Portronics - Harmony Mini

Well i already have two tws which are more or less neutral sounding (at least for me though, i tuned them) and also have a micro speaker, the Logitech X50. So for a change i wanted a slightly bass focussed and bigger speaker for fun, room use type, purely entertainment purpose. So i gotta Portronics Harmony Mini, basically it's the Stage GoFree 40w variant, but in India it's sold by a different branding. I'm loving it honestly, has that oomph and clarity as well. 3 eq presets also with rgb lighting. Very fancy yet retro looking.

U have a lot of options and i have used them all. Under 2k : Portronics Sounddrum P.This is the best u can get under 2k.Its loudness and bass give expensive speakers a run for their money.Its good for 99% of users who are looking for a good speaker in budget and don't want to buy shitty boAt.Some cons are : Distortion at full volume and battery life of 6-7 hours(May get extended if used with lower than 50% volume ). Under 2600-2700 Inr: Portronics Harmony Mini.I have been using this speaker from last 6 months and everytime i use this it blows my mind how portronics achieved this much clarity, loudness and bass in this budget.U can say it's the refined version of sounddrum p because it doesnt get distortion at full or near full volume.It handles complex tracks better than sounddrum p.It has AAC codec which gives it clear vocals and note no other speaker offers AAC codec under 5k.U can go for it if u want an all rounder speaker in 2600 inr. Under 3K : Tribit X sound Go.This is a balanced speaker under 3k.Its for those who don't want crazy loudness or thumping bass just crystal clear and balanced sound that's soothing to the ears.I would say this speaker has the most clear and clean sound when compared to the other speakers i mentioned above.Its clarity is unmatched no distortion or anything whatsoever.A lot of people who are confused what to buy in this segment generally go for this speaker but personally I don't like this speaker because i have tried others and this speaker just can't compete with them in terms of loudness and bass and this matters more to me than clarity. Under 4k : Xiaomi Outdoor 30w speaker.Im currently using this for about a month and i would say it has the most punchy and thumping bass of all these speakers i mentioned above.It has dedicated 10W tweeter for high frequency sounds.Due to this it has punchy bass along with clear vocals but still this clarity is behind tribit x sound go(best in this range).If anyone has the budget one can definitely go for this because it has everything one expects in a speaker in this price range but for most of the buyers it's expensive so one can buy the other speakers i mentioned above.

Loudness and bass is far better in harmony mini and its just slightly behind in terms of clarity from xsound go. Once u listen to harmony mini u cannot listen to xsound go.

Go for portronics harmony mini or if u can increase ur budget upto 3500 rupees then go for xiaomi outdoor 30w. If u have any questions regarding these two speakers then u can ask because i own both of them.

If price is not a concern then go for xiaomi outdoor.

Due to a 10w tweeter in xiaomi . Its treble and vocals are clearer than harmony mini while watching a movie or podcast. In harmony mini music experience is good but during a movie the dialogues aren't as clear as xiaomi.

Yeah xiaomi is mono and harmony is stereo. Due to this harmony has a wider sound stage. But many speakers are mono just like xiaomi even jbl flip 6 is mono and sony ult field 1 is mono as well. In India we don't have many good options like other countries. U cannot get everything under 4k you'll have to compromise on something. Under 4k u have xiaomi which i think is the most balanced speaker and offers good bass,loudness and clarity. The other one is the tribit x sound go which is the best when it comes to vocals and clarity but it's loudness and bass is less when compared to xiaomi or harmony. Then comes the harmony mini which i bought for 2300inr and i think it's the most vfm speaker in that range and it offers better bass and loudness than tribit but lacks dialogue clarity during movies but i can be fixed up to an extent with the help of equaliser.

If u remember u asked this question about speakers sometime ago and i commented that portronics harmony mini is the best under 3k. I even sent u a dm saying if u need any more help regarding this because im a sucker for speakers have collected and used many over time.
