Sony - SRS-XB23

Sony’s XB23 sounds RIGHT up ur alley bro.. im bout to pull the trigger on that I think for 60 bucks off amazon… I have always been biased towards Sony electronics tho ever since I was a kid. They just make quality, reliable, and affordable hardware for the money imo. Not too cheap but not super expensive. You get a lot of bang for ur buck with Sony and they don’t price gouge with the name like some brands do like JBL for instance

Roam sounds like a can that really lack any lows and good sound overall, especially outdoors. Very small spaces only and not worth the cost. Can also stereo pair with a 2nd) Smaller: [UE wonderboom 4 portable](https://a.co/d/3Pn2Mw0) (80 USD. Impressive bass and sound profile for size—step up and not necessary but can get 2 to set up stereo pair). Ankers, tribits mentioned on here are solid. Haven’t heard Bose new mini portable, but if you like Bose sound profile, prob a solid option. If you got tribits, I’d get 2. Solid speakers but lack a little as standalone speakers, particularly outdoors.

Yes! The JBL Charge series doesn’t have Qi charging, but the Sony SRS-XB23 and LG XBOOM models are solid options under $100. For true wireless charging, though, options are pretty limited. You might also check Anker's Soundcore lineup, they sometimes have creative charging solutions.

The Sony SRS-XB23 has extra bass, 12 hours of battery, and is waterproof, good for outdoor use.

The JBL Flip 6 is more balanced, while the Sony SRS-XB23 has deeper bass

Sony srs-xb23 I manage a restaurant and my guys dont treat anything nicely. This little speaker is on its 5th year and hasnt missed a beat. On for at least 10+ hours a day every day

Thank you! My mom tends to clean when stressed and sometimes puts random stuff like her old XB-23 and MY XB-33 in places so random as a result. Now they just feel like fun little easter eggs I stumble across like earlier lol. She didn’t want hers so I just started trying to see what all they are capable of just now. I actually had just got the prompt and updated the 33 thinking nothing of it. This post is old but still was very helpful and informative despite that fact!
