I use a Marshall Emberton lll on my writing/vanity desk. Its surprisingly loud and has great bass. I bought the ll when it went on clearance but it couldn't handle bass, I hated it immediately. So I wouldn't recommend that one.
From best to worst 1. Soundcore motion + 2. Klipsch nashville 3. Sony ult field 5 & tribit stormbox lava (tie) 4. Marshall emberton 3 & Bose soundlink flex 2 (tie) 5. Kef muo 6.tribit stormbox blast (OG) & Earfun uboom x(tie) 7. Soundcore boom 2 & x600 8. Harman kardon onyx studio 6 9. UE everboom, wonder boom & epicboom Soundcore motion + has been discontinued and has no ip dust rating Klipsch nashville, kef muo, bose soundlink flex 2, and harman kardon onyx studio 6 are mono format speakers Sony ult field 5, tribit stormbox lava & blast, earfun u boom x, Soundcore boom 2 & x600, UE epicboom and HK onyx studio 6 are all pretty large. The Marshall emberton 3, UE everboom & epic boom are 360⁰ speakers this is subjectively worse than a forward firing speaker for soundquality.
I suggest either Marshall Emberton III or the Bose Soundlink flex they are both really good
I do, actually... The sound of the flex is only a little better than the emberton, and if you like the aesthetic, i think you should go for it..
yes. I have used both. i personally don't like their amp sound, and the speaker was good for it's size
Just wanted to set the record straight here and say that the above is objectively not true. The Emberton 2 and 3 are extremely similar BUT that is not true for the Willen 1 and 2. The Willen 2 is actually quite a bit larger than 1 and has vast improvements in sound quality and low end register. The difference is quite significant.
Emberton 3 is pretty good. I decided to step up to the middleton 2 for a fuller sound experience. I wish they could get the middleton sound in the size of an emberton for portability. I personally did not like the sound of the Ultimate Ear products and found some of the controls a little wonky at times. They are priced good, but I just didn't care for them and returned them. JBL does sound fantastic, but the Marshall edged it out for me. I prefer the looks of the Marshall speakers as well over most other brands.
Yep. This is also on my list. Do you have real-world experience with both of these speakers? Most social media comparisons favor the Flex 2, I prefer the Emberton because of the design aesthetic, which clearly showcases the brand's premium value.
It's because their design is broken in terms of acoustics. 360° is fine and all, but even marshall 360° speakers are more capable of reaching deep bass and impact. Their design is just not good acoustically and if they still keep going with the same route they will never be up there with the competition
