BradolfPittler1 1.0Sony SRS XP700 is what I would recommend anyone. I got 2 of them for 400 second hand, the battery life is absolutely insane (12h on max, 24h on 70ish%), the sound is warm and beautiful, and the bass (+bass boost) is pretty astonishing. It's quite a bit bigger than the one in the picture, but that also means that you can throw an actual small party with just one of these.

Tedmosby9931 1.0Up until this week I was using (2) Sony XP700s connected via RCA to 1/8"/aux with great success. I only stopped using these because I now have QSC 12.2s. The Sonys have a built in battery, which I would supplement with a portable power center for when we would do pop ups and set up around town without power. They can be picked up open box from Best Buy for under $300 and get pretty damn loud.Ā
