you are bumping. Charge 5 is amazing as well but I seem to only use it when Iβm doing party boost. I just wish it had some sort of strap or clip. Anyone else have similar experience?
r/JBL β’ Which is your favorite JBL portable? ->JBL Party box 320 itβs A-fuckmazing but big and heavy JBL extreme 3 perfect to take anywhere JBL flip 4 mostly for my wife to listen to books on. A ton of cheaper ones I have given away.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Those of us with multiple Bluetooth speakers, what are your favorites? ->If you want a portable speaker with bass try the jbl Xtreme 3 or 4 they are amazing on bass and it's noticeable and of you really want a portable speaker with heavy bass for a portable speaker get the boombox 3 I have the jbl Xtreme 4 and boombox 3 and my boombox has a lot more bass compared to my Xtreme 4
r/JBL β’ Any way to get more bass on iphone? here are my EQ settings for spotify and jbl portable app ->I have a JBL Xtreme 3 which is pretty loud and has a strap so you can just have it over your shoulder. I've never used it while Onewheeling though because I always use AirPods instead.
r/onewheel β’ Favorite bluetooth speaker for riding? ->My oppinion is that the extra price really goes towards its quality. Be it charge, flip or xtreme, after some 2 years or more it won't look outdated, it'll still sound great for its size cathegory and though you might get a relatively cheap price for it if you sold it it definately wouldn't be as cheap as almost all of the other brands, and if you still keep it you'll get back to that quality of theirs that they still look amazing and sound great for their size cathegory This is what i came to realise after 2 years of xtreme 3. Costs a lot but if i am to buy other speakers i'll go with jbl because they're super rugged, reliable and lasting
r/JBL β’ Disappointed with Charge 5: Portable, But Not Worth the Price ->I have a test this speaker early in the shop and sound incredible with it's price i haven't buy yet because i already have xtreme 3 and its sound alot better (apparently whith cost distance ) :)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Xiaomi Sound Outdoor ->I just got the Xtreme 3 for Chrismas and the first couple of days I wasn't a big fan. I wondered if my Charge 4 (which i have used for 3 or 4 years now) is better. But those doubts passed once I got used to the bass. I used it at 2 partys and everyone tought it's so much better + it's a lot louderthe only thing that bothers me now is a kind of white noise while the music is playing. I mean the noise is really quiet but when I'm alone in my room and the volume is down I can hear it and I'm not a big fan. Otherwise I find it great for partys or when you're outside, so if you like listening music with your friends it's a good choice, BUT if you're gonna listen only at home when you're by yourself I consider the Charges 4 and 5 a better option moneywise
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->i own 2 extreme 3s very happy with them also clip 4 but that doesnt connect to em π
r/JBL β’ Which is your favorite JBL portable? ->If you're lucky you could get an Xtreme 3 at that price but it's usually like 60$ more. I don't think you can get something that fits your needs for 150$ if there is no special offer or something.
r/JBL β’ best portable speaker for movies? ->I have two Extreme 3s and Stereo mode them for an even better sound. I tend to carry these around on the go I also have a Boombox 3. But mainly keep it home cause itβs on the heavier side
r/JBL β’ Which is your favorite JBL portable? ->One of my coworkers has a charge 5 that he uses at work, and it's fine enough for real-world loud kitchen environment. I have an extreme 3 and now 4, which is what I use, and it can get just loud enough while still being good sounding. I ALSO have a Boombox 3, 110 and 2 710 which are all just too big to take to work. I feel like the boombox would be the best speaker to have if you can only have 1 speaker but for my purposes is the least used one.
r/JBL β’ Disappointed with Charge 5: Portable, But Not Worth the Price ->JBL extreme 3 or if it's too big, the Charge 5 is really good as well. You could also get 2 charge 5s for that price and you'll have a much better soundstage since most bluetooth speakers are mono
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Bluetooth speakers suggestion under $250 ->Play them at the same volume indoors. The xtreme will destroy it. The bass is deeper but not powerful enough to be noticeable outdoors. The charge 5 plays upper bass frequencies which are easily heard in almost any environment even outdoors. Deep bass needs hard surfaces to bounce off or more power to hear it out in the open. Itβs really just a logistics issue with size and power and what frequencies it plays because the boombox doesnβt have this issue since itβs more bigger and powerful.
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->The Sony you picked has great sound quality but isnβt that powerful. If you want to keep it in the car at those drastic temperature ranges the speakers will be fine but the batteries inside them can be affected. Batteries donβt like drastic temp changes but honestly I have used JBL speakers in blister sun and freezing temps for hours on end so the batteries should be fine. At that price range you either have to give up size and some quality to get more power. Look at Tribit storm box blast, itβs alittle bigger alittle less quality but a lot more sound for $40 less. The JBL Xtreme 3 is the same quality as the Sony just alittle bit more power but $100 more. You can get a factory refurbished jbl xtreme 2 with a full warranty from Harmon Kardonβs eBay page for $135 should be neck and neck with the Sony you picked but you can save some money.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Speaker for car ->JBL boombox 2 and 3 are fantastic. I always thought my JBL extreme 1 and then 3 had so much bass. But once I bought the boombox 2 I realized there's another level to these speakers.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Bluetooth speakers with excellent sound quality ->The xtreme 3 is definitely more powerfull and has a wide soundstage compared to the charge 5, but it could punch more through it's size and price category.
r/JBL β’ Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->With smaller size and price you get smaller output and bass. That's how it works sadlyπ Tribit stormbox blast 2 or blast 1 are almost the same size as the boombox, so in terms of portability it will probably be the same, same with the boom 2 plus. If you want a mid size speaker, you can get either the soundcore boom 2 / bose soundlink max / jbl xtreme 4 (preferably xtreme 3) But i'm telling you in advance, they can't produce the same thump and deep bass as the boombox 2. Unfortunately size has limitations.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Looking for a Smaller Alternative to JBL Boombox 2 with Similar Power & Bass ->Then i would honestly go for the middle and get the jbl xtreme 3. Xtreme 4 might be above your budget unless you find something close to 300. I had the xtreme 3, i really enjoy the sound, and the bass doesn't dissappoint.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ My verdict on the BOSE soundlink flex GEN 2 ->Not really, the xtreme 4 has some futureproof upgrades, and the sound is not very different. The price difference is why you should get the 3
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ My verdict on the BOSE soundlink flex GEN 2 ->The flip 6 sounds very good, is not as loud as the charge 5 , if you want the best bass, get the charge 5. As of right now, the Xtreme 4 launched, so the Xtreme 3 is sold with discount, in my case I bought the Xtreme 3 instead of the charge 5, the charge 5 was 170β¬and the Xtreme 3 200β¬, if you find the Xtreme 3 at about 200β¬ defently buy it instead of the charge 5, the bass frequencies are much lower , so more bass and fuller sound, and you can use it as a PC/tv speaker because it has an aux input , the charge/flip don't have
r/JBL β’ Which Bluetooth speaker is better to buy(JBL Flip 6 or JBL Charge 5)? ->I understand your perspective, and I acknowledge that the Minirigs may not be as widely accepted as other speakers due to their size and the requirement for two units and a separate cable for the bass. However, I believe that the upcoming Minirig Sub 4, which is expected to be wireless, may address some of these concerns. In my personal experience, I find the Minirig 4 easy to use, with just two clicks on the power buttons to turn them on and connect them in stereo. The combined size of the two Minirig 4 speakers is smaller than my JBL Charge 3, yet they produce louder sound than my JBL Xtreme 3, which I find impressive while maintaining excellent sound quality. I understand that the price point may be a deterrent for many, but I believe that the exceptional sound quality and volume output compared to other speakers of similar size make them worth the investment for me personally. While I acknowledge that the Minirigs may not appeal to the majority of consumers, I believe they have potential as single speakers, offering high-quality sound and impressive volume in a compact form factor. Although it may be a niche product, there are still many fans of this speaker. I am curious as to why not many people have voted for this speaker. Minirig only needs 28 votes, which I believe is not a problem. Perhaps most Minirig users do not trust Rtings or care about them much.π
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Why isn't Minirig speaker at Rtings reviews? π€ ->[https://i.imgur.com/cSyaxzT.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/cSyaxzT.jpg) I went and tested some stuff recently. I did consider the Boombox too. But went for 2x Extreme 3 . Way more flexible and mobile. I run them stereo via L+R AUX input (not possible anymore with the Extrme 4) And they can be linked wireless via Bluetooth App too. I thought that one of them sounded good on my porch. But when I added the second unit, it entered a whole different ballpark. True stereo with subs without walls is sooo much fun. I use them for some leisure time music noodling and the setup sounds better than many a studios I worked out of. I would not do mastering on them. And serious mixing for clients neither. But they are soooo much fun to be creative on! [https://i.imgur.com/I2uBpNw.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/I2uBpNw.jpg)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Highest quality SOUND for under $300 ->Xtreme 3 i have the same camouflage
r/JBL β’ Which is your favorite JBL portable? ->yeah xtreme 3 is in my budget range and the price is close to flex 2 as well. but why have you suddenly stopped recommending me flex 2 now in every case, is there something that it's severely lacking in that others such as xtreme 3 make up
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ My verdict on the BOSE soundlink flex GEN 2 ->ahh ookay. Im also seeing another really good one called "Anker soundboom motion x600" in the same price range as the xtreme 3. Both of them are under 2kg, good enough portable And theres also the sonos era 100 if i really stretch my budget and its 3kgs - I think these are shaping up to be my final options based on good, loud speakers that are worth the price
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ My verdict on the BOSE soundlink flex GEN 2 ->I tried that with my Go + Xtreme 3, but the delay is horrible π
r/DenonPrime β’ Speaker for beach/small party Dj Prime Go ->Yeahh, for 40w it's not too loud but the 100w xtreme 3 is not louder, I compared them side to side and charge 5 is just louder, idk hoe.
r/JBL β’ Disappointed with Charge 5: Portable, But Not Worth the Price ->the jbl xtreme 3 or 4 is worth considering, quite compact in size, comes with a strap, loud and last
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ Best speaker to take travelling? ->The JBL Extreme 3/4 are super solid, long battery life, usb charger, 1/8 inch trs in. It goes on trips with my Ambient O. ;-)
r/synthesizers β’ Portable speaker options ->Xtreme series has never been good audio wise imo in the jbl lineup, except it's durability and portability with its shoulder strap, if you're comparing sound per dollar I'm pretty sure there are better sounding wired speakers than the wking too, so it's all about a matter of tradeoffs you're willing to have for speakers. The xtreme 4s main selling point is definitely it's better build quality, and hence higher production costs, however JBL is definitely making a much larger profit off their speakers than wking which is a much smaller company with less advertising, and misc costs like packaging
r/Bluetooth_Speakers β’ JBL Xtreme 4 Vs W King X10, The great Bluetooth speaker scam? ->
