I wonder about the driver layout more specifically if the front of the speaker will have two mid range or will it be like the kilburn 3 and have one mid range on each side. Also Bromley has auracast so it should be able to stack with kilburn 3

Yup, can make devices play in sync, but only devices that support auracast which is only kilburn 3 and Bromley currently I think. Unfortunately can’t connect to older speakers. Excited that the Bromley can go down to 20hz which is true sub bass frequency without actually having a sub woofer, wonder if it will actually perform that low tho

I received the speaker yesterday, paid for the overnight shipping because I was so excited. Overall I'm pretty disappointed with the power of the speaker. Whether the speaker is plugged in vs running on battery, there's no difference in loudness or fullness of the sound. I reached out to support and they verified that plugging in the speaker does not increase the power or wattage to the speaker. Most battery powered speakers increase their power while plugged in which is what I was hoping for. I currently own the Marshall Tufton, JBL Authentics 500, and a JBL 320 partybox. The Bromley is much louder than it's smaller sibling, the tufton, but the JBL 320 partybox is louder than the Bromley at less than half the price (when plugged in). Unplugged, the Bromley does sound louder/better/fuller than the partybox 320. Besides this and not having wifi, the Bromely is a beautiful speaker and still has plenty of sound for a medium sized room. Oh, and aux or other wired connections do boost the sound a bit vs bluetooth.

The Bromley wins on bass, but JBL authentics 500 has better clarity and can keep up on total volume. The 500 can also stream lossless via wifi which helps with clarity and volume compared to the Bromley's bluetooth source. If I owned the authentics 300 and was choosing between a 500 or Bromley, I would go with the 500 if portability wasn't a factor since the 300 is portable, and it's less than half the price.
