I own the JBL Xtreme2 and the Milwaukee M18 jobsite radio (2952). The Milwaukee has noticeably better sound quality when you put them side by side and compare. I was surprised, but of those two models, the Milwaukee is much better. And it also is much nicer to use with better buttons, a clock, and an FM radio that the JBL doesn't have.

In the case of the JBL Xtreme2 and the Milwaukee 2952, the Milwaukee had better bass and much more treble clarity than the JBL that was immediately noticeable when playing the same song in the same room, side by side. As I say, I was surprised, but it really wasn't vague at all. Of those two models, the Milwaukee is just better.

If I put you in a room with a blindfold on and played my JBL Xtreme2 and then my Milwaukee M18 jobsite radio (2952), you would instantly pick the Milwaukee for having better sound quality.

Yeah, and the so-called "audiophiles" are basically just fanbois who think that a $200 JBL bluetooth speaker is unquestionably and automatically going to be some superior product. It is not. I put my JBL Xtreme2 and Milwaukee 2952 side-by-side in the same room and played the same song on both of them. The Milwaukee was *noticeably* better sounding, both in terms of bass and treble clarity. I didn't expect that to be the outcome, but it absolutely was. The people who disagree despite having not done the same side-by-side comparison themselves are simply ignorant.

Doubt all you want. Placed side by side, the Milwaukee has demonstrably better sound quality. Better bass and much better treble clarity. I was surprised, but the difference is night and day.

Ive had 3 job site radios now that mainly Bluetooth. DeWalt and 2 Milwaukees 1 was packout. They average 3 to 5 years and the antenna falls off all of them. Loud, reliable and combo style charges batteries. I take them on the river kayaking and camping. Annoy my neighbors full blast. Dominat the job site with my music.

Milwaukee hands down. No worries about the internal battery failing and turning the whole unit into a useless brick. I
