Makie thrasher 212 go. Bluetooth, portable, and versatile. I own a soundboks gen 3, which is very loud, but the makie has a deeper bass.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Looking for speaker recommendations for my garage ->3 after YEARS of looking for the best for my use. Bose Soundlink Mini 2, best speaker for low volume and expecially movies. Beoplay A1, great for indor use partying with few friends. Soundboks 3, for big outdoors parties.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • How many Bluetooth Speakers Do You Have? ->A 512wh battery is not enough to run decent powered speakers for any length of time. But it will run any mixer / device combo for several hours though. With your budget, would recommend a Soundboks 3, or maybe a couple mackie thump go’s.
r/DJs • Portable Speakers with strong and clear sound for outdoor partys? ->If you're wearing earplugs at work, nothing short of a Soundboks 3/4 will get loud enough. If anything I'd recommend just using bone conduction headphones instead. Check out the ranking of nearly every single Bluetooth speaker and the best EQ tuning for each of them [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest Bluetooth Speakers? ->I would do 2 sounboks in parallel, with extra batteries on deck for quick swaps. Can charge the extras while you play on the main batteries
r/SoundSystem • Portable soundsystem for music festival ->bose s1 pro gets extremely loud and sounds great. otherwise a soundboks.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best party speaker? ->Havnt heard minirig but soundboks is way over rated
r/Beatmatch • Best battery powered speakers? ->There is loads of better battery powered speakers. Soundboks are ok, just really lack low end. They do have swappable batteries though which no one else seems to be doing. Just check out pro audio companies rather than consumer level audio products
r/Beatmatch • Best battery powered speakers? ->> an all in one portable thing that I could drag around? Never had an issue with my [Soundboks](https://soundboks.com)
r/DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: Latency with Aux connection in JBL Partybox speakers ->I was gonna suggest the soundboks. On the other hand, I've done a small party on one minirig 3 and a minirig sub. This was indoor though.
r/DJs • Portable Speakers with strong and clear sound for outdoor partys? ->Soundboks works great. I'm in a traveling baseball team, and every team has speakers. Most of the speakers don't impress me. JBL PartyBox is a good option entry level with good sound quality and budget friendly. Different size options and different budget options as well. Soundboks seems to be the best option out there, but pricing seems a bit steep. You get the loudest DB in battery-powered speakers I can find with the loudest highs and bass. The sound quality is excellent. Bose S1 Pro I'm highly impressed with it. The output and size from such a small package it's really sounds impressive all around, definitely a winner in sound quality. Other than the 3 mentioned, either I haven't discovered another good portable battery-powered speaker option, or they're not impressive enough for me to research and look them up. So, for now, these 3 are my personal recommendations. If anyone has some additional input or recommendations, I'd love to see them. It is always good to know other options in the future.
r/Beatmatch • Best battery powered speakers? ->The Everse 8 will be similar in sound profile to the Bose you already have. These small drivers just can’t pump out a whole lot of bass unfortunately. Low frequencies also require a lot more power, which is a problem for portable speakers. I think a Soundboks might be a good fit for your use, if you don’t mind the size and weight. It produces a decent amount of bass and gets pretty loud. It also has low latency on the cabled input, which is pretty important for djing. It won’t be enough to get 80 people dancing, but it’s a start and you could add a second one later on. The alternative is to rent/buy a proper PA and a small generator. This will always give you more volume and better sound than any battery-powered system. I never used the JBL eon so I can’t comment on that.
r/Beatmatch • Portable DJ Speaker Recommendations ->I use a 310 all the time and don't notice any latency. Both a Prime GO and an RX2 with RCA out to 3.5mm on the speaker and never noticed any latency. If you're concerned and still want one big portable speaker I'd check out a Soundboks. I've used those as well with no latency.
r/DJs • Wanting to settle a matter once and for all: Latency with Aux connection in JBL Partybox speakers ->Soundboks is the way to go agreed
