Sony - SRS-XB33

I’ve had the XB33 and most of Soundcore’s offerings. Get the Soundcore. The easy EQ will get you exactly where you want to be, too. I gave my XB33 away to a friend as their first Bluetooth speaker.

Denon envaya 150/200/250, Sony srs x55, x77, Harman Kardon Onyx 3,4, Xiaomi Sound Move, Créative Sound Blaster Road 2, Marshall Stockwell, Marshall Emberton 2, Harman Kardon Go + play (the one from 2016), Riva S, Riva Festival, Bose SoundLink Max, Bogasing S8 Pro Max, soundcore x600, Doss soundbox XL, Jambox, Sony srs xb33. I made "widest immersive stéréo imaging soundstage" one of my first point when i buy a speaker, and i like to try the most possible. they have all différents sizes, from différents years ,but all of them have insane soundstage with great stéréo separation for the size. Seems that older bluetooths speakers was better on point than recents ones (except for somes).

I’m satisfied with Sony SRS XB33. 2x2 speaker, the bigger, XB43 has 2x3.

Thank you! My mom tends to clean when stressed and sometimes puts random stuff like her old XB-23 and MY XB-33 in places so random as a result. Now they just feel like fun little easter eggs I stumble across like earlier lol. She didn’t want hers so I just started trying to see what all they are capable of just now. I actually had just got the prompt and updated the 33 thinking nothing of it. This post is old but still was very helpful and informative despite that fact! so far only 1 no name speaker gave up some years ago. i have 2 tribit xsound gos since more than 4 years, and 4 sony speakers (2 each of xb33/43) for more than 2 years and all of them are still working fine. overall i have very good experiences with panasonic, my tv is more thna 15 years and still working perfectly, my stereo is 5 years and taht before (also panasonic) has lasted for about 15 years also.

I habe 2 xb33 and ahve listentend to XE200/300 also. The xe200 is just meh. The xb33 has a quite warm and natural sound, it never gets harsh and always sound nicely mellow and rich (also voice come over great), but highs are underrepresented so it not as crisp and open and detailed sounding. The XE300 is a bit too large for what it is, is slightly deepe rin bass, but doesnt soundans nice and natural. both the xe300 and xb33 are very durable and have good battery life. The motion plus is more crisp and detailed than the Sony models, but it can get harsh on higher volumes. The sonys work better in stereo or party pairing mode. All speakers mentioned are older models so I guess you are looking fur 2nd hand or refurbished models?

Don't know about headphones but I've taken Sony Bluetooth speakers in the sauna for years with no issues. Anything in the SRS XB range are probably fine. A friend of mine had another brand speaker that looked really similar, same rubber case, same shape and size, same cover over the ports and same buttons. I recommend that they try it in the sauna. It broke the first time.
