No hate at all, but for 600 bucks...you could have got a soundboks go, it also has a removable battery and it bumps pretty damn hard, they have a bigger version with 2 10 inch drivers, amazing speakers.
Soundboks Go if you want something more 'portable'. Super loud. Marshall Tufton more portable and still very loud.
You can expect +10h on the soundboks if played at high volume. But partybox should be similar. They both will reduce over time 😃
If you really value the battery, you have the soundboks one as way better for being removable. I'd buy a spare and you have easily continuous play - just have to charge one whilst the other plays. If you go for a charge station ensure you get a portable station with a pure sine-wave AC outlet and ≥240 W continuous output to power the speaker reliably. Make sure the station can sustain enough wattage — for music playback (with lights), allocate around 200–300 W to be safe. The soundboks has a great capacity battery, but at high volume it does drain - as expected.
Check out the Soundboks Go. I have the full size Soundboks and nothing else even comes close although it is a bit big and heavy.
I have 3 Soundboks speakers, the SB2, SB3 and the SB Go. They all do very well for movies. Matter of fact they might be exactly what you're looking for, because they go extremely loud and don't have that deep Partybox bass. So here's my last suggestions, the [Soundboks Mix](https://soundboks.com/products/soundboks-mix)
If you want tons of bass, JBL Partybox 320 or soon to be releases 520 is the way to go. If you want the loudest speaker with the longest playtime, Soundboks for sure.
The Soundboks, can last of up to 40 hours of continuous playtime, depending on the volume
Check out the new soundboks mix. A whole lot better sound than the old go and even the 4, because of the new tweeter. Wont get as loud as a 4, but much nicer sound and more portable size. Its size/weight is like a jbl 120, but it gets louder, is more durable/waterproof and better battery life.
I have listened to the Soundboks 4 and the Soundboks Go several times. These are very popular for private outdoor parties. They can reach a high volume — higher than a comparable-size JBL Partybox — but they don't produce such deep bass, nor do they sound as balanced or pleasant overall. Their main qualities are that they are loud and have a long battery life.
I use a Soundboks Go and when using it over bluetooth there is a very, very small amount of latency. If this will throw you off, you either want to have it plugged into the aux input, or spend more getting a SKAA Pro setup. It's never been enough to mess me up when playing over bluetooth, but if you're new to DJing, it may be frustrating. I've heard it next to a Mackie Thump Go and the Mackie was louder. Soundboks is really light though, and has been easy to get around with. When I was looking for a portable all-in-one, the Prime Go was what I was after. I couldn't justify the cost for my purposes, but if I was still after an all-in-one DJ setup, that's the one I'd get. The metal material will already feel like better quality in your hands, but the battery life makes it an easy decision without the dumb speakers.
You cant beat a Soundboks as far as sound quality in my opinion
