The Tribit Lava will not fit in a backpack when you've got camping gear. OP needs something like a Bose Micro, JBL Clip, Skullcandy Kilo...something like that
I have a Skullcandy Kilo. It sounds good, incredible battery life and it's small enough to fit in a backpack without taking up much room. I replaced a JBL Clip 3 with the Kilo. The Kilo is much better in every way, and it's only about $40. I found mine on sale at Walmart for only $24
Skullcandy Kilo blows all JBL Clip models out of the water. At least triple the battery life and it sounds much better. It's a little bit bigger, but the difference is negligible
It's bigger than you can fit in a backpack with camping gear. I don't know if you've ever gone backpacking, but the amount of space you have is extremely limited. There's no way an X600 will fit, unless OP is using a backpack that's much bigger than he needs. And most people use a backpack that will just barely hold what you need, extra stuff like a speaker is just stuffed into a tiny crevice between your sleeping bag and tent
I just got a Skullcandy Kilo. It's got impressive sound considering the size and price of it. Very long battery life, too
Neither. Skullcandy Kilo blows those two out of the water. They're not even in the same league
Skullcandy Kilo is 10x better than the Clip 5; it's not on the list either
