"I do want to point out, that the battery life on the Marshall is much better (30 hours) compared to Bose (12 hours)."

"For me, the Marshall won this one hands down. It has the right weight, absolutely premium materials and such a good vibe to it. ... And lastly, the joystick-esque controls on the Marshall are class."

"Emberton 2 has great vocal clarity but not much bass."
"The base is lacking when compared directly with the Bose"

"As much as I loved the feel of it, it could not back it up with music performance. ... it fails at doing what it was made to do (for me) ... Its timbre is funky and the Bose sounds much, much better."

"It's such a shame that Marhsall doesn't allow users to control the EQ, and you're stuck with how it sounds out of the box. ... The Marshall does have an app and a 'push' mode, but that sounds rubbish."

"What really did it for me was that the highs are just too sharp. ... In most of these genres, the Marshall was over accentuating the highs, specially the cymbals and high hats. ... The trebles are way too sharp."
Denon envaya 150/200/250, Sony srs x55, x77, Harman Kardon Onyx 3,4, Xiaomi Sound Move, Créative Sound Blaster Road 2, Marshall Stockwell, Marshall Emberton 2, Harman Kardon Go + play (the one from 2016), Riva S, Riva Festival, Bose SoundLink Max, Bogasing S8 Pro Max, soundcore x600, Doss soundbox XL, Jambox, Sony srs xb33. I made "widest immersive stéréo imaging soundstage" one of my first point when i buy a speaker, and i like to try the most possible. they have all différents sizes, from différents years ,but all of them have insane soundstage with great stéréo separation for the size. Seems that older bluetooths speakers was better on point than recents ones (except for somes).
Both 1 and 2 are awesome. I suggested 1 since it'd be cheaper now. Do go to an offline store and listen to it. If you care about music quality and not just the thump of the bass, Marshall is for you. If you're a basshead, JBL is for you.
Bose soundlink Flex 2 or the Marshall Emberton 2 I guess! Amazing sound, and experience!
I just bought the Marshall emberton 2 from Best Buy on sale for $80. Sounds great.
Hi, I have an Emberton 2 and it’s awesome although EQing on the streaming device makes it much better..people say the 2 is better than the 3 And many gonna hate me on this but the Beats Pill is a terrific speaker for all Jazz and chill music, although for other complex tracks genres I find it a must to pair two in stereo
My personal choice Marshal Emberton II, not III
SoundLink Flex → Bose → pop / podcast / acústica Charge 6 → JBL → reggaetón / electrónica / hip-hop Boom 2 → Soundcore → electrónica / urbano / fiestas Charge 5 → JBL → reggaetón / hip-hop / pop Select 4 Go → Soundcore → casual / viajes / podcast Motion 300 → Soundcore → pop / rock / podcast Flip 6 → JBL → pop / urbano / uso diario Megaboom 4 → Ultimate Ears → electrónica / fiesta / pop Emberton II → Marshall → rock / indie / acústica
Just wanted to set the record straight here and say that the above is objectively not true. The Emberton 2 and 3 are extremely similar BUT that is not true for the Willen 1 and 2. The Willen 2 is actually quite a bit larger than 1 and has vast improvements in sound quality and low end register. The difference is quite significant.
Yep, I agree. I have other Marshall speakers I like but the Eberton II is an outlier. Its timbre is funky and the Bose sounds much, much better.
I really like my Emberton II. Never heard the Aura Studio, though.
My Emberton II plays me a cool little riff when I turn it on and off.
I really like my Marshall Emberton II. Great sound and battery life. Stereophonic(Kind of like mono, I prefer it to stereo unless you're sitting between the 2 channels) and no TWS, though. Also no input jack or microphone if that's important to you.
Awesome. That is what I ended up getting. The Bose seemed more sleek and modern, and like it would be somewhat a better speaker to have in my work backpack (because it would fit better and more compact with my Laptop, Switch and headphones). But the size difference didnt seem *that* massive, the Marshall will still fit fine, and 20% off for the Bose is barely even a sale. If you want me to buy your product on BF or CM, give me 50% off Thanks for taking the time to answer
