"Was also amazed by the 19ms latency and no wires. Game changer for pop up parties and events."

"If you really value the battery, you have the soundboks one as way better for being removable. I'd buy a spare and you have easily continuous play - just have to charge one whilst the other plays."

"My biggest complaint is that it will roll over with the slightest bump. ... While this may sound trivial it’s so so annoying using it in the bed of my truck or on the boat or even transporting it. Just rolls everything and get scratched up in the process."

"Soundboks sounds horrible. Its a really powerful Bluetooth speaker in terms of spl, but the low mids are way too loud, especially if you listen to Trance where the Higher frequencies play a major role"

"Still love the soundboks, but the mackie is louder."
Had a boombox 3, switched to a soundboks Go, for outdoor use and portability, love the soundbox. From volume to battery life to ruggedness, it checks all the boxes.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Speaker for outdoors ->I own and operate a pedicab tour business and I have gone through my fair share of speakers. My design specifications of my pedicab limits the size of my speaker, so I had to look for something smaller. I have friends of mine across the country that have some wild choices for audio on their rigs... most of them vary between the big Soundboks, Ion speakers and personally-built sets. Obviously, the personally-built sets always won for audio, but doing that kind of stuff is severely above my paygrade. Ion speakers are fine, but leaves much to be desired. Soundboks is loud AF, but it can't fit under my pedicab, it's too big. In 2022, I bought the newly released Soundboks Go, and it was okay. The speaker had its own computer chip inside and it crashed on me twice (both times I had to send it in and get repaired). I knew the warranty was about to expire, so I bought two Turtlebox G2 speakers and paired them up. On my pedicab, it comes in pretty clear, it's slightly less loud than the Soundboks Go (which was technically $100 cheaper), but unlike the Soundboks Go, the paired Turtlebox speakers have stereo sound, which was what I was going for. The Turtlebox speakers have less bass than the Soundboks Go, which was expected due to the smaller size of the two 8" speakers, vs the SB's single 10" woofer and 1" silk dome tweeter. The speakers also fit quite well under my pedicab. I do recommend the Turtlebox, but only if you're going to buy two of them. Biggest downside to this is you will be spending >$800, but it's a pretty cool test. Currently looking for the next thing to do to my pedicab right now, whether it be upgrading to European imported Bluetooth speakers (ex: Teufel).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Turtlebox vs Other Outdoor Speakers ->I went with soundboks go too and it’s a beast. Recently got a ‘death from below’ sub and they’re insane together. Yea they’re larger but can now do full events outside all battery operated with no wires.
r/Beatmatch • Portable speaker recommendations for outdoor djing ->I'm really happy with my AIAIAI Unit 4. You could also opt for a SOUNDBOKS Go. Perhaps its possible to find especially the Go used after the festival season.. Most important I think is to get something that also works wired, so you can get rid of the latency. Bluetooth is a nice plus, but for longevity I'd definitely prioritize a wired connection.
r/PioneerDJ • Portable Speaker Options to Pair With DDJ FLX4 ->Soundboks Go if you want something more 'portable'. Super loud. Marshall Tufton more portable and still very loud.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest bluetooth speaker on market ->You can expect +10h on the soundboks if played at high volume. But partybox should be similar. They both will reduce over time 😃
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest bluetooth speaker on market ->If you really value the battery, you have the soundboks one as way better for being removable. I'd buy a spare and you have easily continuous play - just have to charge one whilst the other plays. If you go for a charge station ensure you get a portable station with a pure sine-wave AC outlet and ≥240 W continuous output to power the speaker reliably. Make sure the station can sustain enough wattage — for music playback (with lights), allocate around 200–300 W to be safe. The soundboks has a great capacity battery, but at high volume it does drain - as expected.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest bluetooth speaker on market ->The Soundboks Go does not sound good. Though it is very loud.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the loudest portable speaker? ->If you want tons of bass, JBL Partybox 320 or soon to be releases 520 is the way to go. If you want the loudest speaker with the longest playtime, Soundboks for sure.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a Speaker for Cocktail Events and After Parties ->The Soundboks, can last of up to 40 hours of continuous playtime, depending on the volume
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a Speaker for Cocktail Events and After Parties ->When I was looking for the same, I went with a Soundboks Go. I love that little speaker, and it does everything I want it to do. A couple years later I was in a guitar center and listened to a Mackie Thump Go. If I had heard them side-by-side, I would have gone with the Mackie. Still love the soundboks, but the mackie is louder.
r/Beatmatch • Portable speaker recommendations for outdoor djing ->I got my SoundBocks Go for 500 and fkng love it
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for all around good portable speaker sub $500 ->Get a Soundboks, its Danish and it´s loud and i hate it, there´s a park across the road from me, so summer is not always "bliss" lol, but i guess you aint my neighbour so i post them anyways ;) they come in different sizes, not sure if it´s any use but now it´s out there [https://soundboks.dk/](https://soundboks.dk/)
r/BuyFromEU • Can anyone recommend a high quality Bluetooth speaker - Sonos is a pile of shit 💩 ->I would do 2 sounboks in parallel, with extra batteries on deck for quick swaps. Can charge the extras while you play on the main batteries
r/SoundSystem • Portable soundsystem for music festival ->bose s1 pro gets extremely loud and sounds great. otherwise a soundboks.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best party speaker? ->at max(126 db) its like 3 hours
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a Speaker for Cocktail Events and After Parties ->A second hand Soundboks. Those things are crazy!
r/psytrance • Best ~500€ bluetooth speaker for Psytrance ->Soundboks sounds horrible. Its a really powerful Bluetooth speaker in terms of spl, but the low mids are way too loud, especially if you listen to Trance where the Higher frequencies play a major role
r/psytrance • Best ~500€ bluetooth speaker for Psytrance ->I was gonna suggest the soundboks. On the other hand, I've done a small party on one minirig 3 and a minirig sub. This was indoor though.
r/DJs • Portable Speakers with strong and clear sound for outdoor partys? ->Soundboks. It’s worth it.
r/EDM • Help me find portable speakers that have good volume and everything? ->Soundboks works great. I'm in a traveling baseball team, and every team has speakers. Most of the speakers don't impress me. JBL PartyBox is a good option entry level with good sound quality and budget friendly. Different size options and different budget options as well. Soundboks seems to be the best option out there, but pricing seems a bit steep. You get the loudest DB in battery-powered speakers I can find with the loudest highs and bass. The sound quality is excellent. Bose S1 Pro I'm highly impressed with it. The output and size from such a small package it's really sounds impressive all around, definitely a winner in sound quality. Other than the 3 mentioned, either I haven't discovered another good portable battery-powered speaker option, or they're not impressive enough for me to research and look them up. So, for now, these 3 are my personal recommendations. If anyone has some additional input or recommendations, I'd love to see them. It is always good to know other options in the future.
