I just bought the Sony and love it Everyone has different sound quality preferences/ears. I love the sound of this speaker with my Denon DJ controller or iPhone. I’ve even done couple of house parties past week at my own home using my Apple Watch Ultra and Tidal/Amazon Unlimited/ Apple Music. Love how convenient and portable I can be with this. All our guests to-date love it and one person bought one already. Using is at first non-family gig with 50-60 people in two weeks outdoors. I plan to use it at small to medium size gigs where can quickly setup up and when don’t need my 800W stand-mounted speakers. I like the sound profile and the lights better than the JBLs. And I wanted battery so can go cable-free. Best Buy has Black Friday sale for $300 off. Wanted to buy another to use as stereos pair at larger events, but made other recent audio acquisitions I made ($).
