I have the Soundcore Motion Boom and I’ve been pretty happy with it, gets loud and has a good amount of bass for a portable. I’ve heard even better things about the Boom 2, so maybe check that out as well. You can get either of them for under $100.
Music • Good portable speaker for driving? ->CNET's bluetooth speaker of the year, Soundcore Boom 2. 60w dedicated subwoofer. Sounds incredible, insane battery life, water proof. And on sale right now, for less than 200 you could buy two and have true stereo

Bluetooth_Speakers • LOOKING FOR A NEW BLUETOOTH SPE... ->inside the shower the best options are tribit micro 2 or soundcore motion 300 outside shower the best option is earfun uboom x. soundcore boom 2 is great as well, but if you have the space, always go for the uboom x, it's a completely different league.

Bluetooth_Speakers • What Bluetooth speaker would fi... ->Soundcore boom 2 or Tribit Storm box blast. Are the best sound you can get for their sizes under $150. I would never purchase a UE product for myself. Only as a gift if that’s what someone wanted. I think they are terrible for their price.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable bluetooth speaker for car ->Mate, you're in the wrong place for these type of speakers. To humour you, Soundcore Boom 2 is going to fill your room with loads and loads of sound; if it's a choice of one of these three, this will not disappoint.
BudgetAudiophile • Best BT speakers under 250$? Jbl ... ->X600 is not my cup of tea, i prefer the soundcore boom 2 overall. There are a lot of great options, but it all boils down to what size and price you want.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What portable bluetooth speaker... ->Soundcore boom 2, jbl xtreme 4, tribit stormbox flow, tribit stormbox micro 2, bose soundlink max, jbl boombox 3 The best battery life speakers that i own.

Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker under $100? ->Yea go for it, you will get great battery with this one and decent sound.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker under $100? ->As others mentioned, for 100 dollars you can get some pretty good value speakers at different size categories. Soundcore is known for delivering big sound for small bucks. We got soundcore motion 300 which is a speaker i really enjoy. It's not a speaker for bass, it's great for quality listening and it has stereo. It does go loud, but like most speakers do, the louder you go it loses sound quality, not as much as some others do tho. If you want to get the most out of around 100 dollars, soundcore boom 2 is a value king, delivering lots of power for the size and price, but is built on the cheaper side, and the quality isn't as good as more expensive ones (you can eq it to make it somewhat decent)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best portable bluetooth speaker... ->I've reviewed both the X600 and X500 if you're interested in seeing how they perform: [https://www.outeraudio.com/soundcore-motion-x600/](https://www.outeraudio.com/soundcore-motion-x600/) [https://www.outeraudio.com/soundcore-motion-x500/](https://www.outeraudio.com/soundcore-motion-x500/) But honestly, from a purely value for money perspective - I actually find the Soundcore Boom 2 to be pretty great. Let me know exactly what you're looking for in your speaker and I can try and make more precise suggestions.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What portable bluetooth speaker... ->I still need to try the EarFun uBoom X - but I do like how light the Boom 2 is, the Stormbox Blast sounds a bit better to me, but its kind of heavy. The Boom 2 doesn't lag far behind in sound, and is a whole lot lighter. I've also shared my full thoughts on the Boom 2 here: [https://www.outeraudio.com/soundcore-boom-2/](https://www.outeraudio.com/soundcore-boom-2/)
Bluetooth_Speakers • what’s the best bluetooth speak... ->I'd recommend the soundcore boom 2, the xdobo King max would be super loud and compact enough to get the job done in tight places
Bluetooth_Speakers • What's the cheapest, loudest, b... ->I just recently returned a soundcore boom 2 and a motion boom plus. They were too big for my application. I notice you have the Stormbox, which is giggly rated for loudness. How does the Soundlink max compare in loudness? It's about the right size for me, and have been muling over the price tag.

The [Soundcore Boom 2](https://www.amazon.com/Soundcore-Subwoofer-Waterproof-Floatable-Bluetooth/dp/B0CQ53RVTW), would be the better value here.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best waterproof Bluetooth speak... ->Soundcore Boom 2 should do the trick. You'd need to adjust the EQ though. Out of the box, it doesn't sound the greatest. What video on YouTube are you looking at? I have not had the problem finding anything you YT Music that is on YT.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker for Elopement? ->Soundcore Boom 2 is $89 (black version) on Amazon right now. It's comparable to the Xtreme 4. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca0RUsYUvVE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca0RUsYUvVE)

Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 5 vs Soundcore Ankar... ->I've been looking for a supplementary to my old Wonderboom 2 with a focus on outside-playing and budget. I also listen to a wide variety of genres including hip hop, metal, ambient and many others. I've played and tested three speakers over a few days: the JBL Charge 5, the Ankar Boom 2, and the EarFun Uboom L. However the latter is realistically in a lower category and so I won't compare it directly. I also won't rehearse all the features and specifications that can be found in other reviews. This is really just a rough summary of my thoughts based around my own needs and likes. **Price** All 3 of these are on deals through Amazon UK. The Charge 5 came in at about £125, the Ankar Boom 2 £95, and the Uboom L £70. I usually see the Ankar Boom 2 compared to the more powerful JBL Xtreme 3 but due to this lower price I think it's fair to compare it to the Charge 5. **Sound** My immediate reaction to the Charge 5 was a tad disappointed. The first song I played happened to be [a slightly rough-mixed emo rap sorta song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_JIsgkAC0g) with a guitar part that was practically inaudible on the Charge 5. I was also disappointed to see such limited EQ settings on the companion app. I am only able to change frequencies according to 3 broad Bass, Mid or Treble categories across along 5 levels. After much experimentation I have settled back on the default, as the bass doesn't really need boosting, and boosting the mids and highs is too blunt and harsh to really fix any of the issues in those frequencies. The Soundcore doesn't really have these issues from the more limited time I have spent with it. It is also more powerful, louder and has even bigger bass than the Charge 5, making it more ideal for outside listening. Furthermore, the app allows a really in-depth customisation of EQ settings. This is especially good as the soundstage and clarity of the Ankar Boom 2 appear somewhat inferior to the JBL Charge 5, which despite its bizarre frequency response is pretty clear and punchy with nearly all the styles of music I have tested on it at the standard EQ. The Ankar Boom 2 however, clearly needs some varied EQ adjustments to adapt to different styles of music. The default EQ is pretty harsh, and this speaker has a tendency to sound a bit too...boomy, even compared to the Charge 5. I have seen a particularly bass-heavy EQ setting lobbied around, which I used as a base, but I found it far too bass-heavy and absolutely horrendous for metal, with all the mids-scooped out. I am still experimenting on finding a standard general EQ I can use, before perhaps making some variations for different styles. Based on all this, I'd say the Charge 5 still arguably has the better sound, and would be my choice indoors (it's still great outdoors). But for my needs and the outside factor I'm leaning towards the Ankar Boom 2. **Features** I won't dwell on this. I don't intend on using the multi-speaker modes any time soon and I don't really care for bass-boosters. The Charge 5 is ip67 whereas the Boom 2 is ipx7, but if it's waterproof it's pretty much dustproof too. I will say, the Charge 5 is clearly the prettier and more exclusive-looking speaker, but both are meant to be waterproof and shockproof. The app, as I've already mentioned, is a huge benefit of the Boom 2 compared to the Charge 5 for me, but I appreciate many might not care for that. Ignoring the custom EQ options and relying on the default sound, I would definitely lean toward the Charge 5. However, I like that the Boom 2 has a handle, which makes it somewhat more portable despite its larger size. Another cool thing about the Ankar Boom 2 is the light show, though I don't intend on using this excessively. As far as latency goes, I have noticed 0 issues with the Charge 5 but have not tested the Ankar Boom 2 enough. Regardless, it would mainly be a party speaker anyway. Edit: the latency on the Boom 2 seems ok but maybe slightly inferior to the Charge 5. **Uboom L** I pretty quickly discounted this for my needs as it is a lot less powerful than the other 2 and not really suited to the outdoor. However the soundstage and clarity are fantastic and I could easily see this as a direct successor to my Wonderboom 2 if I weren't addicted to the Wonderboom's shape and portability. **Conclusion** All 3 of these are great speakers and they all have something I like more than in the other 2. The Uboom L isn't appropriate for my needs however. The Charge 5 and Ankar Boom 2 both have great sound with specific weaknesses. They both excel at bass-heavy electronic or hip-hop, but not quite so much with rock and metal. The Charge 5 has overall great clarity but treats some frequencies very bizarrely. The Ankar Boom 2 has slightly less clarity overall but seems to me to have a more predictable and customisable sound signature. Despite being in a lower category, the Charge 5 holds up well and doesn't sound too much quieter than the Boom 2 at max volume. But the Boom 2 is clearly better made for those higher volumes. Overall, when considering all these factors, my needs and the price, my inclination is towards the Boom 2. But if it weren't for the EQ being so customisable, there is a good chance I'd swing to the Charge 5. It is also arguably the most versatile as it excels indoors and holds up well outdoors, while being far less bulky and boomy than the Boom 2.
Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 5 vs Soundcore Ankar... ->soundcore boom 2 is a basshead's bt speaker imo dont have to spend 400 sheesh
Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable bluetooth speaker reco... ->probably the best price to performance value boom box imo. btw dont listen to that other dude all he does is shill that same speaker on every post
Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable bluetooth speaker reco... ->Calm down guys. There is merit in both approaches. You can only get so much from tiny speaker. If you are willing to make a compromise, great! But the claim that these small speakers are not suited for EDM holds factually still. How about size compromise and approach compromise? Are headphones fair idea? I often wear these with one shell off the ear, to get the great sound yet being aware of surroundings. And no, 18" is not always needed. High end high powered 8" will rock the boat, and quite many 10"s can shake the floor at 25-30Hz. I used to have two 21"s, contemplating on next purpose, and while sick, it is not what would be remotely needed for getting compact sounding device to be with you at all times. For true enjoyment, there is about zero compact speakers for EDM, but I believe that with proper EQ (Advanced PEQ kind of app), one could make do with JBL Xtreme 4, or after loading passive radiators with additional weight, possibly Soundcore Boom 2. That's where I would start. Bhaha also look into Zealot S67. It is a stepdown, but still some wicked shit for its price and size.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for ... ->If you think the Uboom L lacks bass, you're going to really hate the Stormbox Micro 2 and Clip 4. I rarely use my Micro 2 due to lack of bass, and it has by far the deepest bass of any pocket speaker. If you buy those two you will guarantee yourself keeping the Uboom L. You really should be looking at bigger speakers like the Soundcore Boom 2 or [something else](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_bluetooth_speakers/) Deeper bass requires bigger drivers, you can't get around physics.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best mini speaker/portable for ... ->Generally all of the neutral speakers are well known and documented in the [over 1000 upvotes pinned post at the top of this sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/) which includes descriptions and sound samples of all of the speakers you mentioned. You'd generally be best off with an Earfun Uboom X, or if contemporary looks matter a lot to you and you're willing to give up waterproofing and battery life then the Harmon Kardon Go+ Play 3. If those are too big, the Soundcore Boom 2 with Oluv's EQ will be the most neutral in the size below. The Diamondboxx and Devialet speakers generally aren't worth your time and are far from neutral. The Move 2 is reasonable but warm tuned, but overly expensive for what it does
WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->The best for this is the $160 Tribit Stormbox Blast, although note it weighs 12lbs and isn't the most fun to carry long distances and it takes up almost a whole backpack. The next best is probably the $130 Soundcore Motion Boom 2 which is quite a bit smaller and lighter but wouldn't have as deep of bass or get quite as loud. Both have lights. You can see these two compared against [nearly every single Bluetooth speaker here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for BT portable speaker... ->Try the coupon code on it too, it likely works and will give a discount on Amazon and the official website. There's also smaller options like the Soundcore Boom 2 which will also do well but give up deeper bass. I'd just recommend something in the "Large" size or bigger. Check out the ranking of nearly every single Bluetooth speaker and the best EQ tuning for each of them [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/)
WirelessSpeakers • Looking for speaker recommendatio... ->You can't get much JBL for that little money. You'd be better off with something like a [$100 Soundcore Boom 2](https://www.speakerranking.com/top-recommended/) at those price levels. It absolutely destroys a $180 Charge 5
WirelessSpeakers • What’s the best jbl speaker ->I lost my original Motion Boom and it was a stellar speaker. You could have it in your bedroom at very low volumes and still get good sound. I hear from alan ross the most recent ones are handicapped by worse components, but... \*beware\* the Boom 2. I made the mistake of buying it and it's just unsuitable for bedroom listening. It's like the amplifier is always running at full tilt even at low volumes, and it has a very noticeable hiss/whine. To add insult to injury it's not constant, it keeps turning itself on and off so you can't just ignore it. It might just be the component lottery, I don't know. So two "original" booms, even with the cost-cutting, \*might\* still be a good buy. You just couldn't beat them for portability, I could stick two in my backpack and still have room for all my stuff, or take just one and forget that I was carrying it until I needed to charge my phone. I miss it. That said... the Stormbox blast weighs a ton but it has an aux input, so it can be used for actually playing music, not just consuming it. It's too heavy for me to lug around, but it's a good all-round package. I'm still waiting for a good compromise: basically an original Motion Boom with an aux in.
WirelessSpeakers • Looking for the best speaker at t... ->Bird's post about the Uboom X and Soundcore Boom 2 are spot on, and for the money are a damned good deal. I had the Uboom X for a minute and ultimately returned it because it was too big, too "boombox-looking," and wasn't WiFi/AirPlay 2. But with Oluv's tuning, it was a bargain if you need a wall of detailed sound that goes LOUD. I have a pair of Sonos Move 2s (and more) hooked up to my AppleTV ecosystem, along with a number of other WiFi speakers. The Move 2s on their own are terrific, and paired, they are dynamite. If you want to go that route, you can't go wrong. I love the portability of my Move 2s, and you can't beat their sound signature (warm, not clinical). The EQ is only "okay" in the Sonos app, but...at least there is an EQ. I listened to the Devialet, and it was very good...but not as good as the Brane X, which costs much less. The Brane X is next on my list of purchases.
WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->I have a pair of Felx 2s, just sent back my Charge 5, and thought my Soundcore Boom was just "okay." The Charge 5 may have gotten a bit louder (outside)), but the sound from my Flex 2 was good enough that I bought a second one to pair it with. Together, they're loud, detailed, clear, and have plenty of low-end. I'm currently using them on a sailboat (Ericson 30+), and they sound great in the cabin down below as well as up in the cockpit when I'm sailing offshore (Pacific) or in San Francisco Bay. There are likely other contenders you should consider... But what's your budget?
Bluetooth_Speakers • Bose soundlink flex 2 vs jbl ch... ->I just got the soundcore boom 2 and I have enjoyed it so far. It's $100 and you can pair them together. The base is very impressive probably the best base I have heard on a Bluetooth speaker. My previous speaker was a UE Megaboom 3 for reference.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bluetooth speaker? ->Hands down, the soundcore boom 2. Amazing sound quality for its size. Deep bass at 54 hz, pushed forward vocals, and very good sparkle in the highs. Very loud at around 91 dB . Waterproof. Lightweight at only 3 lbs. Very long battery life. Looks are subjective, but I think it looks okay.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker for outdoor pickle... ->Once you go past 70%, volume, sound quality turns to screechy shit. Soundcore boom 2 is simply the superior speaker in this size category BT speaker
JBL • Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->Soundcore boom 2. Very good sound quality. Small and portable. Lightweight (3 lbs.). Waterproof. Goes pretty loud at around 91 dB. Long battery life. At high listening volume (above 70%), superior sound quality over the Bose SoundLink max, JBL Xtreme 4, and Bose flex. Never was a fan of Marshall BT speakers. They always have that weird reverbs making music sound strange.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What Bluetooth speaker (summer ... ->Outdoor: Soundcore boom 2. Indoors: Harman kardon Onyx studio Both gets up to about 91 dB
Bluetooth_Speakers • Blue tooth speaker loud but sti... ->I agree with the other replies that two speakers are better than one. It depends on how big you are willing to carry around. My favorite that I've settled on is the Soundcore Boom 2. Although it is slightly larger than my idea size for a portable speaker, the handle makes it easy to move around. In my opinion it is just about the perfect balance of size, clarity, and bass for a portable speaker. It has great sound and great bass (even outside). It just won't fit in a small spot. For a smaller speaker, I would recommend the Earfun Uboom L or the Soundcore Motion 300 or the Bose Soundlink Flex. Again, a pair of these in stereo will get the best most room filling sound. All of these are small and easy to carry and easy to place anywhere. If you just want one speaker, I would recommend the Tribit Stormbox Blast or the Earfun Uboom X. They both sound great, with full sound, clarity, and deep bass. But they are huge! Probably not easily carried from room to room, but that that is your decision to make. The Soundcore Boom 2 would be good as a single speaker too, with a smaller size, but it won't sound quite as good as these other two.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Budget indoor speakers with gre... ->I've been using the Earfun Uboom L for a long while now for ALL of my bluetooth speaker needs (work desk, on the deck, around the fire, camping, in the garage, etc.). I really love the speaker, especially when paired with another in TWS. However, **I have been looking for something with a little more bass and fullness, especially when outdoors. I really value clarity, fullness, bass, and neutrality, in that order.** After some research on this subreddit, **I decided to try the Soundcore Boom 2**. I saw a video on youtube comparing the Boom 2 to the Boom 2 SE (Walmart's version of the Boom 2). **For those of you that don't know, the Boom 2 SE has two 2.76" full range drivers, where the regular Boom 2 has one 3.54" x 4.72" racetrack woofer and two .79" tweeters.** In the video, both speakers sounded good, with the Boom 2 having more bass, but also sounding a little muddy (loss of detail due to the loud bass). I decided to purchase the SE, which I got from Walmart for $79. The SE arrived and I compared it to my Uboom L. Inside and outside, near and far, with all different types of music (mainly jazz, lofi, synth, acoustic, and rock). **I will say that the SE sounded better than the Uboom L for the most part.** The bass was better, it was fuller, and clarity was similar. It was decent at low volumes (which is how I listen to music most of the time), but the Uboom L is king at ultra low volume (10-20%)! **One thing about the SE though, is that it kind of sounded like the music was coming from inside of the speaker.** I know that sounds silly, because of course it is coming from inside the speaker, but one of the best things about the Uboom L is that it sounds really open and airy like the music is coming from the air rather than from the speaker itself. I really love that quality. I also tried the Soundcore Motion 300 against the Uboom L too and although it sounded really good (more bass, fuller), it also wasn't as open and airy. So after testing, I decided to keep the SE for outdoor use as it seemed better for those needs. But....I was just too curious to know what the regular Boom 2 sounded like. Was it better? I had to be sure I picked the right one. So I bought the regular Boom 2 off Amazon for $99. It arrived and I tested it against the SE (inside/outside, near/far, etc.) and **WOW, the regular Boom 2 is so much better.** Yes it's bass is boomy, but you can adjust the EQ to tame that down. Once it is tamed down, **it is actually a really clear sounding speaker with great bass** (just what I was looking for!). And another great thing, **it actually sounds open and airy, like the music is NOT coming from a box.** I'm also really happy with the form factor. It's not too big. I tried the Uboom X as well, which sounded GREAT, but it was just too big for my needs. The Boom 2 is between the Uboom L and the Uboom X in size. Plus the flat rectangular box shape works well for laying it flat (like the Motion 300 or Bose Flex) for more of a 360 sound (though it needs a LOT of adjustment to make the sound OK in that orientation, and even then, it doesn't sound super). **It's actually a pretty directional speaker that does not sound as well off axis or in this upward orientation.** I'm really happy with it so far (maybe I'll get another for TWS!) and my recommendation for anyone would be to spend the extra $20 for the regular Boom 2 as it's really a lot better.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore Boom 2 vs Soundcore B... ->Soundcore motion+ is probably your best option. Stereo sound, 2 tweeters, 2 woofers, and front-firing passive radiator. Also has an audio Jack if you want to connect it to your TV or something, and you will save a couple bucks. I have it and it is my second best speaker, really nice and detailed sound. If you want something with more power, Soundcore boom 2 is also a very good option, but you lose some portability, obviously. Hope it helps mate! Let us know what you get.
JBL • best portable speaker for movies? ->yeah beats, in treble and deep bass, but boom 2 is way warmer and it is already boosted in treble, that is just crazy how v-shaped zza is, someone should have compare it to the bose flex which also a v-shaped mass
WirelessSpeakers • Very interesting new budget speak... ->Maybe something slightly bigger? from those small speakers you won't hear deep bass... Try Boom 2 from soundcore this thing have nice deep bass, but only after eq of course, yeah quite problematic but worth a try

Bluetooth_Speakers • What speaker is a good JBL Xtre... ->Well, you can boost mids and highs on boom 2 a lot, and then it will be twice as loud as jbl, even this bose max thing
Bluetooth_Speakers • What speaker is a good JBL Xtre... ->It is smaller than boombox but still way bigger than xtreme 4, also it is midbass machine so no real deep bass on it, I much prefer normal boom 2
Bluetooth_Speakers • What speaker is a good JBL Xtre... ->Boom 2 really does sound great for a cheap speaker
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best portable bluetooth speaker... ->Soundcore Boom 2 is so much better than my charge 5. Charge 5 is the best among those 3 speakers though
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker 2024/2025 ->Just bought the Soundcore Boom 2. It’s honestly a great speaker for the price. The EQ it is set to out of the box is a little muddy, but download the app and you can do a full band EQ or download other people’s EQ settings for different sounds. Found one I liked and it’s awesome.

Bluetooth_Speakers • What Are Your Thoughts on the B... ->Hi guys, Looking to get a new speaker for my birthday. My main focus would be a speaker loud enough and with good enough quality for a house party. This also means it should have a long battery life, even on high volume. I recently bought the Soundcore Boom 2, and was relatively happy, but I feel like I can do better. After returning the Boom 2, I have a budget of roughly £150 to £200 ($200-$250) Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best party speaker for £150 ($2... ->Why not buy 2 Boom 2 for stereo and larger volume, it covered up a 700 square foot patio really well at 70-80% volume.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best party speaker for £150 ($2... ->2 Soundcore Boom 2, 1 Tribit Xsound Plus 2, 2 Jeecoo M30 desktop speakers and 1 JBL Clip 3.
Bluetooth_Speakers • How many Bluetooth Speakers Do ... ->combining hard wired speaker with bluetooth speakers wont work because of latency. If with TV/video a bit of latnecy is ok, but i would definitely go with sony rather than with soundcore than because they usually have lower latency. Soundcore boom 1 outdoor could handle only about 10 ft distance between paired speakers, new version might be better, though. With Sony speakers they can handle a distance of about 30 ft outdoors (measured from master speaker to any other paired other speaker). You might go with Sony XE300s on the tables and XG300/500 or Ult field 7 or XV500/800 mounted
Bluetooth_Speakers • Speakers that play and charge, ... ->It depends on what you are looking for. The x600 has a very bright, clear and open sound. Though ive messed up some firmware update, not sure whats the current state. You can probably make it sound goid for with eq. For the price you can get louder speakers with more bass like tribit stormbox blast, but that one is much bigger and not as stylish. Or you could get Sony xg300 in a similar size, which sounds warmer and is better for outdoor and has some extras included like ambient lights , retractable handle and speakerphone. Or the motion boom 2 which is similar in size, a little cheaper and better bass and is louder, but not so good for lower volumes and not as detailed. So theres pro and cons for everything
Bluetooth_Speakers • Should I get Soundcore x600 on ... ->I don't think soundcore booms are the highest sound quality. I would say they are the best overall package/value for money.

Bluetooth_Speakers • Highest quality SOUND for under... ->sold mine and bought a Soundcore Boom 2
JBL • JBL Charge 5 users, are you happy with your po... ->Hello all. After 3+ years of 60+ hours of weekly use at work, my W KING (I think D8? Chunky green fella with nylon carry strap) finally crapped out. After hearing great stuff about it, I bought a soundcore boom 1! ...without checking to see if it had a 3.5mm input. Sadly I'm in a warehouse in which I need to carry my phone around with me for scanning sometimes dozens or hundreds of feet away from our PC station so it's not feasible to play things off my mobile device. Instead I'd been running the 3.5mm connection into our PC and playing local radio, sirius, di fm, etc. off a background browser window. I'll likely keep the soundcore for use at home & the like, but our warehouse PC is a shitty old dell optiplex with zero bluetooth and I'd sooner rather look for a combo BT/3.5mm speaker than buy a dongle and hope the work PC restrictions don't mess with any auto installed drivers it'll have. And preferably something 30-40W or higher. Currently using an old 10 or 15W lil portable (tautonics?) guy as a fill in and while it does the trick when I'm close and directly in the line of audial fire, it's pretty much imperceivable at a distance and/or around corners. As in, I'll think it was turned off because I'm hearing nothing. I don't mind if details are lost at a distance but I'd like to hear *something* when out and about from the desk area. Many thanks in advance. I'd been browsing on amazon and I'm finding a lot more BT speakers without 3.5mm support than I'd seen when I got my W KING, and it was getting a bit overwhelming especially after coming across a couple listings with clearly copy/pasted descriptions saying something about 3.5mm but the item photos and parts breakdown showing there isn't one at all :/
Bluetooth_Speakers • Recommendations for ~$50-100 BT... ->My fiancé told me no to a 2nd boom 2… We can be in this together lol $90 is a hell of a deal for it.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What Bluetooth speaker would fi... ->If you don't want to mess with firmware pick up either the Soundcore Motion 300 or the Soundcore Boom 2 depending if you value a smaller size or deeper bass. [This post](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/) was a huge help in figuring everything out
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best portable bluetooth speaker... ->I usually buy smaller speakers, but I could not resist trying the JBL Party Box 120 at Costco USA. It seemed like a nice item. Best Buy and Amazon sell a newer item. People on this sub seem to like like the Earfun uboom x. I have some earbuds by them, and the sound quality is good. I tried the Soundcore Boom 2 at a store. It is a baby boombox. It sounded really good.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Cheapest Loudest BT speaker ->I do love the Wonderboom myself. You hear so much random stuff, but some people here thought thought the Wonderboom 4 sounded better than the Boom 4, but I have no idea if that is true. I did buy the Wonderboom 2 during covid, and I love the clear sound and the portability. It seems true that Wonderboom 4 has better bass and sounds better at 80 percent max volume. Walmart does have some pretty good demo speakers currently. They have a good number Soundcore speakers that do sound good. The Soundcore Motion 300 sounds good. It is modeled on the Bose Flex that is supposed the best sounding personal speaker. So, the 300 usually costs $80.00. The Audio editor from cnet has given me some good headphone suggestions. He thought the Bose was the best personal speaker, but the Soundcore 300 really is competitve with the JBL Flip 6, Boom 4 and other. You could buy two of those for true stereo if the budget allows or add another later. The Tribit Flow is another Bose imitation, but it seems to sound really good too. The new Sony Ult 1 is really good sounding speaker. Walmart sells it for $99.00 it sounded really good too. Several of these speakers that look like old school jam boxes supposedly sound great. So, the Soundcore Boom 2 or the Tribit Stormbox Blast. I did hear the Soundcore Boom 2, and it does sound great. This cnet list of the best bluetooth speakers helped me. You can get the detailed review by clicking on the individual item. Bluetooth_Speakers • Suggestions For A Decent Budget... ->I just got the Soundcore Boom 2 and I’m very happy with it! Amplified bass option plus LED light up display and it’s only about 3.5lbs. I love the boombox vibe of it.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best option from these choices?... ->Now the better option is to go with the Soundcore Motion Boom or Boom 2. They newer updated models with significantly deeper bass
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best option from these choices?... ->the most recent speaker released the Boom 2 or the older Motion Boom Plus. I own both so speaking on experience, the Motion Boom Plus is good for a balance of Bass and clarity while the Boom 2 is all bass. Both get loud so no problem to run a party. Also Boom 2 is smaller and more portable than Motion Boom Plus but Motion Boom Plus also has a carrying strap if that matters. Motion Boom Plus also has aux jack while Boom 2 is just bluetooth. I usually set them to Soundcore Signature EQ with bass up. You can do your research on the 2 models but simply both be good for bass and really its the size of the speaker that you would pick.
anker • best soundcore speakers for bass? ->https://preview.redd.it/diwmvd461z1d1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=13cb0f154e1c808ffb2fa6badf01f50ed722c99a This is just to see the size of the 2 soundcore speakers I own. Again left is Motion Boom Plus which is bass and clarity and right is Boom 2 which is less on clarity and more on just bass. I don’t know much on Motion Plus but seen decent reviews and of course is even smaller so won’t get as loud but the reviews say decent sound and it has bass up feature. I’d go watch a few reviews just to hear it for yourself.
anker • best soundcore speakers for bass? ->right now on a good Amazon deal if it is in your region or still under $200 US anyway is the Soundcore Boom 2, little bigger than handheld but still light to carry one handed and is a mini boombox and has amazing pumping bass so great for outdoors and parties and with good IP rating for waterproof if on a beach.
Bluetooth_Speakers • What Bluetooth speaker (summer ... ->Soundcore boom 2 is the one if you want low bass. The boom 2 plus is ok but when the volume gets loud the bass starts to muffle as the woofer can't handle deep lows at high volume, especially if you enjoy bass heavy music like I do. I returned the plus and bought a second boom2. Paired they sound amazing and are good for small group get togethers outside. When I have a large group I use 2 stormbox blasts and they do the job.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bass speaker under 200 ->For outdoor use you'll want one bigger than the common 1L bottle size, and generally the best bet in the Large size category is the Soundcore Boom 2. If you do need it smaller, something like an Earfun Uboom L, Soundcore Motion 300 or Soundcore Motion+ will be the best bets in the 1L bottle size. See this [Reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/WirelessSpeakers/comments/16zs2ol/ranking_all_battery_powered_wireless_speakers/) for way more information and links to trusted video reviews and sound samples
Bluetooth_Speakers • What Bluetooth speaker (summer ... ->Tbf if you're looking for apple type of sound means u most likely prefer good and balanced highs and mids. You would wanna go for the beats pill or jbl flip 6. Brands like tribit or soundcore tend to have a more veiled sound profile while lacking clean deeeep bass. Imo jbl does this slightly better but IN THE SAME SIZE RANGE. Therefore, something like a soundcore boom 2 or Tribit Stormbox Blast would easily have more bass than the flip 6's and beats pill but you will not get sound remotely near to the apple sound signature.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for a good Bluetooth sp... ->Soundcore boom xl. Best one I heard so far. I can dl EQ ON THE APP. It knocks u can't hear your self talk. Best and loudest Bluetooth speaker that are portable I ever owned. Plus it's light and floats in water https://us.soundcore.com/products/boom2-bluetooth-speaker-for-bass?currency=USD&variant=43620213915838&stkn=768594562a29&utm_source=google&utm_medium=pmax&utm_content=speaker&utm_campaign=us_soundcore_pmax_speaker&utm_term=16384357367__&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwrvyxBhAbEiwAEg_KghBPonG7iNNsIVM1bdwFDHOkVdw7tdsQKaSzuoeAJFmEHwkFxIZLlBoCERcQAvD_BwE
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best option from these choices?... ->The new Souncore Motion boom 2 is a more budget orientated option, a bit less cumbersome than the other options and gets plenty loud it also FLOATS so if you drop it you won't lose it. Motion boom + is also good. I wouldn't take a harman Kardon on a boat
Bluetooth_Speakers • Boat Bluetooth recommendations? ->Soundcore boom 2 will not disappoint. I do own one and it’s got bass it’s loud it’s something you can pump your fist too. But right now you can get the skull candy barrel XT for 80 at Walmart. I own one of them too and for 80 dollars you can’t beat it. If you wait to long it may go back to 170 dollars and for that price it’s a no go in my book. If you miss out on the XT get the boom2 but do not buy a boom 2 at Walmart it looks the same but its internals are completely different. In other words it sucks.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker under 100$? Someth... ->And check out the variants of that, which will have the same. The boom plus the Boom 2 the boom 2 plus, all of their different price size sound quality volume variances, all pretty damn good and depend upon what matters to you the most
