"Minirig delivers great sound, but it’s not waterproof, so it's not ideal for outdoor or poolside use"

"Purchased 6 of these. And 3 had to be sent back to be fixed for various battery issues. ... Unfortunately not BIFL."
I use a Minirig Mini speaker. Great sound and battery life.
Suck it up and buy a Minirig
Minirig Mini. I use it way more than my Minirig 4’s or my JBL Charge 3’s. The sound is clear for podcasts etc, but with good balanced bass for music.. it’s super portable and light, sturdy as hell (all metal), only costs £99.
If you want the best possible sound then its minirig hands down but its a smaller company and products are little glitchy from time to time but they are so far ahead of everyone else on sound quality.
Youd be crazy to use them as monitors. Perhaps some people don't understand what monitors are actually used for. Minirigs do not play deep, are not flat and sound changes depending on orientation. Probably the same people claiming the uboom l is flat and neutral lol
Thats because they aren't professionals (i assume) and just accept anything they hear on youtube. Monitors in the wrong setting can sound awful. However the minirigs are not monitors. They resolve well however and suit a discerning ear. Just don't use them as monitors or your mix will be crap.
charge has more bass but minirig sounds way more natural and refined. the charge has a weird presence boost at 6khz that makes it sound harsh
MINIRIG is the smallest powerhouse I know of, can go crazy loud. The best thing is that this power capacity means the sound is super clean at decent volume (maybe 40 - 50%)
MINIRIG is the way to go
Check out minirigs, they're expensive but have legitimately zero latency when plugged in and sound really good for portable speakers
I got 2 minirigs to do the sound for my outdoor wedding. They are awesome and I still use them daily 2 years later. They have a “gain” setting built into the single button you use to power them on so sometimes when they start up they are incredibly loud but other than that the minirigs are very good and I used to use an Anker Soundcore in the past.
I’m fan of MINIRIG speakers
