"For me, the Marshall won this one hands down. It has the right weight, absolutely premium materials and such a good vibe to it. ... And lastly, the joystick-esque controls on the Marshall are class."

"Good bass and muffled treble is basically Marshalls trademark sound. ... The emberton has 2inch woofers with two large PRs. It is obviously tuned for midbass."
"It's such a shame that Marhsall doesn't allow users to control the EQ, and you're stuck with how it sounds out of the box. ... The Marshall does have an app and a 'push' mode, but that sounds rubbish."

"What really did it for me was that the highs are just too sharp. ... In most of these genres, the Marshall was over accentuating the highs, specially the cymbals and high hats. ... The trebles are way too sharp."

"once you go smaller the bass extension is a lot lesser with just 68hz instead of the 49hz that the middleton and boombox2 are achieving."
"Emberton 2 has great vocal clarity but not much bass."

"Since these are not dome tweeters, they beam like crazy. So you have to place them on ear level with the axis facing you directly to get any high frequencies."

"As much as I loved the feel of it, it could not back it up with music performance. ... it fails at doing what it was made to do (for me) ... Its timbre is funky and the Bose sounds much, much better."

Denon envaya 150/200/250, Sony srs x55, x77, Harman Kardon Onyx 3,4, Xiaomi Sound Move, Créative Sound Blaster Road 2, Marshall Stockwell, Marshall Emberton 2, Harman Kardon Go + play (the one from 2016), Riva S, Riva Festival, Bose SoundLink Max, Bogasing S8 Pro Max, soundcore x600, Doss soundbox XL, Jambox, Sony srs xb33. I made "widest immersive stéréo imaging soundstage" one of my first point when i buy a speaker, and i like to try the most possible. they have all différents sizes, from différents years ,but all of them have insane soundstage with great stéréo separation for the size. Seems that older bluetooths speakers was better on point than recents ones (except for somes).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which single Bluetooth speaker has the best stereo imaging with the widest soundstage? ->Bose soundlink Flex 2 or the Marshall Emberton 2 I guess! Amazing sound, and experience!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Recommendations for a room speaker ->I have emberton 2 and it sounds divine
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Portable Speaker ->Hi, I have an Emberton 2 and it’s awesome although EQing on the streaming device makes it much better..people say the 2 is better than the 3 And many gonna hate me on this but the Beats Pill is a terrific speaker for all Jazz and chill music, although for other complex tracks genres I find it a must to pair two in stereo
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker? ->I have the emberton II but my x600 blows them away.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Should I get Soundcore x600 on Sale? If not what else? ->Just wanted to set the record straight here and say that the above is objectively not true. The Emberton 2 and 3 are extremely similar BUT that is not true for the Willen 1 and 2. The Willen 2 is actually quite a bit larger than 1 and has vast improvements in sound quality and low end register. The difference is quite significant.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Advice for Bluetooth speaker ->Yep, I agree. I have other Marshall speakers I like but the Eberton II is an outlier. Its timbre is funky and the Bose sounds much, much better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Personal hands on review : Bose Flex 2 vs Marshall Emberton II ->The Marshall Emberton II is my travel speaker. It’s very good.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's the greatest mid sized Bluetooth speaker of all time? ->I really like my Emberton II. Never heard the Aura Studio, though.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bluetooth speaker? ->My Emberton II plays me a cool little riff when I turn it on and off.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Desperate for a BT speaker that doesn't beep, honk, talk, squawk, or make any damn noise when connecting/disconnecting/pairing/anything. ->I have 2 of these for a few months now, they sound amazing for the price and look good too. I actually prefer the sound to flip 6, ult field 1, emberton 2 and sound link flex
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Xiaomi sound outdoor bluetooth speaker ->Marshall Middleton first gen. It’s a heavy beast but has the best balance. JBL has the best software but the sound profile is fatiguing. The ULT 3 is boomy compared to the better balanced ULT 1 and excellent ULT 7. Emberton 2 has great vocal clarity but not much bass. Middleton corrects that shortcoming. It’ll work well with what you listen to.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Is the Bose SoundLink Plus A Really Good Bluetooth Speaker For Indoor Use or Should I Look At Other Bluetooth Speakers? ->It's a pretty good, multidirectional speaker. Best deal right now because the 3rd gen is more expensive and barely has any changes.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is your opinion about Marshall Emberton 2? ->Two drivers, each driver shoots off a different side.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is your opinion about Marshall Emberton 2? ->It's stereo but the drivers are not positioned like typical stereo, they are on each side
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is your opinion about Marshall Emberton 2? ->I bought one during Christmas time for $90. I like it and I use it for smaller rooms and it seems to be loud enough. Compared to other speakers, I'm not sure how it pairs up. But I like mine!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is your opinion about Marshall Emberton 2? ->I have a Marshall Emberton that sounds great and goes for a while without needing a charge.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->I bought Marshall, may be i’m old school but, i like the sound of marshall emberton better than bose, bose sound great in all genres no doubt. Also, i can’t live with 12 hours battery, cause eventually all battery degrades overtime with extensive usage. No use being portable if you have to keep charging all the time. That’s my intake.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Personal hands on review : Bose Flex 2 vs Marshall Emberton II ->I use the Marshall Emberton. I can take calls with it and if I need to use maps for deliveries, I can actually hear the directions. I am in my probationary period but I figured if I were assigned a Metris I would be doing the same things.
r/USPS • Bluetooth Speakers in LLV ->big fan of the marshall emberton
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->Good bass and muffled treble is basically Marshalls trademark sound. It is the guitar amp feeling why you buy them. We have the Tufton at work, the biggest of them all with supposedly a front facing dome tweeter but it still sounds muffled with a hugely overemphasized bass unless you EQ it down. Guitar amps usually have super large fullrange speakers in an open baffle enclosure. The don't deliver treble above 5 or 8Khz and also not so deep base, but good kockbase between 70 and 300hz. People like that sound and marshall has made it its standard EQ preset. The emberton has 2inch woofers with two large PRs. It is obviously tuned for midbass. But the speakers being 2inchers, they should be pretty usable in the treble too. Just EQ the heck outa it! Another point might be directivity. Since these are not dome tweeters, they beam like crazy. So you have to place them on ear level with the axis facing you directly to get any high frequencies. To get any meaningful stereo, you need to place it a few centimeters in front of a wall, cause the second channel is designed with a delay for a larger sound stage and to reflect the second channel off a wall.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is your opinion about Marshall Emberton 2? ->You can't get the same SPL, but there are much smaller speakers with the same bass extension. I don't like the boomy overemphasis of bass of the boombox2 too much, but i understand it sounds fun for a lot of music. But if Bass is what you are looking for i'd suggest to have a look at the Marshall lineup. They have a preference for bassy sound and have a few models that are considerably smaller than the Boombox2. They have better bass in every segment, but as bass uses more power than mids and treble, most marshall speakers have worse battery life than corresponding JBLs. For example the Middleton has about the same bass extension as the JBL boombox2, but is just a third of the size. Of course you trade in Max SPL for that nice range, as there ain't no free lunch. The problem with smaller drivers is that they are less efficient, so they need more power for the same SPL or just deliver considerably less SPL. Both is the case with the Middleton. So you trade in less SPL and less battery life, but you get a similar sound quality in about one third the size. Plus arguably the Middleton looks nicer and more mature even though both are ofc mostly plastic and rubber. And as with all Marshalls, the stereo soundstage is fantastic, better than any of the JBLs. I also like the even smaller emberton, but once you go smaller the bass extension is a lot lesser with just 68hz instead of the 49hz that the middleton and boombox2 are achieving.
